* EvilCounterpart: Lionwhyte's army is basically a glammed-up version of Ironheade. Justified in which the Ironheade soldiers are dissidents (except for the Glamhogs, who broke off from Kill Master instead of the other way around). The man himself is a mashup of Eddie's fighting prowess (literally, he's a MovesetClone of Eddie) and Lars's [[TheDandy vanity]] dialed up.

A figure from the History of Metal. Aetulia was a beautiful woman who lived deep underground, and sang to Madronal, the teated tree of drinking. Her lovely and magic song nourished the tree, and in turn the First Ones. She was eventually kidnapped by the First Ones, and her song was used to lure Ormagöden to his death. After he and the First Ones were wiped out, Aetulia was left alone in the dark, where she wept endlessly for her part in killing the Eternal Fire Beast until she finally turned to dust. Her tears, infused with both her power and eternal grief, would become the Sea of Black Tears.

* NeoclassicalPunkZydecoRockabilly: Parodied. They are part of the Second Wave of American Tween Melodic Rap Metalcore. Though musically they're more of a combination of a PopPunk, with a heavy emphasis on pop, and NuMetal group.

* EightiesHair: So ridiculous and over the top he can use it to ''fly.'' One has to wonder if [[BaldOfAwesome Rob Halford]] requested it.

* GoGoEnslavement: His Groupies.
* GroupieBrigade: The Razor Girls' EvilCounterpart.

* BaldOfAwesome: Kage the Kannonier, a sidequest Bouncer patterned after and ''voiced by'' [[Music/{{TenaciousD}} Kyle Gass.]] Once Eddie gets his confidence in his mortar skills up anyway.

The second army is the [[DoomyDoomsOfDoom Drowning Doom,]] embodying TurnOfTheMillennium GothicMetal and BlackMetal. They are composed of various forms of TheUndead, ranging from emo zombies to ghosts to [[OurDemonsAreDifferent pseudo-demonic creatures]] that have crawled straight from the UncannyValley. They're the only army with no {{Status Buff}}s, yet they are also the only army that can afflict {{Status Ailment}}s. The Drowning Doom are more about bringing the opponent down than building themselves up.

* AffablyEvil: A slave driver, yet he fancies himself as the leader of a professional, profitable industry. He calls his slaves "employees," dismisses Ironheade's rebellion as a labor dispute, and insists he has humanity's interests at heart. Such talk just infuriates Lars in response.
