* VerbalTic: She almost always ends her sentences with -desu wa.

Ostensibly the senior member of the Angel Wing, Forte dislikes taking responsibility and would prefer to go drinking or fire off some of her impressive firearm collection at the range. Oh and, speaking of guns, she almost as crazy about them as Mint is about her mascot costumes. While she is not given to elaborate scheming, rare guns are often the only incentive needed for Forte to take on a job, something the other Angels know and sometimes actively exploit. She has a very masculine personality and is sensitive about her age which leads to violent confrontations with Ranpha, but the two of them are the most likely of the Angels to team up when faced with a common enemy. Forte also has a curious father-daughter relationship with Commander Volcott, which is explored during breaks in the whirlwind of shenanigans.

* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Several of her get-rich-quick schemes have involved taking up Pro Wrestling. Ironically, in the first episode, Ranpha and Forte are trying to weasel their way out of wrestling and a gambling debt.

She may seem sweet to a fault but those who cross Mint will always regret it. Her serious and proper exterior conceals a sociopathic streak that is a source of much humour to the audience but not particularly healthy for the characters in the show. She also has an obsession with ''kigurumi'', or mascot costumes. Mint is also quick to cash in on the get-rich-quick schemes perpetrated by the other Angels even though she is the heiress to the Blancmanche Corporation and would theoretically have more money than she could ever spend at her disposal.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: She may seem sweet to a fault, but Mint is willing to kill to preserve her secret hobby. '''''Never''''' get in her way.

* TokenEvilTeammate: While a member of the Angel Brigade, Mint at her worst is willing to resort to dirty methods and sometimes backstab or even try to ensure her own teammates' deaths.

* ActionGirl: Forte is just as physical as Ranpha. but prefers gun combat.

* CleavageWindow: There's an opening in her dress held together by straps, which shows off her cleavage. Like Ranpha, it was censored in later seasons.
* CommissarCap: She wears peaked cap as part of the military theme of her CustomUniform.
* CoolBigSis: She played this role to a little girl named Milly for one episode. Forte sympathized with Milly's difficult lifestyle and encouraged her to change her ways like a cool big sister would do.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: It's implied she had a harsh childhood in which she grew up in a dangerous city and had to learn how to use a gun to survive. She changed her ways when Volcott found her and brought her into the military academy.

* EekAMouse: Unexpectedly for the tough Forte, she totally freaks out when she encounters a space mouse/hamster. Although, she reacted like that because [[JustifiedTrope she's allergic to the animal]], not because she was scared or disgusted.

* HighClassGlass: Her signature monocle.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's a boorish, violent, greedy, self-serving GunNut, but her heart is in the right place most of the time. In the severely rare serious episodes, she shows a surprisingly mature, compassionate side to those who share aspects of her past, such as the little Milly and Volcott.

* TheLeader: She's the leader of the Galaxy Angels by default, being the veteran member of the group. Not that she's that job at it.

Vanilla is the youngest of the Galaxy Angels and the most quiet one. Not much is known about how she joined the Angel Wing or why but she cooperates with or at least acquiesces to the schemes and shenanigans of her squadmates without so much as blinking, implying that she may share some of their interests or desire for good looks and worldly possessions. She can usually be seen drinking tea, holding Normad, abusing Normad in some manner, or observing one of her many, many religious rituals. She can also manipulate nanomachines for a wide variety of purposes, the most common of which is healing wounds.

* BewareTheQuietOnes: She once destroyed a whole city with the laser from her forehead because the citizens were calling her a fat pig when she likes cows better. It didn't help that she was wearing a pig costume.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: In the middle of his endless fawning, Normad does question whether Vanilla cares for him, even a little. He thought that Vanilla going after him after he was kidnapped was a sign that she does care, but then she uses him as a cushion as soon as she has him back.

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Leeks.

Normad is a living example of LostTechnology, a missile from some nameless war that started to develop a respect and appreciation for its own life. Knowing that when it exploded, the sum total of its knowledge and experience would be lost, it instead chose to desert and drifted in space until it was found by Vanilla in a field of junk. After blackmailing the Angel Wing into finding it a new body, Normad joined the cast and often contributed to their wacky hijinx with its knowledge of LostTechnology. It considers all of the Angel Wing girls to be crass and unrefined, with the exception of Vanilla whom it treats with something resembling reverence.

* TheChewToy: He's usually being mistreated by Vanilla and being shot in the head by Forte. Hell, he even took the trope literally when Milfeuile was turned into a baby and started chewing on him.

* LoveMakesYouEvil: He's usually a mean-spirited, but mostly harmless ChewToy. When his beloved Vanilla is hurt, he transforms into a literal rampaging monster, tortures the rest of the Angel Wing and threatens to kill them. He only goes back to normal when he sees Vanilla is okay.

* DisguisedInDrag: One episode has him disguise himself as Milfeulle when she absents an important meeting.

* IronButtmonkey: In one episode, a hitman has him shot, beaten with a mace, poisoned, thrown off a building, run over, blasted and tortured by multiple traps. Milfeulle at least she had the excuse of being a ghost, but Volcott only had sheer fortitude on his side.

One day, a terminally ill Chitose was sitting in her hospital bed staring out the window at the rest of the Angel Wing playing hopscotch. She wanted to be friends with them so badly that when the chance came she manipulated all of them to try and get a spot on the team. It almost worked. Although she was unable to insinuate herself among the Angel Wing, she did manage to get onto their base by joining up with the Twin-Star Team where she serves as a recurring antagonist who constantly seeks revenge on them for having snubbed her previously. Next to Mint, Chitose is arguably the most intelligent member of the cast and has used her knowledge of their respective quirks to get the upper hand at least once throughout the course of her very short run on the show. Aside from her tendency to faint when faced with highly stressful emotional situations, almost nothing about her was carried over from the games. She doesn't even get her own Emblem Frame.

* IJustWantToHaveFriends: She yearned to become friends with the Angel Brigade after seeing them playing outside from her hospital window. However, Chitose is way too needy and spiteful to not ruin any possible friendship. The only one who does want to be her friend is Milfeulle, but Chitose suffers some much AmusingInjuries around her that she ends up being scared of Milfeulle.

* TeamMom: To the Twin-Star Team, much more so than Volcott is to the Angels. Mary is like a stern mother to the Perot twins, pushing them to do a good work to surpass the Angels and trying to get them to eat nutritive food.

* BrattyHalfPint: He's immature, rude and has no respect for older people. He also hates to be treated like a child despite being a ten-year old and way too prone to tantrums.

* PolarOppositeTwins: He's reserved, intellectual and calm, the polar opposite of his full of himself, boastful and short-tempered twin brother Kokomo.

* InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals: Usually, no one remembers them or vice versa. Episode 23 of the first season even featured Patrick alongside his wife [[DistaffCounterpart Patricia]] and their [[IdenticalGrandson Identical Son and Daughter]].

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: She has pink hair.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: To be specific, her hair is light blue.

* BaldWoman: In the episode "Slippery Pasta", Mint goes bald. She spends the episode hiding this from everyone, while finding a way to reverse the damage.

* OdangoHair: To complement her AnimeChineseGirl theme, Ranpha has a pair of spheres on both sides of her head. Although, they're mere accessories instead of actual hair buns.

* ZettaiRyouiki: She wears black thigh-highs with her CustomUniform, leaving only a bit of her upper legs bare.

* ArtMajorBiology: After suffering from a terminal illness for so long, she has learned to alter her body temperature and go into comas at will.

* FlowerInHerHair: Her ribbons have flowers on them.

* ConspicuousCG: Lily performs a bit of LampshadeHanging on it in the first episode.

* SplitPersonality: She has two personalities. The first is the unpredictable and ditzy Kahlua. The other is her hypercompetent alter ego Tequila who generally doesn't do anything and has a reputation for promiscuity and speaking in lots and lots of innuendo. They transform back and forth whenever Kahlua ingests alcohol, when she eats one of her special magic chocolates, or when the plot dictates that [[RuleOfFunny it would be funny]] for her to do so.

* OjouRinglets: Her hair is styled into ringlets that look like drills. One time, [[PrehensileHair she actually uses it as a drill]].

* MasterOfTheMixedMessage: In the middle of his endless fawning, Normad does question whether Vanilla cares for him, even a little. He thought that Vanilla going after him after he was kidnapped was a sign that she does care, but then she uses him as a cushion as soon as she has him back.

* TokenMiniMoe: One of the two. Right after Mint, Vanilla is the tiniest girl in the Angel Brigade and he has the bonus of actually being as young as she looks.
