Three major fandoms i've worked in (aside from my dabbling in My Little Pony which I abandoned due to lack of interest):

SWAT Kats: I completed fan-scripts for the three "lost episodes," and then did a further four scripts as a "prequel" series, detailing, beyond their origin, how they got started and the setup to the series proper.

One Piece: several stories promoting the Zoro/Robin pairing, a Body Swap fic between Zoro and Sanji (where each ends up helping the other with Robin and Nami, respectively), an age-change fic where Usopp has to save everyone after Bonney makes Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and Franky into seniors, and Zoro, Chopper, Robin, and Brook into kids. Then a series of thirty drabbles about Zoro and Robin (and/or, so both got character studies as well as shipping), a set of humor drabbles where each Straw Hat asks for advice, and asks from the worst possible crewmate (for instance, Luffy asks Franky for fashion advice), and a few one-shots elsewhere

For Bleach, i worked in the Yoruichi/Soi Fon pairing, one story about them getting into a relationship (based on Soi Fon's deal with Hachi that he would seal Urahara away for a month after the Winter War), and one about the various phases of that relationship: first sex, moving in together, proposal, marriage, conception, and childbirth, as well as a lemony one-shot

I've been a member of ff.n since 2004 and have written 81 stories, but five of them are Dead Fics and another half dozen or so are so bad I regret ever writing them—and no, they are surprisingly not the ones I wrote when I was 13, but some I wrote when I was 15 or 18, during my "quantity over quality" phase, including one I phoned in as a request for someone in a fandom I'd left behind already.

Total Drama, Fire Emblem Tellius, The Simpsons, Homestar Runner, and the Goof Troop universe are/were my main fandoms, but I've also done a little bit of dabbling.

I wrote some Half Life stuff back when I was like 13; it's pretty bad.

Right now I'm novelising TESV: Skyrim, which I guess counts as a fanfic. Though I've been approaching it as original fiction, using the actual game as my "author's outline"; I've no qualms about changing some fairly big things. In fact, I've already rewritten the main quest to better fit the main character.

Other than that, I've always got some kind of godawful self-insert narrative buzzing around my head. I'd never put it on paper, though; urgh.

I participated in an Endwar team fanfic years ago, and I do write sidestories for my RP from time to time, but I mainly spend time RPing or making PEFE articles. (Which might count as collaborative fanfic in the case of the later, I'm not so sure.)

Avatar the Last Airbender, Star Wars(especially Kotor), Halo, Mass Effect, Star Trek, Family Guy, War of the Worlds, Friday the 13th, Sky High, and some thinly veiled Real Life stuff with me as an Author Avatar in the aforementioned worlds and others.

I recently discovered Avatar TLA, and was motivated to write this by how badly Azula's ending grated on me. This thread appears to be the place to ask for readers, feedback, and Wiki Magic, so I'm asking.

I write fics. Digimon mostly. My brother and a friend made a tropes page for A Captive Light, which was the first in a series now over 125,000 words long. I need to go back and edit it a bit, but *shrug* I.. I'm proud of it. People liked it well enough, liked the emotion n stuff. I've also got some non-digimon work, a pokemon sapphire fic, a cracky Harry Potter fic....

My interest comes and goes, I always get grandiose overblown ideas, and never managed to finish. Back when I still liked Naruto prior to the time skip (wow this is like 10 years ago gosh). Let's see (going by what I consider my personal best, excluding all crappy troll fics), my first was one in which Naruto and friends fight ruthless modern day pirates (a gorey twist on the Pirates vs Ninja meme at the height of it's popularity).

Two ideas for a Cosmic Horror Story set in the Gunslinger Girl universe (they fight a doomsday cult headed by an eldrich abomination, the other, well...

It was nausea fuel written for shock value, and let's leave it at that)

Last but not least (it almost became a part of the Fear Mythos) is my Wilhelm Wood story, in which Team 8 wander into a weird parallel dimension and are forced to examine their beliefs. None of them really got any attention, so they got deleted over time.

Maybe it's just me (I openly admit I'm not good at making friends), but I've never gotten along with the more fanboyish behavior inherent in fanfiction communities. There's like an atmosphere of absolutism. You're either one with the group's mentality or you're an enemy. Too many people treat criticism like personal attacks, especially in the more fanatical parts of anime fandom. On the hand (not to throw all of anime fandom under the bus), I wasn't as mature way back when as I like to pretend I am now, and tended to smart mouth folks who were being smart mouths themselves. I eventually decided it just wasn't worth the effort anymore.

I can't bring myself to delete my Wilhelm Wood story though. I still like this crazy idea and I intend to finish it, if only for my own benefit. I like the idea of writing fanfiction for the fun of it. In practice though, I'm not very productive.

I've wrote fanfictions on and off over the years since I was twelve....God my writing was god awful back then....I am currently in the process of writing what I hope to be one of my best storys, the first part of a Ninjago Fanfiction based in a AU focusing more on the characters then the plot...Not saying the plot doesn't play a huge part. I just enjoy focusing on the characters reactions and feelings when it comes to plot points rather then just dishing them out and just saying 'And Zane did this and Kai did that' If anyone is interested https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9641775/1/Ninjago-The-Man-in-The-Wolf-Mask it is currently up to the tenth chapter.

I've never actually read any fanfics, but I've written one. Just one. It was based on Fatal Frame II...and now that I think about it it was actually pretty terrible. The first half was decent and was set before the start of the game, then the terribad second half was set alongside the events of the game with my cast assisting Mio in achieving something similar to the Promise ending of the game. I really sucked at writing action scenes though. Anyway, the first half was based on a dream I had the night before, and I basically just wrote it down as-is.

I didn't even finish the game.

Right now I've gotten an idea for a fairly short Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai fanfic (actually more like I've already had the entire story play out in my head anime-style), after having watched the first four episodes of the show. But yeah, I'll be more-or-less winging it again. Not like I didn't just make stuff up as I went along for my narrative essays in school.

Well, my fanfic which will be the last one is this: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9379933/1/Peter-Parker-CEO-of-Oscorp

It is the story I want to tell before moving on to original fiction if only just to give tribute to characters I adore. It's up to chapter 7 and in dire need of some critical looks.

Will it be wrong if I make a thread for it?

Regarding that Kikou Shoujo fanfic I mentioned in my previous post...I think I'm having a little too much fun coming up with skill names that sound typically Japanese. :x

I haven't made any progress on the write-up! Gah!

p.s. How much fun? I've come up with an English name, a Japanese name, AND furigana readings for each skill (where possible).

Original stories have always been my focus, but I look at fanfiction as a chance to hone my writing skills, as well as express my affection for certain series.

Back in high school (2006-2007), I wrote two Fusion Fics, putting Animaniacs characters in Pirates of the Caribbean roles for the first two movies in the series. In retrospect, they weren't very good, especially since I did them in Script Fic format. The third in the series (now basically a Dead Fic) is more in line with my later work (see below).

Before even that, though, after reading Romeo And Juliet in my freshman year (2004), I got the idea to rewrite the famous tragedy as a comedy (and prose). Hilarity ensued, and in college (2010) I finally finished it. This story showed me that comedy writing seems to be my forte, with common attributes such as Running Gag, Reference Overdosed, Anachronism Stew, and just plain Rule of Funny. A Spiritual Successor, The Comedy Of Hamlet, is in development (stalled due to Attention Deficit Creator Disorder and a really long Act 2, Scene 2), but happily still being worked on.

More recently, nostalgia for Goosebumps has started another trend for me, writing Darker and Edgier stories based on RL Stine's Goosebumps monsters. See Creeps for a taste - I hope to put up the first chapter soon. I'm considering both a followup to Creeps (creating a trilogy along with the original book, Calling All Creeps!) as well as stories based on Night Of The Living Dummy and Monster Blood.

I've written a few fanfics before. I can't do long term projects though and half the time I veer off into a new idea before finishing up the one IO was trying to work on. I'm urrently trying to write a mulit-chapter fanfic to see if I can make myself do it. There'sno characters who are caught together and the other characters divide themselves into groups either for or against the group. It's not suppose to be serious though it keeps insiting on become more dark. The problem is trying to make the plot fit and writing it before school starts up again (a month..sigh). It's driving me crazy trying to justify a huge plot hole where everyone decides they make one of the characters go on a semi-fairy tale journey to provve himself as worthy. tongue

I do write fanfiction. A lot of it, actually. Right now I'm most active in the Prototype and Thunder Cats 2011 'verse.

I write for smaller fandoms, I guess, although I'd love to jump into the larger fandoms for a while.

I'm also an avid roleplayer, so I get my kicks off in that, too. I write original fiction, too, and most of my fanfics don't see the light of day, though. They hide in my hotmail draft boxes, emailed only to my friends for shits n' giggles.

Because they're that bad.
