Yes
Because people aren't allowed to be late unless they've got a good reason.
Choose a teacher for one magic type.
Blue Pacific, signing off...Would getting lost on their way there count as a good reason?
deathpigeon: Could you let me know if your character's at the ceremony or not? I can't continue without knowing.

...Sure, she is... *Sighs.* And I had the perfect entrance for her planned... It was going to be an excellent Establishing Character Moment too!
Blue, I'll need to know the right colour for Necromancy.
I meant for the rune, not the paint.

I'm going with dark blue paint for Gretchen...
Actually, perhaps I could just say that the runes change colour, and then the teacher says what it means, but not go into details. That way I don't have to wait for you to tell me what colour the rune is each time.
You know what? That's fine.

Is the school dean taken?
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Well, an Aca-dean-y would be fun.

Also, can someone explain to me what a dean is?

So, Speedchesser, could you make it so the Spell Circle is placed on him, and then let me show what happens next with the color?
For me, I think I knocked it down to this, which would you all want more?
- The dean of student affairs and his beautiful first year daughter, Maya. The Dean is more a professional type, and is in charge of the school's security and dealing with the troublemakers. His daughter is The Ingenue, and is quite smart, she was one of those kids who take high school classes in middle school, or in this case taking a few classes in this school while still in middle school. Previous years should have met her. But boys beware if you want to romance her.
- A pair of twins, one a teen genuis teacher and the other a street Smart girl. The smart twin doesn't teach any magic classes, but teaches some of the academic classes in the school (like math), and this is her first year teaching. The Street Smart sister has a amazing pryomancy talent, despite having no real training in it. It's this reason plus her sister is what got her in. Both twins should be foils to eachother, and expect a Twin Swtich or two over the story, and they'd be water and fire mages respectively. Both sisters are single, if you like that twin thing.
- A ninja from japan, sent to learn more magic to bring back to her ninja family, as she is the most magically gifted of her family. Shy Blue-Haired Girl (who has pink hair) and a no slouch when it comes to being a ninja. Has been homeschooled for all her life, under her father (It was harsh). She learned normal stuff and the art of ninjutsu (along with her family's ninja magic) and is able to push her body to it's physical peak. She may be there for other reasons that only the plot master knows of, if he's interested in that. More of a otaku and a gamer then she lets on. Doesn't really have many friends, and especially no friends here. she's specialize in light magic.
- Anita "of the frost", a cryomage prodigy who lives in Israel. Despite being 17, she has quite the past. Has spent most of her time studying her magic, honing it and refining it to an artform like her father. To the public, she hides the fact that her father is a mercenary and one of the most powerful cryomages on the planet. Mostly because she hates him(or maybe the fact that he was never there for her might have something to do with it). Unless it's about Cryomancy (something both of them have a grand love for), Anita refuses to get along with him.. Her likes are Cyromancy, mostly. Secretly she loves Japanese animation, and maybe a few other things. If you manage to make friends with her, she can warm up to you. (to note, Anita isn't evil, neither is her father. She's more Neutral Good, he's True Neutral..)
- Fantasia, A slight Dark Skinned Blond who wants to be a magical girl one day. Electric magic is her forte, and her father is a televison reporter who works for one of the big networks. She's always bright and cheery, seeing the world as if it was a magical girl show. She once summoned a phantom / AM-ian - like entity when experimenting with summoning magic, and "totally fell in love with him" and "took him home" naming him Galaxy. He is always with Fantasia, halfway as a pet, and by her father to keep her safe, and incase of her asthmatic attacks. She hides the fact that she's an Ill Girl, and most probably won't live past 25, if she's lucky. She knows her time in this world is limited.
- A european innocent nobel girl. Archer and a bit of a "she thinks she knows more then you". She wants to become a master of all the elements and help her country win the war. Spoiled Sweet, but does have that sense of entitlement, and isn't all too happy that she now loses much of it moving to such a place, but if the others, and her servants could do it, so can a noble's daughter right? Doesn't really know how the world works, being raised from the effects of war and living the lap of luxury, and not really knowing what it isn't. You know what's coming.
so, which of these ladies would you like to play with?

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act....That last one sounds a bit too similar to my character...
After readingyours, I'm not exactly sure. For one, their personalites are mirrored to eachother. That and she's still a partg of her nation
Sorry forf quickpost, at wrk
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Ah, I see. Might work.
I like the Magical Girl idea...
You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My TumblrPersonally, I like them all. Too much, so I did this.
It's kinda fun how all my characters can be a Universal-Adaptor Cast. It really is. Though Anita is kinda new though.
Also, the Rolling updates have finally ended and that's the whole version of them all.
And thank you. Fantasia's suppose to be a heroine of her own story (so is the ninja girl and the street smart sister).
^_^
DP- Your Gretchen would definity be a foil to my noble. They share similar backstories, but both have gone in radically different directions. One for the good and one for worse. Bonus points if they're on the same side, and the noble's family had something to do with Gretchen's family's downfall. They may be enemies at first, labeling her a deserter.
Gahh...I can't decide.
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Ooooh, sounds interesting. Also, there is so much for me to work with, especially given something about my character I've already decided, but haven't bothered, and won't, tell anyone about, though I've already dropped hints.
And for the rest of them too.
And also, I do wonder what that plot twist is. Ahh, character creation is so much fun sometimes, isn't it?
And for everyone else, who do you vote for?
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.I vote for the noble.
Blue, could you post some narration now that the initiation ceremony is done?
Wait, so am I still given the teacher in charge of the initiation ceremony if everyone gets one?
