The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

I'm somewhat new around the forums, so I don't really know anyone well enough to name anyone specific. So instead, I'd like to thank everyone who's had the patience to put up with my shit helped me settle in this week! Especially you. Yeah, you. The one reading right this now.
Okay, me not knowing anyone specific to gush about was a lie. I'd like to gush about Gregnes2000, for no other reason than having Freemans Mind as his avatar for a good while. It was good to be reminded of that series. Oh, and he's a very nice person, too, but who cares about that?

Gush to Micool TNT, for also being a real blast to talk to and doing a great job at helping me out in a jam.
And finally, gush to my boyfriend Engie, for being cute, sweet, funny, loving and understanding and being no doubt the best boyfriend I have ever had the pleasure of dating.
