This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

"But... nobody told me I needed a signature!"The Bible - can we change this section
"David Versus Goliath: The Trope Namer. Goliath was a heavily armored soldier who stood 3 meters tall and terrified all the Israelites. David, the youngest son of his father and a lowly shepherd, rejected all armor and beat him with just a slingshot."
As explained earlier in the page, David used a sling, not a slingshot - can we change the word, thanks.
Chekhov's Gunman have been voted to be a No Real Life Examples Please page because it requires a narrative to work.
I think this was posted earlier, but, I would like to nominate the following examples be added to the Tabletop Games section on the Horny Devils page:
- Pathfinder retains the traditional demonic Succubi, who are "formed from the souls of particularly lustful and rapacious evil mortals".
- Erinyes also appear on the devil's side, but have lost this angle, instead adhering to their mythological inspiration as pursuers of vengeance and bloody justice. The bestiary specifically notes that they lack the subtlety and patience to be seducers. The first "Book of the Damned" notes that they detest mortals and the closest they come to such intimacies is letting those beguiled by their beauty approach before attacking them.
- The divs have their own take on this with the Pairaka, who embodies "the corruptive nature of unbridled lust". As a result, they are not only beautiful and seductive fiends, but also Plague Masters, who infect those who succumb to their charms with diseases like the shakes and bubonic plague.
- The daemonic equivalent of the succubus, introduced in the third Book of the Damned sourcebook, is the Erodaemon, who embodies death by heartbreak. They approach mortals and insinuate themselves into their victim's life, and then bring their victim's life crashing down around them, until they are so overwhelmed by grief that they kill themselves. They break apart marriages, kill children or cause them to leave their families, destroy reputations, extinguish faith, curdle family ties, and bit by bit savor the slow disintegration of their victims’ emotional well-being and consequent physical deterioration.
Requesting to edit Final Fantasy VII to correct the page's Example Indentation.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Didn't remove Squick because I am not aware of any kill order on its wicks, nor of any discussion pointing to such.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPlease remove MOD from Useful Notes Pages In Main; it has been moved to UsefulNotes.MOD
Both requests are done.

I just knew you'd do that other request before I finished this one, which is why I used a new post instead of editing the old one.

I was going to add a bit to the Dorothy Parker page noting that she was one of the screenwriters for the Alfred Hitchcock film Saboteur, but the Dorothy Parker page is locked for some reason. Would it be possible to add "and co-writing the screenplay to Alfred Hitchcock film Saboteur" at the end of the entry? And is Dorothy Parker somehow controversial?
Per Example Indentation in Trope Lists, using a single second-level bullet is always incorrect indentation.
No, she's not controversial, her page was one of the many targets for repeated vandalism by A Very, Very Stupid Person.

Can this be added to Teen Titans please?
- Kid Hero All Grown-Up: A darker, more pessimistic variation comes from the episode "How Long Is Forever?". Starfire pursues a time-traveling villain 20 years into the future, where she finds that, shortly after she disappeared, the other Teen Titans disbanded and went their own separate ways. In this future, Cyborg is stuck hooked up to Titans Tower's power supply, Beast Boy is balding, overweight and has a miserable job as a one-man zoo, Raven is in a mental asylum, and Robin has taken on a new identity, Nightwing. Near the end of the episode, however, all the Titans band together again to defeat the villain, and Starfire returns back to her time.
btw, why is that page locked?
Done; I moved Caprica down in the list on Wick Namespace Migration
