This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Done. I'd changed the name on the work page; didn't pay attention to the actual place you were directing. In the future, please make sure to link to the actual page where the entry is and make sure the wick works...I was about to tell you I couldn't find it until I remembered that that page was subpaged.
Minor thing; on Base Breaker, could you please add "Not to be confused with Broken Base." after "See also Contested Sequel which is sometimes a result of Base Breaker characters."? It would be quite helpful.
Not really an edit request on a particular page, but it would be nice if we could have a link to this page on locked pages, both to streamline accessing this place and to make it more well-known to newer tropers.
The "edit" button on every locked page is replaced with a link to Locked Pages, which does link back to this thread.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.On Wick Namespace Migration, please edit the "Merlin" entry in the complex section to the following:
- Merlin - Myth/, Literature/, Series/1998 or Series/2008 (Main/ is a disambiguation page)
Please remove the following examples from Administrivia.Wick Namespace Migration
Please remove one of the * from Main.CSI Miami once the Main.CSI wick is removed.
I hope I'm doing this right. I'd like to request that this be added to the Green Eyes page:

- The Whateley family of all have vivid green eyes, thanks to a combination of magical influence and massive amounts of inbreeding. To go along with the green eyes, all Whateleys have powerful magic, especially BloodMagic.
Thanks!
Edit: And apparently I messed up the formatting. Let's hope this de-wikifies it. Edit2: Successfully de-wikified, but now it's not showing the spacing correctly. Hopefully that fixed it.

Did the edit requests on these two pages.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCould you please change Merlin in the discription on the Horny Devils page to Myth/Merlin

Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need SummarySure.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Characters.American Mc Gees Alice remove the closing square bracket from "where his] wonderland" fragment of the page.
Just the point that reverted edit was actually okay (not the first time I see this, it might be some evolution on the part of banhammer-wielders-know-who; yet NemuruMaeNi must've got another of those peculiar private messages), if pale compared to troublesome aspects of the page (like excessive spoilers).
In Creator Pages In Main, please remove Laurence Yep.
"But... nobody told me I needed a signature!"Done and done.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPlease add this to the Dragonball Xenoverse ymmv page and the videogame monster page:
- Dragonball Xenoverse: Demon god Demigra was imprisoned in a crack in time by The supreme kai of time. To free himself, he sends out an image capable of acting on the physical plane to cause chaos and distort time. One of the timelines has him brainwashing Piccolo into trying to kill Goten and Trunks. Another has him trying to brainwash Beerus into destroying Earth. After his release, he plans to destroy the universe and reshape it so everything revolves around him.
Minor correction for the page quote on Sonic the Hedgehog: The line "I don't see one sir..." should be "I don't see a heart, sir..."
I would like the Hollywood Atheist entry on https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/OriginalLife?from=Main.OriginalLife removed because I do not think the example is valid. The character in question is a preteen who simply notes that she is having trouble finding reasons to believe in any of the major religions, having not been raised in a religious family.
She has none of the characteristic Hollywood Atheist attitudes and is actively exploring the spiritual backgrounds of her friends, finding them genuinely unconvincing. And while the arguments for spirituality presented to her are very unimaginative(in the sense that the author put no apparent thought into them except as jokes), that in and of itself is not an example of the trope.

Please remove the following from Administrivia.Wick Namespace Migration:
Please remove Main.Cowboy Bebop as well.
At Anime And Manga S To Z, for Sengoku Basara, please replace Oda's entry with that at Sengoku Basara. I just added a couple of potholes.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsThe page for The Fountainhead needs some help. There are two tropes which start with the article "A" that are improperly alphabetized under A, and there are several tropes in both the main list and the list for the 1949 movie that are Trivia or YMMV.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to note that the movie was directed by King Vidor.
Running tally:
Dragon Ball Xenoverse entry is added.
Fixed the Monster.Sonic The Hedgehog quote.
Deleted the atheism entry from Original Life; check the discussion page.
Whew, the wick cleaning is progressing fast ... removed entries from Wick Namespace Migration.
Changed the Sengoku Basara CM entry.
Cleaned The Fountainhead; some moved entries are ZCE though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think the speeding up of the Namespace Migration may have to do (Ironically) with the recent locking to keep out You-Know-Who from vandalism.
