This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here

- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Hi, I'd like to correct a namespace (Kuroshitsuji to Black Butler) on the Sex Slave article that has been locked. I would also like to add two examples. Would it be possible to temporarily unlock the article long enough for me to do so? Thanks.

We don't unlock the articles to allow people to edit them. Just post what you want done here and a mod will do it.
It looks done to here except for the Nightmare Fuel entries on Heartwarming.Mass Effect. I was under the impression it was okay to wick an audience reaction on an audience reaction page.

I have an edit request for Mass Effect 3. On the "Marauder Shields" example for Ensemble Dark Horse, the image linked with the words "We must" is broken because an Access Key address was left in the link. Try fixing it by deleting the latter half of the link, that is, everything after ".jpg", which should remove the Access Key part and allow us the image link to work again.
According to the wick page, Let's Play has a High Octane Nightmare Fuel wick (or wicks) that need to be switched to regular ol' Nightmare Fuel.
And at least one High Octane to Nightmare Fuel for the Tear Jerker part of the Mass Effect page. And the Fridge Brilliance Mass Effect page as well.
Actually, you might just want to go through all the Mass Effect pages just in case.

I have an edit request for the Metal Gear page; could we remove all the bullet points for Hot Coldman, as over at the cleanup thread we came to a 2-to-1 decision that he qualified as a Well Intetioned Extremist (even if he was a massive asshole) and didn't fully meet the criteria, since his actions in game are partially motivated by the idea that Mutally Assured Destruction wouldn't actually work (that if one side, in this instance the Soviets, launched a nuclear strike the Americans wouldn't retaliate, because humans are incapable of taking an action that would result inhuman extinction).
While on the same page, could you also change the start of the entry on the Patriots that starts with "On the topic of the A Is, the A Is of the Patriots are most likely even worse than the founders themselves." to "If it turns out that artificial intelligence in this setting can act on its own volition, the Patriot A.I.s are more monsterous than the founders themselves.' From the same discussion this was the agreed upon compromise, as there was no conclusive proof that the A.I.s were acting outside of what they were programmed to do.

Yeah, it may not seem like a big deal - when it comes to namespace changes. But it certainly can be, when it comes to trope name changes - or changes in trope definition, as in the case of Nightmare Fuel.
