This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here

- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Reading tropes such as You Know What You Did
A couple of edits for YMMV on Mass Effect 3.
- Game-Breaker: Shockwave can clear a room of most enemies, and properly built up a competent player can survive multiple waves on gold singlehandedly by spamming this attack and not having to worry about cooldowns.
- Combat drones are a minor case especially when built up to use Chain Lightning. They distract enemies, causing them to focus their attention away from you, and when [[Elite Mooks Guardians do this the drones become a gift from god.
And a couple for the main page.
- Artificial Brilliance: Rocket soldiers, in particular, will time their shots to hit just as you duck out from cover. If you are particularly entrenched and Grenade Spam doesn't work the enemy will gang up and rush you.
- Grenade Spam: As well as normal grenades, Centurions have smoke grenade spam, using two or three at a time to block your vision, in between throwing normal grenades. Rinse and repeat when the smoke clears as many times as they take to die, it could be three or four cycles. That's at least twenty four grenades they're carrying, a single soldier.

Troll needs an unlock.
Reason: During the Trope Repair discussion (search it, it should be in the zzzz archived topics IIRC), the general consensus was that both Troll and The Gad Fly needed a retool since there was much confusion/misuse issues. An unlock is nessecary in order to enact the trope repairs (would a mod kindly engage those repairs).
The Gad Fly was to be reworked to reflect someone who screws with people's heads and gets reactions out of them for harmless amusement whether in life or on the internet (think Poke the Poodle style internet trolls). Examples: Konata Izumi or Mion Sonozaki The Troll on the other hand was about manipulating people's feelings and emotions for purely malicious reasons related to a scheme or not whether in life or on the internet. Examples: Terumi and Bernkastel.
A few issues.
First, the Fast One decided otherwise. His site, his rules.
Second, you want the 'Unlock a locked page' thread in Wiki Talk.
