openA CREEPY TV SHOW IN THE 90s-00s Live Action TV
there was a tv show, a lil bit creepy, with witches and maybe zombies lived in this gothic house and the most vivid thing that i remember was that kid which was a muppet or a doll that comes to life
openER episode Live Action TV
I saw this in 1994-95. One episode had a scene of where one of the female nurses went to someone's house and saw a baby on an infant car seat. She also saw a note. She took the baby to I think a wedding, because the parents (I think it was the parents) either wanted to leave the baby or one forgot, it was very sad. Anyway, can anyone please tell me the title of the episode? Thank you.
Edited by thestormtrooperopenOld Anime about a Water Drop Anime
Ok so this is very obscure, I only remember seeing the ending when I was a kid, and I can say is an anime because the text was in japanese, It was the first and only time I saw it but I couldn't forget it for some reason. So what I remember is this water drop with eyes and mouth I don't remember if it had arms and legs, and a beautiful woman with white hair, typical 90's anime style... and that's it..
openCitibank? commercial from ca. 2008 about this family that found out they were Swedish Live Action TV
The premise of the commercial was that with the money they got from their bank/credit card, they went on a trip to Norway because that's where they thought they were from. But when they got there, they found out they were Swedish. The story was told through narration. This commercial was on all the time, so I thought it would be easy to find, but I can't find it. Can any of you?
openIncredibly vague memories of a 2000s-era (?) animated show. Western Animation
It was an animated show (I assume western animation, but it could have been anime; I have very little memory of it); a boy (I think) had some kind of magic thing (on his arm), and I really don't remember anything else about it, except that he said something I can't remember.
Edited by vrtsprptmopenKid's show (National Geographic sponsored?) about stranded aliens exploring earth's animals Live Action TV
It just popped into my head, but I was wondering if any of you knew about this show they used to have us watch if it was raining in recess during my elementary school days. Basically there's these 3 aliens, two males and a female, and they explore various regions on earth and examine its plants and animals. I remember it being goofy but informative, but I just can't remember the name of it.
openOld kids show about cars
I've been racking my brains trying to remember a childhood show I used to love. It had an awesome intro with music and was about cars that were animated. Believe the worlds dream, land, world , may be close to it.
openCGI Kids Show with Ducks and Children in Space Western Animation
When I was sitting in a hotel lobby, I once caught a short section of a cartoon. It was clearly aimed at kids and animated with CGI. The details I remember were that there were a couple of kids, a boy and a girl, who were paired up with these ducks on a spaceship. The biggest detail I can recall is that one of the ducks reported to an admiral.
open1980's children's movie about insects (possibly Disney) Film
This was a movie I believe, but it could have been a television show, which aired on the Disney Channel during the mid-1980's. I'm not certain if the movie was made in the 80's or not. I recall there was a mix of animation and non-animation. There were some children (non-animated) who somehow shrunk down and began interacting with animated insects. I am definitely not thinking of Honey I Shrunk the Kids. I'm pretty sure this was a made-for-TV movie that revolved solely around insects. I remember one particular scene where the brother was stomping on an ant hill, and his sister tried stopping him, and then once the kids shrunk down, the ants took revenge. There were lots of other insects besides ants. I have searched and searched all over the internet and cannot find the title listed anywhere. Not sure if it was even a Disney original program, just know it aired on Disney.
openMegaman 3 Shadow man with lyrics Music
There's this song and animation that I remember hearing on youtube a few years ago that's basically taken over my perception of Shadow Man's stage music. It was about a work day, basically, going from waking up to getting home. I can remember snippets of lyrics, but not the name of the person who made it. I think it might have been called "work man" or something to the effect. I can't find a fucking trace of it, no matter how hard I look.
openForgotten show
This may not even be a program, may just be my imagination but I seem to remember a possible cartoon from the mid 90s (possibly older than this that involved some kind form of VR possibly. All I really remember was the main character would put on a pair of glasses (or something similar) and then would travel (possibly load or some kind of warp) to another reality or game. Something tells me the load/travel was green. Sorry it isn't much to go on but I faintly remember pretending to "play" this program with friends when I was about 10 as my parents had sunbed glasses and we used to use these to pretend we did the traveling. I know it isn't any newer than 2000 if that helps at all.
openChildren’s Novel Literature
I’m trying to remember the name of a children’s novel that my class read in the third grade (around the year 2000). I believe the cover had an illustration of a boy opening a treasure chest. The boy lived in an apartment building in a city. One of his neighbors made miniature artworks.
I appreciate any help you can give!
openInteresting Picture Book Literature
I’m thinking of a picture book that was probably published by the mid-2000s. It contained a similar cast of characters from page to page, but the setting would change drastically (like from a jungle to outer space to a desert in the Old West). The characters would have different adventures in each location. I believe one of the characters was named Professor Fuzzy Logic. The writing may have rhymed.
Thank you!
openScene from a Book Literature
I recently remembered a scene from a book but have no idea what book it was. It would have been a novel for kids or teens that was published by the mid-2000s. In the scene I remember, a girl learns the phrase “pregnant with possibility” and says it to herself while she is near her bedroom window enjoying the night air. A neighbor boy hears her say it and asks what she’s talking about. She feels embarrassed.
Thanks for any help you can give!
openearly 2000 show Western Animation
It was about a group of kids ending up in a different world. I can't remember if they travelled dimensions. There were 2-3 boys, one was the leader and another was the comic relief. They were also black. As well as a girl with freckles and red hair in pigtails, she was tomboyish and smart. It may have been on cartoon network, Jetix or nickelodeon but probably the latter.
openRace-swap movie Film
I'm trying to find a film I watched a long time ago in which a black man and a white man "swap" race groups (via special makeup) so they can date the women they liked (who liked the other). In one scene, the white man (disguised as the black man) dropped a fake eyeball into a person's drink.
open1990s show maybe on MTV or VH-1 "Zoo" something? Live Action TV
So I'm trying to remember the title of this show. I think it only ran for 6-8 episodes. I remember is being on late-night cable, possibly on MTV or VH-1. It was a show that had different sketches, or segments, not like a comedy show like Kids in the Hall—just different odd segments throughout. It was hosted by a young girl, maybe 12-13 who spoke in English but also sometimes in Russian. It was a dark, unusual, sort of Lynchian show, I believe running time was 30 minutes. Any help with a title or network would be appreciated! I think it had Zoo in the title, but all I get when searching is for things like U2's Zoo TV tour.
Edited by lorettaopenVHS kids commercial that traumatized me
Okay, so I made an account for this website to specifically ask to see if anyone remembers a childhood trauma of mine. It was a commercial for a VHS children's movie (I'm not sure exactly which one) that was a compilation of clips from the production company's other movies. I don't remember anything about it excpet for at the very end there was a zoom in of a brown, long-necked, almost dinosaur looking creature that looks at the camera and kind of smiles. I remember being completely terrified of that particular shot and had recurring nightmares about it. I'm not sure what made it pop into my mind but I've scoured the internet and I can't find a single trace of it! It was a tape I know I watched pretty frequently so it might have been a rugrats collection of episodes or maybe a disney movie. It's going to drive me crazy if I don't find out what it is so please help if you can!!
openShort science fiction story Literature
I would have read this in the 90's but it quite possibly dates from much earlier! It was the thoughts of a man trapped in a time loop, conscious but with no control of his own actions. He played out the same day over and over again whilst being watched by an audience of aliens that he could barely make out around him. He seemed to be part of some kind of recording the aliens used to show what Earth life was like. He was trapped in a repeating hell and presumably so was everyone else he interacted with during that day.
Netflix series, the episodes are odd and tied together in weird ways. There were very few episodes but the name was something like a website for murderers
