Alright so Pan decided to do something a little bit different here by doing an installment on a movie he feels is "so bad it's good", Abduction starring Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins. It's uh...well it's pretty damn stupid, it was rushed in when the Twilight franchise was still super popular to capitalize on Lautner's rising star power and features an idiotic plot where he plays some guy who finds out he looks vaguely similar to an aged up what if photo of an abducted kid and it turns out to be part of some conspiracy between the CIA and Russia, yadayadayada. It's dumb. Super dumb. Pan's review, on the other hand, is probably the funniest one he's done in a while. Not to say he's been less funny lately but this vid had me laughing a lot more than his past couple for some reason.
Oh and Nick Nocturne from Night Mind lends his voice for a gag at around the 18 minute mark of the vid. Love that guy.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Bump.
And here's a Top 10 countdown, this one focusing on the worst animated songs.
Number 10: Coconut by the Baha Men from Chalk Zone. The Baha Men are jokes and all but I think Pan didn't seem to pay attention to the song being a cover of Harry Nilsson's original.
Number 9: Any rap song in a cartoon, especially any with the phrase "My name is X and I'm here to say". Apparently that dates all the way back to a Chiquita Banana commercial.
Number 8: Music from the animated Super Mario Bros. shows, specifically citing not too good covers of licensed music, generic replacement music used on repeats and rereleases, and original songs sung by the Koopa Kids in later episodes.
Number 7: Some kind of...I don't know, some kind of bad rap song sung by the Human Torch in the 90's Fantastic Four cartoon. I never knew this existed and this feels horrifying. It was bad enough to get its own spot all to itself.
Number 6: The original music numbers from Sonic Underground. Fun fact: the guy doing the singing voice for Sonic is the same guy who voiced Double D.
Number 5: The music from the shitty CGI Donkey Kong cartoon. Ye gods, there's a lot of fucking video game cartoons with bad songs.
Number 4: The cover of Rapper's Delight from Kangaroo Jack that was advertised constantly for the film even though it's only like two minutes of the actual thing. Even though this is live action, Pan's counting it because it involves animation, but I kinda disagree with him putting it on there.
Number 3: One of the musical numbers from 8 Crazy Nights that involves a lot of advertisements showing up in a scene that's supposed to be the main character finally changing his ways or something. This being an Adam Sandler movie, of course there's gonna be blatant product placement.
Number 2: That one time on The Simpsons where they opened up by lipsynching to Tik Tok by Kesha.
Number 1: Those ring tones from the 2000's with animated music videos you had to text to get on your phone, but were kinda scam-ish. This includes Crazy Frog, Gummi Bear, and apparently some strange, bizarre one called...Crazy Butt. I...I've got nothing...
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?4 and 5 seem like weird choices, as in the case of 4 it's not from a cartoon so it really has no place on the list. As for 5, well, make of the lyrics what you want, but the actor playing DK could actually sing really well, so I feel that that offsets the music somewhat from being really bad, into a So Bad, It's Good kind of song.
Wanst even aware of the first one though. I never before wanted to know where Crazy Frog came from, and I am worse off now than I was before I knew.
5 probably should have been reserved for Diddy's singing voice than the cartoon as a whole, since... yeah, DK's singing voice can redeem most of the songs (or at least mark them as memes) while Diddy's is worse than forks on a ceramic plate.
And Pan admitted he was skirting the line with 4 and only put it on the list because he felt that cheated by it as a kid.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThose ringtone commercials/songs are actually a guilty pleasure of mine. I found the original upload of Crazy Butt, and it's just a parody of such commercials. But it was so accurate, I thought it was real at first too.
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."So it's not actually a legitimate thing and Pan got himself bamboozled, I'm guessing?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Pan talks about more recent toons!
- 1. Big Mouth: Thought it was too gross for his liking.
- 2. DEVILMAN crybaby: On Slice of Life mode, it looks unfinished, but it works when it gets into the surreal imagery, which is what got him to stick around. He thinks it's okay, but he feels like he's seen a lot of the stuff it shows beforehand. Like how John Carter inspired a lot of things, but when the movie came out, everyone complained about how they've seen stuff like that already.
- 3. Castlevania (2017): Looks great and loves the action, even if it's big on dialogue and short on episodes and has blood in places it probably shouldn't. Hopes season 2 will keep the quality up.
- 4.
Our Cartoon PresidentPSYCH! It's actually Pop Team Epic: Finds it to be a mixed bag on account of how it's a variety show and there will be sketches to like and dislike. - 5. Happy!: He's a big fan of the guys who made this show, so let's let him gush about it. Calls it Crank meets Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

1. Big Mouth: Thought it was too gross for his liking.
You are weak, Pan. WEAK.
I mean, it's a show about underage kids going through puberty, yeah? Pan makes jokes about being a pervert but he's got limits when it comes to underage characters.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I find it weird he used the Subbed version of Devilman, but the Dubbed version of Pop Team Epic...

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Yeah, I thought that was weird too, at least the "using subbed version of Devilman" part.
On today's video, we have Pan discussing the infamously horrible Jonah Hill production Allen Gregory. Pan's opinion of the series is that it's terrible and deserves to be forgotten, the characters are too unsympathetic and annoying to be funny even as jerks, and that the series was essentially dead on arrival straight from the beginning. Personally I feel like this is one of Pan's weaker videos but his behind the scenes insight into it is as always fairly interesting.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?'Member Woody Woodpecker?
Well...I 'member.
And so does Pan! Because he's done a review on the recent Woody Woodpecker movie!
(I also 'member when Eek! The Cat co-creator (and main voice actor) Bill Kopp was announcing he'd do an animated Woody movie with Illumination Entertainment, but obviously someone over there vouched for more Minions. ...Or maybe it was just creative differences that didn't involve Minions. Sigh...)

After seeing that Lynch clip, now I want a Lynch directed/written Woody Woodpecker movie.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I legitimately thought this was some kind of fake You Tube trailer when I first heard a goddamned Woody Woodpecker movie was being made. As it turns out, it's not, it's real, and good god Detective Carlton Lassiter, what the hell did they do to you after Psych ended? Is this why Timothy Omundson wasn't in that much of the Psych TV movie, was he busy filming this shitfest?
I didn't even grow up with Woody Woodpecker that much but this looks like it took every bad thing from the Chipmunks movies and distilled it into something even worse and more annoying.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I know about him being on Galavant (still need to watch that), was just saying that, unless I'm missing something, he might have been filming that damned Woody Woodpecker movie at around the time they were filming the Psych TV movie from last year. He's only in like 10 minutes of that. God that was such a disappointing event...
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Omundson had got a stroke shortly before the production of the Psych movie started: https://twitter.com/Omundson/status/865391939268386817
Just a person. He/him....ouch. Poor guy. At least he made it through.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?So was I the only one who thought Pan was serious about the girlfriend dying (keep in mind that I hadn't even heard of this movie until now).
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? No, I kind of thought it was legit for a while too.
Same here, actually. Dunno, the movie looked so bad and seemed to make Woody so unsympathetic that I would genuinely have believed he'd outright kill someone in the movie.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Bump
So today's video is on Disney XD's DXP block that focuses on video game related programming. It's...a mixed bag. It ranges from just kinda posting 30 second compilation bits of let's plays, Attack of the Show-lite review programming, shitty game shows, a genuinely good documentary type series called Waypoint Presents, and something called E-Sports that he doesn't really like.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Pan talks about another 3 failed animated pilots!
- 1. [adult swim]'s Penguins Behind Bars
- 2. Dyna-Mice by Butch Hartman
- 3. Song in the Sky by YouTuber UniversalHeat
Also, you might be asking "3? Doesn't he do 5?" Here's the thing, he's kind of getting health scares again, so he's taking a load off.
In his words:
I'll be back in a month or so. I couldn't make this vid a Top 5 because my medical problems started acting up. Made a fully edited video every 2 weeks for the past 4 years non stop. I'm not editing as fast as before or drawing as much. Need a break. I don't wanna just pump out shitty slide shows. I wanna keep up the quality.
Wish him peace and quiet, guys.
Speaking of which, I came across this one really weird Christmas Special that I remember seeing once on CN, and it looks like something Pan would review next year. It's called Noel Noel:
