Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Based on the PM conversation, that is exactly what I would do.
Also, two more Main/ pages:
- Adults Can Do Whatever They Want: Somewhat disjointed trope page with no indexing.
- Cinco De Mayo: Useful Notes? Anyhow, in wrong namespace.
Adults Can Do Whatever They Want is more than disjointed. The examples don't seem to indicate any particular commonality and the whole thing is badly organized.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSeems like a potential cut candidate there.
Today's worklist:
- Junk Jack: Stub article; creator messaged.
Launched way too early, and bad variety of examples and short description.
"Adults" needs booting to YKTTW. And the description could use broadening if it stays; "I'm an adult" is how I justify eating ice cream at midnight. Also the examples issues pointed out.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettSeems like we are in agreement, then. That said, one procedural issue: How do we send something back to YKTTW when no one's come forward to babysit it? Do we just cut and ask the launcher to run it through YKTTW if they want to restore it? That's the only way I can think of, and I would like to have input there.
Anyhow, another worklist:
- Cousin Vinyl: Only two examples; creator messaged.
- Hillbilly Moonshiner: Needs crosswicking.
- The Mysterious Mr. Enter: No examples; creator messaged.
Adults Can Do Whatever They Want: Agree with the cutting.
Regarding handling tropes which we vote "send to YKTTW", I see two ways of handling it. One is to PM the creator and leave it up to them to restore it into YKTTW if they want to, and the other is to copy the content into a YKTTW and post it with and Up For Grabs tag. I don't really care either way.
Cinco De Mayo: It's certainly not a trope. I could see moving it to Useful Notes.
Cinco De Mayo: It's certainly not a trope. I could see moving it to Useful Notes.
Only if you cut all the tropes supposedly associated with the holiday. None of those tropes are actually about Cinco De Mayo, originate from Cinco De Mayo, or are named by Cinco De Mayo. Also, things like The American Civil War aren't even tropes anyway.
Clearly whoever made the page needs a lesson on what things are Useful Notes and how to make them.

Agree with Nocturna on handling YKTT Ws.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett'kay, seems like there is approval for either tossing it in YKTTW with Up for Grabs or messaging the original editor. I'll probably follow the latter route if no disagreements occur.
Cinco De Mayo seems to suffer from the "Useful Notes page treated like a work" issue. I have doubts that a celebration necessarily qualifies as a work.
Anyhow, today's worklist:
- Ben 10 Alien Vampire: desdendelle did some work on it, but it has only one example.
- Buddy Complex: Not enough examples and unreleased work; I've moved it to Sandbox/.
- The Hanging Ten Saga: I feel this still hasn't got enough examples.
- Nobunagun: Not enough examples and unreleased work; I've moved it to Sandbox/.
I agree with Nocturna and Candi on YKTT Ws.
Speaking of which, have we requested Adults Can Do Whatever They Want go back yet? If not, count me as another vote for sending it back.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. Not yet, I see. Also, it seems that on top of the issues mentioned the page was launched with only one hat after only three days.
Two other stubby work pages; creators have been messaged:
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAdults Can Do Whatever They Want has been cutlisted and the creator messaged. By the way, I sometimes wonder what the cutmasters think of the long, bullet pointed cut requests...
Anyhow, another worklist:
- I Don't Even Game: Three examples, two of which Zero Context. Creator messaged.
- Play for Today: Only one example; creator messaged.
Adults Can Do Whatever They Want: Has a stockphrase name. Also has 1 hat.
Food Eats You: Has a bad name and 1 hat.

Food Eats You: That's bad. Isn't there a trope covering that already? (I think.)
It also has a case of at least some of the examples being 'This show has this trope', with the food type included. But no explanation of do they, within the material, actually eat anyone. An Informed Ability would at least be a subversion, I think, and someone who doesn't know the media would not know what was going on.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI just got a private message. I'd like it sent back to YKTTW for reworking please. Sorry about this, it's the first time working with this wiki area, and I'm still not used to it.
He's referring to Adults Can Do Whatever They Want, in case anyone's wondering.
@Harem-author: You should probably ask on Ask The Tropers for an unlaunch.
Anyhow, a new worklist:
- American Hustle: Only two examples; creator messaged.
- Demon Aid: Exampleless page; creator messaged.
Food Eats You: Another one with potential, but which needs to go back to YKTTW for polishing.
In defense of Food Eats You, it's also an example of the OP being let down by the YKTTW process—relatively little participation and advice led to a premature launch.
Personally, I think it's in borderline shape. The name's cheeky and humorous, and fits the trope.
I also seem to recall that we have some form of Food Eats You already.
If we don't, though, I don't have a problem with the name. It's pretty clear.

OK, I see I didn't comment to Food Eats You. Now, I am not aware of any other trope it could overlap; never encountered one. The biggest problem I see is the lack of Crosswicking - I don't think any of that warrants an unlaunch.
Also, today has another worklist:
- Atlantis: Only two examples; creator messaged.
- Smoke: Only Zero Context Examples; creator messaged.
Cross-posting from ATT, We Shadows is a stub with barely a description, and only two tropes. This is a comic that regularly gets in the top ten on Topwebcomics, and is by a guy well known in the voice acting industry, so you'd think it'd get/warrant at least a better page...
Supermarket Skit: No history, which either means it's old and hasn't been touched since the history was purged, or it was made wholecloth without YKTTW. Either way, one examples, and it hasn't been touched.

Needs a description of what the game is about, that ZCE filled out, and moved to the right namespace. If no one fixes, maybe move to sandbox and message the creator.
