Sight Gag is a redirect to Visual Pun. However, in the real world, its definition is broader, and within TV Tropes this redirect seems to be used for the broader definition:

I think this may do better redirecting to a broader trope, but I'm not sure what that would be or if it even exists.

I think this question is better off in YKTTW. Creating new tropes (even on titles that as-is are redirects) is YKTTW work.
