!!Telara
Initially trained as a Mage, Telara left the Communion in order to live a less hostile life. She eventually married Zaleen and became a librarian in Domain Prime, assembling historical documents and compiling much of the information that would be later used in Midna's Hyrule Historia tome. Telara's personality was remembered as quiet and bashful. She was rather introverted and avoided appearing in public unless in the company of Zaleen or her library.

[[folder:Ordona Province]]
The Ordonians are a humanoid race that are often mistaken for Hylians at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, one notices that they lack the pointy ears of Hylians and, instead, have rounded ones. The origin of the Ordonians is unknown, though many claim that, at one time, they were Hylians, while others say they are the descendants of the lost Kingdom of Ikana.

The Ordonians themselves are a more simple people than the Hylians, and are well known for their vast farming nation to the south of Hyrule. While they acknowledge the Goddesses, the chief deity of the Ordonians is the mysterious goat-like being known as Ordona (hence the origin of their name). They grow crops and breed both goats and horses that are then sold to a vast majority of Hyrule's other races, particularly the Hylians. It's for this reason that many consider the Ordonians a subservient nation of the Kingdom of Hyrule, and thus their political title of Ordona Province.

!!Hylia
A young Hylian empowered with dangerous abilities in Demise's invasion of Akkala, Hylia would exceed all expectations and draw a line against Demise's Moblin hordes. People began to praise Hylia for holding the line, then they put their faith in her, let her rule them, and in the end, they worshipped her utterly and completely. But the Moblins would not halt their advance even with Hylia lording over Hyrule, so Hylia determined that the best way to stop Demise was to cut him off from his followers in a remorseless extermination. It was thus that Hylia personally lead armies to burn and devastate the lush Moblin homelands. Demise used such a genocide against Hylia though, claiming that she had done far more damage against the Goddesses then he ever did by warping the Hylians into her own personal cadre of worshippers. Ashamed of her horrible actions and the pride that went to her head, Hylia withdrew from her followers into hiding.

[[folder:Kingdom of Hyrule]]
Founded in 5000 BG by King Gustaf with the defeat of Sulkaris, the Kingdom of Hyrule has always been the dominant state of the land, currently extending to the town of Vigjaro in the north and Lake Hylia in the south. They're an elder but prideful humanoid race characterized by pointy ears, who believe themselves as the chosen by the Goddesses. Because of this pride, they're often unliked by other races and find themeselves at war with neighbours.

* AnnoyingArrows: Triforce Vanguards can shrug off all ranged attacks that do not come from a mage or siege engine.
* BladeOnAStick: Town and Castle Guards. Also, their Ironclad Elites are halberdiers.
* BlingOfWar: All Hylian units, from the lowly Town Guards to the elite Ironclads, become equipped with gold-plated armour upon their second upgrade, which doesn't help their combat abilities but drastically boost their morale.
* DramaticIrony: They're proud of their undying devotion to the goddesses, because nobody remembers that little incident with Hylia anymore.
* EpicFlail: Wielded by Flail Knights.
* FantasticRacism: They're disdainful towards all races that do not worship the Goddesses; their animosity with the Gerudo and Blins is particularly notable.

!!Sahasrahla
Sahasrahla was named the Sage of Light a century after the defeat of Sulkaris and Hylia's disappearance from Hyrule, sometime around 4900 BG. He worked with the Wizzrobe for many years of his life to aid the unfortunate in Hyrule, until one day he was approached by Mediator Ooccoo of the Oocca. He worked with her in secret for many centuries until he named his own son Rauru the next Sage of Light and passed the task unto him.

----
* ElderlyImmortal: Sahasrahla was already an old man when becoming Sage of Light.
* TheGhost: Sahasrahla wasn't yet born in Hylia's time and has long been deceased at the time of Ganon.
* GrumpyOldMan: Sahasrahla was often noted for being a very grumpy individual, never satisfied with the efforts or work of others.
* ImmortalityInducer: Sagehood is like this: sages don't age until they choose a successor; from that time they slowly lose their powers and continue to age again.
* LightEmUp: Sahasrahla was given the ability to control and manipulate various forms of light by the Golden Goddesses. He could bend light around his form, rendering himself and entire areas invisible from sight.
* MagicStaff: Sahasrahla is often depicted with a Wizzrobe staff.
* NamedByTheAdaptation: In the original 2D Zelda games he was simply known as an Old Man.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Sahasrahla was born in 4752 BG and served as Sage of Light for nearly three millennia before passing the task to his son.
* RobeAndWizardHat: He's usually depicted wearing a long robe and pointy hat.
* WizardBeard: An associate of the Order of the Wizzrobe with a very prominent beard.

!!Rauru
Ascended as an immortal and ageless Sage, Rauru has served the Kingdom of Hyrule for several centuries. He has participated in several of its greatest wars, notably Ganon's first invasion of Hyrule and later the Gerudo Wars.

Rauru later oversaw the construction of the Temple of Time with the ancient Oocca. He spent most of his later years preaching word of the Goddesses and guarding over the gate that houses the Triforce.

* FinalSpeech: He gives one to Ganon before the Moblin king kills him.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He goes all saying that the moblins spread misery to his 'civilized' people, when the Hylians have been butchering moblins by the thousands for centuries. He claims that they rape their resources and leave them to starve but the Moblins' lands are dead because of the Hylians and their back-then goddess and Hyrule occupies most of the rich lands. He then mocks their 'false' god when Hylia caused far more death and destruction than Demise. After this speech Ganon claims that the king's actions speak louder than his words (though, to be fair, the King doesn't know any of this).
* LastRequest: Nohansen asks Zelda to be avenged before dying.
* LastStand: Daphnes leads the last stand of the Kingdom of Hyrule in the face of Ganon's invasion.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives one to Ganon when facing against him alone in the throne room. Ganon justly calls him a Hypocrite.

* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: [[spoiler: When she kills Ganon, the latter had gone past his DespairEventHorizon and didn't even fight back. She wasn't even bothered by that. * NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:Zelda succeeds in killing Ganon and driving the Moblins out of her lands, but Ganon's goal would have probably been the best for everyone. * TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: [[spoiler: When Agahnim attempts to help her recover after Ganondorf inflicts a mortal wound on her, he tells her that he's only been trying to keep her safe during Ganondorf's assault and that she never understood how much he cared for her. !!Princess Oraiya Zelda Nohansen IV / Sheik
Daughter of Zelda III and Agahnim, forced into hiding during the Gerudo Wars, Zelda IV spent most of her childhood in seclusion among the Sheikah.

After her mother is killed by Ganondorf in the Gerudo Wars, Zelda IV is instated on the throne, with Impa as an adviser. Later she marries General Kazakk and has a daughter with him, Tetralyna Zelda V. When General Akazoo betrays the Kingdom of Hyrule and unleashes the Gohma on the capital, Oraiya is seemingly killed, but she goes into hiding to recover and dons a disguise as a Sheikah to aid her daughter and later Link in retaking the Kingdom from Akazoo and the Gohma, locating Saria and rescuing Link from the Oocca leader Demoko. * MisunderstoodLonerWithAHeartOfGold: The populace do not like Zelda IV for her introversion, but those that knew her are aware of her very kind personality and her respect of all life.
* OneHitKill: Oraiya's Sheikah training allows her to do this.
* SympathyForTheDevil: Despite Agahnim betraying the entire kingdom, Zelda still loved her father and believed that everything he had done was for her and her mother. She even embraced him before he died.

!!King Kazakk
The father of Princess Zelda V, King Kazakk inherited the throne after marrying her mother, the previous Princess Zelda. Prior to his adoption into royalty, Kazakk served as a General in the Gerudo Wars and led the armies of Hyrule against Ganondorf and his Darknut allies under the control of Vaati.

Kazakk is skilled with both the sword and spear, and his nearly three decade spree of warfare has made him a skilled tactician and commander. He currently watches over his daughter who has just replaced him on the throne, refusing to retire until she has proven herself ready to lead the Kingdom.

----
* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: His important role in the Gerudo Wars nets him a marriage to Princess Zelda IV and kingship.
* BadassMustache: As can be seen on his portrait.
* BladeOnAStick: His WeaponOfChoice is a spear.
* TheCavalry: When Ordona Province is attacked by the Gerudo and the Darknut Legion, Kazakk accompanies Zelda, Akazoo and a small army to save the town.

!!Princess Tetralyna Nohansen Zelda V / Captain Tetra
The fifth Princess to bear the name Zelda, Tetralyna came from a long line of royalty composing the Kingdom's second dynasty. She was one of the youngest rulers to ascend to the throne at just the age of eighteen. Princess Zelda was known to be extremely cautious, preferring to ponder in wisdom before acting out. She was occasionally aided by powerful premonitions, and would often wait to see if such visions would give her foresight of a situation.

----
* ActionGirl: She leads the Hylians personally during many battles.
* BadassCape: Her outfit as Tetra includes a cape.
* TheCaptain: As Captain Tetra, leader of New Hyrule in the Great Sea.
* TheCassandra: Nobody ever believes in her dreams except for herself. They can't see the flames and just consider them to be a figment of her hyperactive imagination.
* CompositeCharacter: Originally Princess Zelda V's first name was Alyna, as could be seen in the author's old Zelda RPG. After the conception of Great Sea: Total War, she was merged with Tetra from the Adult Timeline Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda games, and her first name also got changed into Tetralyna, an obvious portmanteau of the two names.
* DangerouslyShortSkirt: Unlike the other princesses that wore skirts that reached their feet, hers is above the knees.

* RoyalRapier: The premier user of the Royal Estoc originally given by Rauru to Zelda I.

* TroubleMagnetGambit: [[spoiler: Zelda lures Akazoo and Dethl's Stalfos, Ganondorf's Gerudo, Nardu's Lizalfos and Hylia's Wizzrobes into meeting her at Hyrule Field to discuss surrender. However, when they arrive there, they don't find Zelda, only three angry, hostile armies... and Zelda uses this opportunity to crush them utterly.]]

!!Link

Link is a descendant of King Gustaf and the heir to his lost First Dynasty. After Gustaf and his wife Siroc's children were chased into hiding by the false Goddess Hylia, they maintained secrecy over countless generations and hid their lineage. At a young age Link's father was killed and he was then raised by his mother and uncle. [[folder:Zora]]
The Zora are an elder race whose origin traces back to the times of ancient Hylians. They are an aquatic species that resemble humanoid fish but while they display many characteristics of aquatic life they also have vestigial mammalian traits that imply they might have had mammalian ancestors.

Zora soldiers usually are outfitted to look more imposing rather than fight and perform effectively, and most of their armour, weapons, and outfits are designed for form over function. For this reason the Zora generally are not very durable, but their high discipline and morale usually helps them last longer in a fight when most soldiers would make a run for it. They also have a natural advantage in the water, an advantageous trait none of the other races can claim to have.

----
* AsteroidsMonster: A Morphite splits into smaller Kyamerons when slain.
* BlingOfWar: Zora armour and weaponry is made for show over practicality and this reflects into their combat effectiveness.
* CityOfCanals: All Zora cities are built on waterways.
* CityOfGold: The Zora capital Domain Prime is extensively decorated with walls and canals made of brass.
* CombatTentacles: Morphites are living tentacles made of water that flail themselves at enemies.
* DefectorFromDecadence: The High Zora were originally created by Bellum to be its servants, but they broke free and converted to Goddess worship.
* ElvesVersusDwarves: The Zora (elves) are enemies of the Gorons (dwarfs).
* FantasticRacism: The pure blooded Zora see the River Zora as monstrous aberrations, even though in truth they may be the ancestors of their people.
* FauxFlame: Blue Fires, created by Sapphire Wardens from water, feel like ice to the touch and can disintegrate anything exposed to it for too long.
* HorseOfADifferentColor: Their preferred mounts are aquatic elephants, known as Hydrophants.
* JavelinThrower: Bigocto Sparkpikes throw javelins, charged with the electricity generated by their bodies.
* MakingASplash: Floodmasters, Zora with total mastery over water. Their magic is not limited to bodies of water; they can even summon forth water from deep in the earth and from the air regardless of environment.
* TheMedic: Zora Healers help troops fight on longer than they normally would.
* MookMaker: Kyameron Masters fight by summoning Kyamerons and have no way to directly defend themselves.
* NonMammalMammaries: They have traces of breasts despite being fish.
* OurElvesAreBetter: A race of long-lived, pointy-eared humanoids, obsessed with physical forms, some of whom have remarkable but unnaturally graceful figures.

* ShockAndAwe: Zora Mages. They've even built cannons and battle platforms that wreak tremendous havoc on infantry using their lightning.
* ShoulderCannon: Bigocto Siege Platforms, cannons mounted on giant Bigoctos.
* SquishyWizard: Zora Mages are able to torch people with a wave of their hand but in a sword-to-fin fight they'll go down fast.
* WarElephants: Hydrophants, used by the Zora Dominion as mounts, are amphibious elephant-like creatures.

!!Jabun
Malkorbagia's successor as Sage of Water and a survivor from the Oshus Empire after its destruction by King Oshus' Phantom Army, Jabun fled from his doomed people and settled at the source of the Zora's River. There the Zora began to worship him for his seemingly miraculous appearance and being the successor of Malkorbagia. He established the Zora Dominion and instated the monarchy that would rule over for the next several thousand years.

When Princess Ruto is killed in a brawl, Zaleen pleads with Jabun to bring her back to life. He accepts and makes her his successor to Sagehood. [[spoiler: In the Twili invasion of Zora's Domain, Jabun is killed by Veran.]]

----
* BigEater: Jabun's appetite is insatiable.
* CutsceneBoss: Jabun doesn't even bother to resist when Onox attacks him. Needless to say, he is swiftly killed.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Jabun is despised by other Sages, particularly Kasuto.
* LastOfHisKind: Jabun is one of the very few survivors of the Oshus Empire.

* TheMedic: Unlike most titans, Jabun forgoes attacking altogether in favour of healing allies.
* NonActionGuy: The only things Jabun frequently does are sleeping and eating. When summoned to the battlefield, he only passively heals nearby friendly units and cannot even attack enemies.
* {{Pride}}: Jabun is known for his vanity and over bloated ego: he refuses to speak to no one other than his servants or worshippers.
* StoneWall: Jabun is very durable as is expected of a titan, even moreso with his ability to heal, but has no way to harm enemies.
* TimeAbyss: Jabun is even older than the Zora Dominion, having lived in the war between the Lokomo, the Oshus Empire and the Cobble Kingdom.

!!King Farkos Zora De Bon XVI
The latest in a long line of monarchs of the Dominion, King Zora Farkos was a rather undignified ruler who abused his station of power. He was responsible for several unnecessary expansion campaigns, one of which led to a full invasion of Death Mountain. King Farkos was remembered as quite a selfish individual who shunned tradition. He unlawfully married the half-breed Zora Rutela, only to divorce her and thereby pollute the royal bloodline and splinter the Dominion into two empires.

----
* AdiposeRex: The King of the Zora is also the fattest one by far.
* AppealToForce: King Farkos gets away with being obese for being the King.
* BladeOnAStick: King Farkos wields a large polearm.
* CoolHorse: He rides on a Battlecrab, a gift from the Lanayru Zora.
* FantasticRacism: King Farkos loathes the Gorons. Deconstructed when this racism becomes an important contributor to the destruction of the Zora's Domain.
* FatAndProud: In fact, his obesity is how King Farkos proves his power.
* FatBastard: The fattest Zora around. Not a nice guy.
* GeneralFailure: [[spoiler: In his invasion of Death Mountain, King Farkos' army is stopped in its tracks by the Gorons and the Dodongos' new alliance, and he is killed by Darunia. In the meantime, the Twili and the River Zora invade the Zora Dominion, and with the bulk of the Zora army away in Death Mountain, the Domain is destroyed.]]
* NamedByTheAdaptation: In [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime the original game]] he is simply called the Zora King.
* SolomonDivorce: When King Farkos and Queen Rutela divorce, their daughter Ruto stays with her father, while their unborn son Ralis is later raised by his mother.
* UglyGuyHotWife: The Zora King is an obese fatcat, while his wife Rutela looks much more normal and fit.

!!General Rutela
-->''See Lanayru Province''

!!Princess Ruto
The daughter of King Farkos and Queen Rutela, Ruto's bloodline was polluted by their union, as is evidenced by her eyes. Despite this, she retained her title and inheritance of the Dominion throne after the divorce of her two parents. An accident that nearly killed her early in adulthood led to her adopting Sagehood. To this day she is one of the youngest sages to have lived. Ruto was known for her very feisty and aggressive personality, in some cases being described as a total brat. Despite this demeanor she withheld a lifelong sadness after the splitting of her parents that she tried to cure by finding a husband, a venture she often spectacularly failed in.

----
* ActionGirl: She manages to kill several Gohma with her magic and later is not afraid of facing off Sulkaris. The Fallen Sage even somewhat praises her determination.
* BackFromTheDead: After Ruto is beaten to death by Zaleen's father, he brings her to Jabun, fasts and prays in front of him for a week. Jabun, moved by Zaleen's dedication, names Ruto his successor and restores her to life.
* BadassCape: She wears a long red one during the siege of Greshou Library.
* BoomerangBigot: Ruto refuses to allow the Lanayru Zora to trade in the Dominion, because these halfbreeds would come taint the purebloods at the Dominion... even though Ruto herself is a half-breed as well.
* HalfBreedDiscrimination: She is often looked down upon by pureblood Zora for being a half breed.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Ruto's mother is Queen Rutela, a Lanayru Zora.
* MakingASplash: Ruto was given the ability to control and manipulate water and its various states, including [[AnIcePerson ice]].
* TheMedic: Ruto prefers to heal soldiers instead of fighting.
* MedicalMonarch: After the death of her parents, Ruto becomes the leader of the Zora.
* ReallyGetsAround: Ruto is infamous for perverted tendencies and romantic interests towards non-Zora and is often scolded by her father for disgracing her people with them.
* SecretRelationship: After King Farkos forbids her from interacting with Zaleen, she still continues to see him in secret.
* SpoiledBrat: Before becoming Jabun's successor, Ruto is often considered bratty and spoiled by her people.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Ruto is often caught performing perverted displays with Zaleen while they were still very young.
* TheUglyGuysHotDaughter: Ruto looks completely normal compared to the obese Zora King.

!!Zaleen
For many years Zaleen had served as Ambassador between the Dominion and its many neighbours. He was perhaps the most well-versed in Hyrulean lore and cultures, due in part to help from his wife's library of information. Zaleen was a very close friend of Ruto's during childhood, however, an accident that he was involved in nearly killed her and resulted in her adoption into Sagehood. Since then he has maintained emotional (and literal) distance from her and has grown antagonistic to her rise to the throne.

----
* AbusiveParents: Zaleen's father was apparently a violent drunkard, as he violently beat Ruto to death in a drunken rage around 90 AG.
* {{Ambadassador}}: Being both a diplomat and a trained assassin.
* NeverFoundTheBody: He's never seen again after the Oocca's Aura strikes Greshou Library. It's implied, though not confirmed, that he was killed.
* SecretRelationship: After King Farkos forbids Ruto from interacting with Zaleen, they still continue to see eachother in secret.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Zaleen is often caught performing perverted displays with Ruto while they were still very young.

Officially, the Ordonians have no standing army. Unofficially, many Ordonians are willing and know how to fight and have makeshift forces always on standby. Years of fending off the Moblins of the West have made them a very strong people, and when their farms are threatened, one should never be surprised to see a sudden army of pitchfork-armed Ordonians charging at the aggressors. Because of their agricultural roots, the Ordonians are masters at breeding horses and fighting on them in combat. Without a doubt, they have the best cavalry in all of Hyrule. Despite their superior advantage on horseback, the Ordonians' lack of true professional training mean that many of their soldiers fight with dirty and unrefined styles. Fighting in melee against a well-trained force will likely result in their fighters being outclassed and beaten by pure skill.

----
* {{Arcadia}}: Ordona is a mostly rural, agrarian country, whose inhabitants live simple lives.
* AttackAnimal: Ordonians can put their hawks and goats against enemies.
* AnAxeToGrind: Lumberjacks and Goat Lords swing axes in battle.
* BeastOfBattle: Ordonian hawks can be deployed in battle to dive into enemy lines.
* BeeAfraid: Beekeepers can throw bee hives at the enemies, who will then have to face off against a very angry swarm of Killer Bees.
* BowAndSwordInAccord: Ordonian Rangers can fight as well with a sword as with a bow.
* DualWielding: Lumberjacks wield two axes each.
* FragileSpeedster: Rough Riders are the fastest cavalry in all of Hyrule, but lack durability.
* HorseArcher: Yeoman Archers (archers mounted on goats) and War Wagons (grenadiers riding chariots) are two variants.
* HorseOfADifferentColor: Ordonian Goats are used as mounts by Yeomen and Goat Lords.
* MolotovCocktail: War Wagons' riders throw beer grenades at enemies.
* MoneyMultiplier: Ordonians get bonus income from farming.
* OnrushingArmy: Ordona Province's tactics are largely based on this.
* {{Ranger}}: Ordonian Rangers are dedicated to protecting the wild borders of the Province from encroachment. These stealthy soldiers know how to survive in the wilderness and take out almost any foe before they knew what hit them.
* TheSimpleLifeIsSimple: The Ordonians are a simple people known for their vast farms.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: The burning bottles of beer thrown by Ordonian Drunkards and War Wagons.
* UnskilledButStrong: Ordonian Lumberjacks are not trained in combat, and lack technique - their combat effectiveness mostly comes from their sheer strength and brutality.

!!Mayor Bo
Bo served as the oldest Mayor Lord of his time, making him the most powerful man in Ordona Province. During his life he led a defensive during the Gerudo Wars and later on launched a counter attack against Labrynna with the help of Princess Zelda and Link.

Mayor Bo was a man of impressive durability, and was famous for getting into sumo fights with Gorons. His daughter Ilia claims that he ripped the horn of a Moblin that he made a bet with, but he denies ever pulling the stunt off.

----
* {{Acrofatic}}: His in-game model is rather fat, but that doesn't mean he's a weak fighter.
* AnAxeToGrind: In battle Bo wields a large axe.
* BaldOfAwesome: Bo's head is completely bald.

!!Rusl
To many in Ordona Province, Rusl was just an average trader who made rounds to Hyrule Proper and Lanayru. Those that knew him personally were more than likely aware of his minor background in the military. Unlike many Ordonians, Rusl was actually professionally trained in several Hylian military academies, with rumors that he was attempting to become the first Hyrulean Knight from Ordona Province. Somewhere along the line he left his studies and became the salesman he was later known as. Rusl was known for his kindness, and perhaps more importantly, calmness. Even in sticky situations he maintained a level head and never showed any signs of panic. Perhaps a remnants of his military background?

----
* BadassMustache: His moustache is quite prominent.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Rusl fights with a simple Ordon Sword.
* OldMaster: Rusl leads the Ordonian army against Labrynnian invaders when already an old man.

!!Ilia
Ilia was the daughter of Mayor Bo and trading assistant of Rusl in her youth. Being born into a privileged class, she had the opportunity to try various job paths before settling on breeding and training horses. As a young adult Ilia became quite a businesswoman in Ordona Province, gaining stock over some of the best horses in Hyrule while simultaneously managing a lumber company to supply and build stables across Hyrule. She was known for her party-loving personality and habit of holding down quite a bit of ale.

----
* TheBeastmaster: Ilia is a well-renowned horse breeder.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: She's a party-loving woman and can hold down quite a bit of ale.
* PassionateSportsGirl: Ilia wants to surpass the legendary Malon in horse riding.
* TheUglyGuysHotDaughter: Ilia isn't exactly hot, but it's hard to not surpass her father Mayor Bo.

!!Ashei
The daughter of a Hylian Knight, Ashei's father was expelled from his order for having a child with an Ordonian wife and corrupting the bloodline of its members. With little place for him as a farmer in Ordona, Ashei's father instead wandered east into the mountains of Labrynna where he raised Ashei to become a knight as he was. Without the rigid order and imperious military looming over her training, Ashei turned out much different than most professional soldiers. With no true connection to any nation, she was more mercenary than knight, adapting and learning a wide variety of combat techniques and sword-fighting arts from various cultures.

----
* PrivateMilitaryContractors: Ashei has worked as a mercenary for many years, and armies led by her tend to use mercenaries frequently as well.

[[folder:Lanayru Province]]
Originally established as a small vassal state through the union of Hylian and Zora marriages, Lanayru Province quickly grew to become an economic juggernaut that financially rivaled the larger empires of the world. The bountiful resources of their homeland allowed for rapid wealth, but made the small and young nation a prime target for constant invasions at the hands of greedy and hungry forces.

----
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: The Lanayru Zora display a large variety of skin colours.
* BeastOfBattle: Lanayru Zora use Arurodas and Shore Serpents in battle.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Some Lanayru Zora have replaced their fins with blades.
* BlingOfWar: Lanayru soldiers prefer to wear stylish clothing instead of military-grade armour into battle.
* CityOfCanals: All Zora cities are flooded to some degree.
* {{Egopolis}}: The Lanayru capital Airu is named after the first Zora who took a Hylian wife.
* FullFrontalAssault: Shore Sentries eschew clothing and wear only a helmet so they can camouflage better.
* GiantEnemyCrab: Creatures used by the Lanayru Zora as mounts include giant prawns and giant crabs.
* HalfBreedDiscrimination: The Zora hybrids used to be considered outright abominations by both parent races. Even now, both treat Lanayru as the annoying nudist colony on the beach.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Half human equivalent, half dolphin people.
* HorseArcher: Prawn Bowmen are like this, except that they ride giant prawns, not horses.
* HorseOfADifferentColor: Prawn Bowmen ride prawns, Scorpion Knights ride giant scorpions.
* InterspeciesRomance: The entire faction is the product of unions between the Hylians and the Zora.
* MoneyMultiplier: Lanayru Province can build banks which significantly improve their income.
* NonIndicativeName: Lanayru Conscripts are mostly willing volunteers, while their Marshals are the equivalent to sergeants in real militaries.
* ScaryScorpions: Arurodas, which are essentially giant scorpions.
* SpikeShooter: Lanayru Shrapnel Flingers fling jagged shards of coralmold.

!!Queen Rutela
The former wife of King Zora Farkos Du Bon XVI, Rutela eventually split from the Dominion, and more-or-less formally sanctified Lanayru Province as a distinct nation. Prior to her marriage, she was a general in the Dominion's army, and had participated in the defence against Ganon's first invasion. Perhaps because of her military background, Queen Rutela was not above educating her people in the means of self-defense and combat. Despite this, she was incredibly kind, and clearly a non-violent pacifist in her policies and goals.

----
* ActionMom: Rutela has two children, and still leads the fight against the Gohma when they invade Airu.
* BadassCrew: Rutela, Zelda, Impa and Rauru fight together in mission 12.
* ColonelBadass: Rutela serves as a general in the Zora Dominion before becoming ruler of Lanayru Province.
* HeroAntagonist: [[spoiler: Rutela commands the Zora armies against the player-controlled Gohma in mission 30. She is killed by Sulkaris.]]
* TheHighQueen: She's a very kind, pacifist ruler, dedicated to protecting her kingdom.
* MrExposition: Rutela informs Zelda on the situation of the fighting around Lake Hylia when she arrives there with Impa, Rauru and Demise.
* MyBelovedSmother: For the most part, Rutela has sheltered her son Ralis from the world.
* SolomonDivorce: When King Farkos and Queen Rutela divorce, their daughter Ruto stays with her father, while their unborn son Ralis is later raised by his mother.
* UglyGuyHotWife: Hard to believe, she's King Zora's wife. Her children inherited her good looks.

!!Prince Ralis
The son of King Farkos and Queen Rutela, Ralis was born shortly after the royal divorce. For most of his life he lacked a father figure, and was raised entirely by his mother, perhaps stunting his maturity as a result. He was seen as a late bloomer, and somewhat immature for his age in the eyes of others outside of the royal court. Ralis took notice of outsider opinions, and after the death of his mother he began a quest to achieve what he hoped was the manhood that his father was never able to teach him. Perhaps foolishly, he associated bravado and and aggressiveness with masculinity, leading to him becoming a somewhat reckless warrior and Prince.

----
* {{BFS}}: His Serpentine Sword is a bit too big for the young Ralis to handle.
* ParentalAbandonment: Ralis is born some time after his parents divorce, and never meets his father as a result.
* WarriorPrince: Prince Ralis is a rather reckless warrior.

!!Laruto
Laruto was a young Zora woman who had become a Guardian Maiden, pledging her service in particular to Queen Rutela and her son, Ralis. Despite her youth and lack of rank among other Maidens, she had successfully warded off multiple assassination attempts on the Queen's life, and quickly earned her favour. After Rutela's death, Laruto briefly served as a regent Queen of the throne until Ralis had come of age to assume rulership. Laruto had a somewhat sarcastic edge to her speech, but was nonetheless a very agreeable person to those who knew her. She was a personal friend of Zaleen, and would often volunteer as an ambassador or trader between Lanayru Province and the Zora Dominion with him.

----
* AbdicateTheThrone: [[spoiler: Laruto relinquishes the crown of Lanayru Province when Ralis comes of age and wishes to become King.]]
* {{Ambadassador}}: Laruto is both a diplomat and a bodyguard of Queen Rutela.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Laruto fights with two blades with which she had replaced her fins.
* AChildShallLeadThem: Defied: as Ralis was still a boy when Rutela dies, Laruto temporarily becomes Queen until Ralis comes of age and takes the throne.
* DishingOutDirt: Laruto was given the powers over earth when succeeding Darunia.
* IWorkAlone: Laruto is generally annoyed by people and prefers to keep to herself.
* MakingASplash: After succeeding Ruto as Sage of Water, Laruto was given the ability to control and manipulate water.
* PraetorianGuard: Laruto commands the bodyguard of Rutela.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: As Queen of Lanayru Province.
* YouAreInCommandNow: [[spoiler: Laruto becomes ruler of Lanayru Province after the Gohma kill Queen Rutela.]]

!!Aydia
Aydia was a long-serving Marshal in Lanayru's army. She was almost entirely responsible for the Province's conscription program, and without it, the nation would have likely fell from a lack of military force. She has participated in more battles than any other Zora of the North, and bears scars from her numerous engagements. Unlike the majority of Lanayru's population, Aydia firmly believed a strong standing army that could engage in prolonged warfare was necessary for the nation to survive. While not a warmonger by any means, she was never slow to suggest direct military action as a solution to any potential problem.

----
* GoodScarsEvilScars: Her face bears quite a few scars from her past battles.

[[folder:Labrynna Regime]]
In the southeastern reaches of this stable land, the Labrynnians have developed peacefully for centuries, only having to fend off smaller tribes of hostile natives to expand their empire. The average Labrynnian looks similar to Hylians, though their ears have a much more vertical tilt to them. It is theorised that they may have been Hylian colonists that travelled far east in some ancient time, though there is no proof left to link the two races.

The Labrynnians have managed to harness the power of hydraulics through the use of geysers, and, as such, steam is an important aspect of their machinery. Their most infamous invention, however, is that of gunpowder. Labrynna's armies are all equipped with these deadly firearms that can down an enemy force from a tremendous distance. This technological superiority gives the Labrynnians a huge edge when fighting from a distance. Despite the miracle of their guns, however, they have a long reload time, from which a prepared army can bridge the gap and charge into melee. At this point, the Labrynnians are not the best sword fighters in the land and tend to be bested by the more brutal medieval races.

----
* AmbitionIsEvil: Their main motivation is the prosperity of their land.
* BearsAreBadNews: Labrynnian Blue Dragoons are mounted on Blue Bears. Enemy soldiers are usually more worried about the bear itself rather than the soldier.
* {{BFG}}: The Steamtank's main cannon is easily the biggest weapon in the game.
* CoolMask: Labrynnian Conquerors and Brigadas wear masks made in the likeness of a Lynel.
* TheEmpire: Labrynna is an expansionist and environment-unfriendly regime.
* EvilTowerOfOminousness: The Black Tower in Lynna City, [[spoiler: which is in reality a giant Mirror of Twilight designed by Veran to summon Zant and the Twili to Hyrule]].
* FantasyCounterpartCulture: Between their uniforms, use of early firearms and textbook sneering imperialist culture, they're quite literally conquistadors who wear purple.
* GratuitousSpanish: They're the equivalent of Spanish conquistadors, and this is reflected by their occasional use of Spanish words.
* HailfirePeaks: Lynna City has two potentially clashing visual styles of two eras. On one hand we have the medieval era palace and houses set up in the city, juxtaposed next to networks of pipes to signal the coming industrial age that Labrynna might enter into. Within the city walls there is vegetation maintained by the city, but peeking out of the walls will reveal evidence of strip mining that will eventually scar the land if it continues. And of course clashing with the rather cheery, peaceful, and uplifting colours of most of the city is the dark and ominous Black Tower.
* HappinessInSlavery: Tokay slaves, who work willingly without pay and often thank the Labrynnians for giving them free food and fancy uniforms: both items that they think make them superior to their wild brethren.
* HorseArcher: Blue Dragoons fulfil a similar role, being pistoliers mounted on bears.
* HumanityIsAdvanced: Althought not as advanced as the Oocca.
* HumansAdvanceSwiftly: Seemingly the only ones to have made significant technological advancements; the explanation for this is their homelands' resources and geographical isolation.
* HumansAreBastards: Very apparent with Labrynna, an expansionist, environment-destroying regime.
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: The Labrynnian Ribauldequin is very inaccurate, relying on volume of fire over accuracy.
* TheJuggernaut: Steamtanks can crush any obstacles under their massive tracks.
* LongRangeFighter: Labrynna is one of the best (if not the best) factions in the game when it comes to ranged combat due to their heavy use of gunpowder weapons.
* MightyGlacier: Steamtanks are extremely slow but are armed with the biggest cannon and the most powerful grinder able to crush dozens under its tracks.
* MoreDakka: The Ribauldequin can unleash a rapid-fire shotgun spray over a large area rather than picking out a target.
* TheMusketeer: Armed with both a rifle and rapier, Labrynnian Conquerors could devastate enemies with volleys of gunfire and then engage in a melee when necessary.
* NeverSmileAtACrocodile: Labrynnian Aquadongos bear a strong similarity to crocodiles and alligators.
* OutgrownSuchSillySuperstitions: Labrynna practices state atheism, and their Professors actively work to suppress religions.
* PointyEars: Their ears are described to have a much more vertical tilt compared to Hylians.
* PollutedWasteland: Lynna City has already the first marks from the intensive strip mining.
* PraetorianGuard: The Palace Watch's traditional role is guard duty for royal grounds in Lynna City.
* RisingEmpire: Labrynna suddenly entered an industrial revolution and started massive invasions on neighbouring races.
* SchizoTech: They have Industrial Revolution tech in a primarily medieval setting.
* ScienceIsBad: The second (or third) most technologically advanced faction and also one with a darker shade of grey.
* ShovelStrike: Pioneers, while supposed to deploy sharpened stakes and retreat, can join the fight with their spades, and they have a bonus against horses.
* TankGoodness: The Labrynnian Steamtank is a powerful mobile cannon that could shell enemy armies and plow through infantry with ease. Steamtanks could usually terrify an enemy into submission without having to fire a single shot.

!!Queen Solado Ambi
The latest member of the long-lasting Ambi dynasty, Queen Solado Ambi was placed on the throne shortly after her father's death. Later in her reign she encountered Veran, whom she quickly instated as her personal advisor. Soon after, Ambi ushered in a new age of industrialization and formally established the Regime. Queen Ambi was known as a kind and gentle person during the first part of her reign over Labrynna. Shortly after Veran's insertion into her court, however, Ambi's attitude began to degenerate. Bouts of depression seemed to overcome her, as well as a great sense of impatience for everything.

----
* AntiVillain: Type II. Ambi is not malicious, but is firmly under Veran's control.
* FaceHeelTurn: She used to be a kind ruler before Veran appears, turning her into a depressed, impatient person.
* LookOnMyWorksYeMightyAndDespair: What Ambi thinks the Black Tower as.
* MouthOfSauron: To Veran, whose existence is known by only a few individuals.
* OneManIndustrialRevolution: Seemingly from nowhere Ambi helped develop hydraulics as a new energy source for her kingdom as well as provided insight into new forms of weaponry. In reality, it's all the work of Veran.
* PuppetKing: Ambi is under control of Veran.

!!Ralphonso 'Ralph' Ambi
The grandson of Queen Ambi, Ralph was born of the first generation to live during Labrynna's rapid industrialization. Machinery is second-nature to him, and years of education have landed him an internship commanding batteries of cannons. Despite Ralph's clear admiration for Labrynna's technological revolution, he feels Labrynna has done into a stage of decline, as if something is missing. He has since turned to seeking out the supernatural, in particular he hopes to uncover the mythical Fairies and ancient creatures that once coexisted in his homeland.

----
* BadassCape: His outfit includes a cape.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Ralph is described as eccentric and awkward but loyal and dutiful.
* CulturedBadass: Ralph has a keen interest in the cultures of those races native to Hyrule, in particular the Fairies and other supernatural things.
* MakingASpectacleOfYourself: His eyes are never seen under his spectacles.
* QuickDraw: Ralph can swiftly draw a pistol and snipe an enemy, lowering other enemies' morale.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: The Queen's grandson is an artillery commander and researcher into the paranormal.
* WarriorPrince: Ralph, the Queen's grandson, fights in the army alongside the regular artillerist.

!!Lord Edgar

!!Linebeck
-->''See New Hyrule''

!!Veran
A mystery to all in Labrynna, even those most close to her, Veran's past is a terrible saga of personal loss and trauma. Once a Great Fairy, circumstances in the past lead to her banishment into the Realm of Twilight with other criminal elements of her people. Sometime during the Gerudo Wars she managed to return into Hyrule, fleeing far to the east into Labrynna where she observed and became friends with Queen Ambi. Currently Veran's plan is unknown. She is, however, quite clearly connected to Labrynna's rapid industrialization and extreme military growth. She is the architect of the Black Tower, a massive monolithic structure designed to serve as the new throne of Queen Ambi. Some suspect there's more to the tower's purpose than just an ego trip for Veran's royal friend, however.

----
* AnArmAndALeg: Two of her four arms were ripped off by Demise during the showdown at Lake Hylia.
* BareYourMidriff: Veran's outfit as Ambi's chancellor doesn't cover part of her belly.
* TheDragon: The most influential and dangerous lieutenant of both Zant and Solado Ambi.
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: After living in the Realm of Twilight for centuries, Veran's skin becomes extremely pale, and her hair turns brown.
* EmptyEyes: In her Fairy form, Veran's eyes are only two black voids.
* ETGaveUsWifi: It's implied that Veran is the one actually behind Labrynna's industrial revolution.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Veran has a deep fondness and love for Onox whose death brought her years of guilt and sadness.
* EvilChancellor: To every Twili ruler except King Mizorant and later Queen Ambi.
* EvilGenius: Her keen mind is likely her greatest weapon, as she almost single-handedly laid the foundations of her puppet states, the Twili Empire and later the Labrynna Regime and the advanced technologies found in both cultures.
* EvilSorcerer: A Great Fairy, skilled mage and one of the major villains in the story.
* InterspeciesRomance: Veran's husband is the Dark Dragon Onox.
* TheManBehindTheMan: During her time in the Realm of Twilight, Veran has controlled many Twili kings as her puppets. Later, Solado Ambi becomes this when she returns to Hyrule.
* ManipulativeBastard: She manipulated many Twili kingdoms throughout the years, cares very little for others and was willing to backstab her sister to obtain the Triforce.
* MultiWielding: Veran wields a whip in each of her four arms.
* {{Necromantic}}: Veran wants to resurrect Onox from the dead.
* OneManIndustrialRevolution: It is implied that Veran singlehandedly caused Labrynna's rapid industrialisation.
* PeekABangs: After Veran's transformation in the Realm of Twilight, one of her eyes often gets covered by her hair.
* TimeAbyss: Veran lives in the Realm of Twilight for over a century in Hyrule time. Since time passes much more slowly in the Realm of Twilight than in Hyrule, she must have experienced several millennia of existence.
* UnholyMatrimony: Veran's relationship with Onox.
* VainSorceress: Veran is a very vain and egocentric individual, placing much emphasis and pride on her physical beauty.
* VillainousBreakdown: After Onox is killed by Ruto, Veran breaks down and refuses to return with Zant's army to the Realm of Twilight, resulting in her being trapped in Hyrule.
* WhipItGood: She uses a whip after her return to Hyrule.

!!Maku Tree of Labrynna
Once a powerful force of nature that watched over the land of Labrynna, upon Veran's arrival the personality of the Maku Tree seemed to have dramatically changed. The being's visual appearance had changed to reflect the shift as well. Now fueled with power from Labrynna's industrialization, the Maku Tree's once kind and gentle demeanour has warped into that of a bloodthirsty and battle-ready beast. Whatever the truth behind her transformation, it's clear that the Maku Tree is now out to conquer the land rather than guard it from invaders.

----
* AmbitionIsEvil: She sold out her race and the forest for power.
* {{BFG}}: No less than six of them.
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to the Abel of her brothers, the Great Deku Tree and the Maku Tree of Horon.
* {{Cyborg}}: She has received a good amount of mechanical augmentations, including a steam engine, brass armour, cannons and mechanical legs.
* FaceHeelTurn: The Maku Tree of Labrynna used to be a guardian of Labrynna until she betrayed the forest for power from Veran.
* LargeAndInCharge: Like her brothers, the Maku Tree of Labrynna is huge, towering above entire armies.
* PlantPerson: She's a Deku Tree, a race of walking, talking trees.
* PoweredArmor: Complete with steam engine, root and trunk armour, and six cannons.
* TimeAbyss: Her age is never exactly specified, but it's known that she's very ancient.
* WhenTreesAttack: This is a tree that can lash out at enemies with her roots or shoot them with cannons.
* WiseTree: Formerly, until her FaceHeelTurn.

[[folder:Order of the Wizzrobe]]
A secret society of avian humanoids. The duality of their actions masks their true intent, an intent which is likely to be forever unknown, even to non-Wizzrobe members of their order. In times of war the Wizzrobe have and can assemble their numbers into a standing army. The concept of magic remains a fanciful and mysterious thing to many people, but if anyone understands the nature of it then the Wizzrobes are the masters. They are able to manipulate the forces of nature through the use of wands and staffs.

----
* AscendedFanboy: Some acolytes are augmented with Wizzrobe magic and become wizards capable of unleashing powerful bursts of light as the Ancient Hylian Mages once did.
* AttackAnimal: Conjurers use inanimate objects to attack enemies.
* BlackMage: All Wizzrobes except Illusionists and Conjurers use magic as a weapon.
* BlowYouAway: Aeromancers fire bursts of winds.
* CannonFodder: Acolytes, Hylian malcontents recruited and used by the Wizzrobes as disposable minions..
* CastingAShadow: Death Wizards exterminate enemies with dark magic.
* ChurchMilitant: Part of the Wizzrobe's playstyle involves using the Cult of Hylia to aggressively convert people to worshipping her and joining the Wizzrobe as acolytes. The Cult of Hylia is a very disruptive religion, harming public order in non-Wizzrobe settlements, and can cause riots and eventual rebellion. This allows the Wizzrobe to walk in, wipe out the rebels, and take over, without incurring the wrath of the settlement's original owners.
* CoolMask: Death Wizards wear skull-shaped masks, while Conjurers and Cardinals wear crested bird masks. Acolytes and Hylian Mages wear bird-masks as well, presumably to emulate their avian masters.
* DishingOutDirt: Geomancers magically throw rocks at enemies.
* EarthquakeMachine: Earth Reapers, mysterious machines able to tear apart the ground that surrounds it with violent earthquakes, making it an exceptional means of dismantling an enemy wall.
* ElementalPowers: Each variant of Wizzrobe makes use of some element
* KungFuWizard: Illusionists, who during a fight will randomly teleport past the enemies and bash them from behind with a magic staff.
* LightEmUp: Hylian Wizards fire bursts of light to stun enemies.
* LongRangeFighter: Most Wizzrobes are poultry if forced into close combat, but their ranged attacks are often strong enough to slaughter entire regiments in a few short salvos.
* MakingASplash: Aquamancers stagger enemies with bubbles of water.
* MageKiller: Wizzrobe Medusa Heads, whose attacks deal extra damage to enemy mages. No one is allowed to fight the Wizzrobe with magic.
* MagicStaff: All the magic-casting Wizzrobes use these, except for the Conjurers, who favor small wands.
* MasterOfIllusion: Illusionists can easily dodge melee attacks and make fake copies of themselves.
* MookMaker: Conjurers, who fight by animating constructs known as Chilfos, Freezards and Crystalline Constructs.
* TheOrder: As the name 'Order of the Wizzrobe' would indicate.
* PettingZooPeople: Bird men.
* PlayingWithFire: Pyromancers use fire staves to incinerate enemies.
* {{Precursors}}: Wizzrobe civilisation used to flourish in central Hyrule before being destroyed by an unknown calamity, leaving Hyrule to be inherited by the Hylians. Now all that remain of them is a secretive order.
* RobeAndWizardHat: The standard attire of the Wizzrobes.
* SecretArt: The magic of the Wizzrobes. Given that Hylian Mages are created through a SuperhumanTransfusion, it's probably a biological trait.
* ShockAndAwe: Electromancers use electricity to shock enemies to death.
* SquishyWizard: All Wizzrobes with the exception of Illusionists are devastating from afar but terrible in close combat.
* SuperhumanTransfusion: Hylian Mages are created through an infusion of Wizzrobe blood.
* TeleportSpam: Illusionists can randomly teleport behind enemies to smash their skulls.
* {{Whatevermancy}}: The Wizzrobe roster: Pyromancer, Aquamancer, Electromancer, Geomancer, Aeromancer.
* WitchSpecies: All Wizzrobes have a natural talent for magic.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Hylians infused with Wizzrobe magic lose their natural hair colour in favour of blue, although that's only visible on Lana and Felonius since the others tend to shave their hair bald or wear hats that conceal it.

While her loyal followers romanticised and glorified her disappearance as a self sacrifice needed to destroy Demise, she asked for asylum amongst the Wizzrobe who willingly granted it. In return Hylia provided the Wizzrobe with much of their modern abilities and they worked to slowly erase all trace of her from history. The Wizzrobe's magic work was thorough: there is no evidence of her existence left in any text, not even the Sheikah or the royal family of Hyrule have any recollection of her important involvement in Hyrule's history.

----
* AdaptationalVillainy: The canonical Hylia is a GodOfGood, this one is a false god whho became a KnightTemplar and part of the BigBadEnsemble.
* TheArchmage: One of the most powerful magic users in Hyrule.
* ChildMage: Hylia was only a young girl when imbued by the Hylian mages.
* CorruptTheCutie: Starts off as an innocent girl.
* DishingOutDirt: How Hylia defeats Demise.
* EyesAlwaysShut: Hylia's eyes are always completely covered by a blindfold.
* FinalSolution: Hylia's plan against the Moblin threat: gather a huge army, leave all your cities undefended to lure the enemies out and [[ApocalypseHow turn their kingdom into a barren wasteland while they're gone]].
* AGodAmI: Zigzagged. She was once an Hylian infused with magic power that turned her into a PhysicalGod; as a result, people began worshipping her above the Goddesses themselves. When Demise made her realise [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone her crimes]], she withdrew from Hyrule and [[StopWorshippingMe asked for sanctuary to the Wizzrobes]], who [[UnPerson erased every trace of her existence in exchange for the knowledge of her magical powers]].

[[folder:New Hyrule]]
With the realm of Hyrule in ruins, many have set out to find new lands. The Kingdom of Hyrule and Lanayru Province worked together to construct an exploratory fleet that would traverse the ocean in search of new land and resources. Lead by Tetra, the previous Princess of the Kingdom of Hyrule and her loyal knight Link, the new Hylian Navy has set out to explore and colonise the Great Sea.

Tetra and her forces were quickly unwelcome to the Great Sea by Gerudo and Ocean Blin Pirates, forcing them to dig in on Outset island and establish a base of operations. From there the new Hylian forces gather armies from Hyrule and set out to explore the Great Sea by force, uncovering lost technology of the Lokomo and Oshus Empire.

Tetra's forces are rather outgunned by the more established empires in the Great Sea, though she has the advantage of requesting support from the Kingdom of Hyrule by summoning units from their roster in Hyrule: Total War. Being an exploratory force, Tetra also has access to swift scouts and spies, as well as a rather speedy navy. While Tetra's navy is competent, it is dwarfed by some of the more established ocean going empires.

* BlackCloak: Part of the Knights of the Iron Triforce's uniform.
* CarryABigStick: The Knights of the Iron Triforce's weapons: a spiked mace and a trident lantern.
* DarkIsNotEvil: The Knights of the Iron Triforce look outright creepy with their mask and black robe, but calling them 'evil' would be dead wrong.
* FragileSpeedster: The Hylian navy is rather speedy, with access to swift scouts and spies, but lack in firepower and are vulnerable to ramming.
* LongRangeFighter:
** Knights of Windfall, armed with a deadly heavy crossbow but can't fight at all in a brawl.
** The Hylian navy is this in general, best used to attack from a distance and vulnerable in close combat.
* PointyEars: The Hylians, just as before.
* RacialRemnant: Of the Hylians and the Zora who have been devastated by the Great Flood.
* SchizoTech: In the Great Sea, New Hyrule's technology is second only to the Cobble Kingdom (and the extinct Lokomo), having been provided cannons by the Labrynnian merchant Linebeck.
* ShockAndAwe: Lanayru Mages, the last remnants of the Zora Mages, can unleash electric jolts like the Mages of the Domain once could.
* VestigialEmpire: Contrary to their supremacy on Hyrule before the Great Flood, the Hylians are now restricted to several islands in the Great Sea while having to fend off Blin raids.
* YouCantGoHomeAgain: Hyrule was nearly destroyed in the Great Flood.
