* From Dominique's perspective, there's two love triangles going on in ''Manga/TheCaseStudyOfVanitas'': Dominique believes the sheltered FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire Noé (Betty) is attracted to Jeanne, who is becoming captivated by the mysterious AntiHero Vanitas (Veronica). Whereas, Dominique sees herself as Noé's UnluckyChildhoodFriend (Betty) who pales in comparison to the more enticing and buxom executioner-turned-knight Jeanne (Veronica). However, Dominique is very likely a case of WrongGenreSavvy since she's just assuming Noé has feelings for Jeanne because [[PsychologicalProjection she sees in Jeanne what she lacks to be desirable as a woman]]. [[KnowledgeBroker Dante]] does tell Dominique that Vanitas and Jeanne becoming a couple would be in her best interests, but considering Dante is all but stated to be a [[HomoeroticSubtext VanitasxNoé]] [[ShipperOnDeck shipper]], he probably means someone other than Jeanne might take Noé.

* ''Manga/{{Devilman}}'': To Akira's Archie, Miki is his caring, gentle and more "normal" ChildhoodFriend Betty, while [[HoYay Ryo]] is a [[{{Bishonen}} pretty]], exotic foreigner with a more aggressive nature and much more obsessive with Akira. This being Devilman, no one wins. [[spoiler: Miki ends up being killed, while Akira also dies in his last battle with Ryo - who was revealed to be Satan - and by Ryo's hands, no less, which leaves Ryo to suffer forever for killing his own love.]]

Umi is loved by Ascot (Betty), but she likes Clef as well (Veronica). And both Emeraude (Betty) and Alcyone (Veronica) are in love with Zagato- but he only loves Emeraude and dislikes Alcyone very much.

** In ''Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion'', the situation with Rei and Asuka is a bit different. * ''Anime/PrincessTutu'' plays with this trope in a way that approaches CyclicalTrope levels. First, there's Fakir (the {{Tsundere}} Bad Boy) and Mytho (the Prince) for Ahiru. However, [[spoiler: their roles are subverted in the second season with Fakir as the Betty to the Raven Prince Mytho's Veronica]]. On the other hand, while Ahiru seems The Betty to Rue's Veronica... Rue's certainly The Betty to Princess Tutu's Veronica for Mytho. And bringing Princess Kraehe in this, this starts all over again. Plus, Autor could be the Betty for Rue while Mytho is The Veronica.

Megumi, the Betty, is cute but has a slim build and is overall much plainer with a quiet, domestic and very supportive personality. Erina on the other hand has more of a sexy body type with considerable curves and blonde hair. As far as personality goes, she tends to be more ambitious, aggressive and demanding, [[{{Tsundere}} though secretly quite nice]]. For the most part, only Megumi is confirmed to have a crush on Soma, while Erina is more ambiguous but it's heavily hinted that Soma fits the type of man she'd like to be with.

* ''Manga/GEGoodEnding'' has Shou and Yuki for Seiji, the protagonist. One is bubbly, the other one is more serious. One comes from a mid-class family background, the other one from a high class family. One is blond, one is black-haired.

* The ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' meta-series, being JustForFun/TropeOverdosed, has more than one of these:
** ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'': Mirai (Archie), Bright Noah (Betty), Liutenant Sleggar (Veronica) and Cameron Bloom (ThirdOptionLoveInterest). * In ''VisualNovel/HigurashiWhenTheyCry'', there are two different triangles that could be seen as this. The easier one is between Rena and Mion, with [[GenkiGirl Rena]] as Betty and [[{{Tomboy}} Mion]] as Veronica. Earlier, the twins Mion and Shion are set up as another one of these, but it's a little harder there to say who'd be Betty and who'd be Veronica. The best assumption would be Mion as Betty and Shion, who is introduced as a bit of an outsider and certainly has a bit more danger to her, as Veronica.

* ''Manga/KashimashiGirlMeetsGirl'' has a LesYay variation. Tomari is a tomboyish {{Tsundere}}, while Yasuna is a YamatoNadeshiko.

* In ''Manga/LandOfTheBlindfolded'', Arou (Betty) and Namiki (Veronica) are rivals for Kanade's affections, even though Arou wins from Volume 2 onwards.
