The Hero is a Mary Sue
Exactly What It Says On The Tin
“How long has it been? 23 days?”There are so many instances of this one simple trope concentrated within a single work that it leaves audiences with a bitter taste in their mouths, especially since this was a summer blockbuster that most everyone saw.
Special Effect Failure runs rampant in a film.

I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Everyone who has it is an idiot (and, furthermore, unamusing).

The truth can oft be more misleading... I'm driven by greed, guilt, rage, and despair, but I'll never try to justify haughtiness. The dialogue reeks of Narm, and it's obvious they're both holding back.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..The show become more and more fanservicey, and still try to take itself seriously, with every serious situations turning into Narm because of dem buxom, in the end, the show become a prime Snark Bait and Deader Than Disco since the fan service get downright creepy and the show still try to pass itself as serious.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.The heroes end up looking like monsters for going all out on weaker opponents
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..It's used constantly in a film, even when it would make little to no sense.

Dick Thunderquake can basically use a water gun to extinguish a star if he's motivated but his refusal to take action, flat characterization, flanderization into a guy who's incapable of even moving facial muscles and his repeated Deus Ex Machina made him rather hated, not to mention that every character keep saying how great he is even when he does nothing for several episodes and treat them like garbage.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.He ends up making all of other heroes look like idiots, losing their credibility.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..The rescue takes more lives than the captive is worth.

The character is made to be too edgy and is pushed forward as cool, not to mention that he gets a ridiculous backstory and origins. He also get multiple powers thanks to his mix and can Ass Pull his way out of most scenarios, while acting like a complete jerk.
Determinator
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.The character is a Determinator when it's stupid to be, like when fighting clearly stronger opponents, taking on things he shouldn't, and diving into a 50 foot deep dive,
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..The villain takes the most direct route to all his targets by simply smashing through everything in his path and that's his entire gimmick.
The shark suffers from Special Effect Failure.

It ends up being Pink and Black all over, ruining the effect.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..The villain is so kind, polite and honorable that the heroes looks like jerkasses, not to mention that it makes every atrocity of the villain rather bizarre compared to his acts.
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad. They are all Mary Sue OCs and the Villain is an obvious metaphor for someone like Donald Trump.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane. He's pretty useless, every character has to save him, he does not evolve and, overall, remains a Flat Character who remains in the background. He starts at point A and by the time the story finish, he's still at point A.
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Because of the villian's "tourtured past" the author uses it to excuse any crimes they commit. And in the end the villain becomes a Karma Houdini and has Happy Ending without having to atone.

In spite of its cool factor, it ambles about being useless and gets taken out easily.
Basically make it so bad that it will be a Genre-Killer for the trope.
The first one is the quintessential trope, The Hero.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..
