Ensign Leigh Sabio finally got the career of her dreams, transferred to the bridge of the greatest starship in known space—the USS Tropesia! She expected the ship to be concerned with maintaining diplomatic relations with other federations, but how could she have known how difficult relations aboard the ship would be?! Captain William is the man of her dreams, but why would he ever notice her? Besides, she harbors a secret desire to hook him up with First Officer Nornagest! Yet said officer starts taking an interest in her unusually logical mode of thinking...and then Doctor Miijhal starts making oblique and unexpected hints during the physical. "What a magnificent specimen, you are..." To the ire and excitement of Aondeug, who's just started a fellowship under Miijhal.

But these are the legendary figures she's heard about all her life! Don't forget that she's now spending virtually all of her time immersed in the company of her fellow crew members, from different species and cultures! Like up-and-coming artificial intelligence specialist Tzetze—whom she runs into in the middle of one of his eccentric attempts to observe sentient behavior to improve his skills, causing him to act strangely when they're assigned to work in the same division of engineering aboard the ship. Science Officer Katrika mocks her logical and restrained approach, yet they become fast friends—coming into conflict only over Captain William!

Tune in to find out what happens when Leigh has to deal with conflicting values, both cultural and military, a shapeshifter who she finds extremely attractive in one form only, and of course, Negative Space Wedgies and freakin' terrorists taking over the ship!

Dear god this is taking me forever. I've started to get some ideas and I'll probably post sometime between tomorrow and the day following, but current details spoilered below.

Current idea takes references from Popn Music, In The Groove, Mega Man, Audiosurf, and bits of Jet Set Radio.

Planned sidequest notes: ROM-eo and Juli8 quest

Planned characters: William Wide Web and Furiko Maru are protags. Also deals with slight bits of the butterfly effect- one small event can change things completely. EX. If Furiko stops buying items at a shop, the shop goes out of business and William loses access to it as well as his Infinity +1 Sword. If William focuses his romantic choices on Miijhal, then Outta The BLAM will betray him later and Furiko will lose her Infinity Plus One Party Member, Madeof Meat.

Mm, lemme think... a couple people see pictures of Furiko Maru online and (independently) decide that they must have her. After some thought, they all come to the same conclusion - they must take the identities of characters from Lupin III and woo her.

After their first attempt, in which Furiko confronts and rejects a dozen Lupins at once, they meet and come up with a deal. They all are randomly assigned a character to emulate, and go at her that way.

I don't know enough about Lupin III to assign characters or come up with an ending, though. I like the idea of whoever Lupin is to be a scumbag who got there by trickery and lies to Furiko, though.

Well, now that I've found this...

I'll be writing a new plotline altogether, the last one I was writing just turned out bad and I scrapped it. Though I'm keeping the basis of it.

List of characters thus far- anybody who wanted in on the last one, speak up now.

Tzetze was just another sorta weird guy on the Internet with fascination with the weird. One day, however, while doing his usual browsing, clicking his usual links, and stumbled upon a brand new repository of macabre link. Overjoyed, he didn't even notice his computer glowing...

Tzetze eyes flickered open, unable to recall why he had been out, or more importantly, why he was stuck to the ceiling. Looking around, the first thing he noticed was a large pod right below him. Starting to gather his wits about him, he was just about to faint when the pod burst open...revealing a creature remarkably simailar to a human female...except for the four crab-like legs that made up her lower half. About ready to die of fright, Tzetze was not at all prepared for his face being sucked on by her rather large mouth sucker.

Now, with this and other female beings from the hidden depths of our world vying for his attention, Tzetze must handle the affection of 5 creatures utterly alien to human society, whilst also trying to survive the attention it brings from those who would rather such things be kept hidden.

^^ I'd watch it, at least.

Kando Fumiko (inevitably nicknamed Tofu by every student she's ever taught) has just decided that this year's exchange student is... odd.

It's not that Zach Sheen is particularly handsome, or particularly ugly, or an outstanding student, or a talented athlete. Aside from being foreign, he's perfectly normal, if a little quiet.

Except that every girl in his class is in love with him.

And the local private detectives seem very interested in his comings and goings.

And no one seems to remember who the student he was exchanged for was. Or what happened to any of the other students who have been exchanged...

Furiko Maru is an average girl, when one day here life is turned upside down when she is transported to a comic universe where all of her favorite comic characters reside. While they consider her dead weight initially (due to her lack of super powers and tendency to talk too much), they begin getting overprotective over her, eventually leading to fighting over her. Wolverine wins, cause, I dunno, it's fricken Wolverine, but they later part ways in some sort of hyper-dramatic fashion to increase sales.

Nah, it's always been in shaky health. Poor little guy.

Lupin drives Blackmoon and Furiko out to a fancy restaurant in a limo, only for a demonically-possessed Aondeug to crash in on the party pining for Moonie's attentions. And Furiko's, for that matter.

Wow. People are STILL on this? o.o (Attention Defecit Creator Disorder) Uh... I'll come back to this at some point.

Tofu is a famous pseudonymous author of romance novels, despite still being a teenager. Unfortunately, she had to transfer out of her last school after a supposed confidant leaked her secret, and she was constantly mobbed. Now boarding at her new school, will she be able to figure out who likes her for her books and who likes her for her heart?!

Tzetze has, for some reason or another, attracted everyone in the .hack universe.
