It might be The Mummy; I'll have to watch it to find out.
It was an animated show (I assume western animation, but it could have been anime; I have very little memory of it); a boy (I think) had some kind of magic thing (on his arm), and I really don't remember anything else about it, except that he said something I can't remember.
