This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

I don't think the Einstein quote really fits with any of them, Future Primitive included.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpAye, it only belongs on a hypothetical "society and technology regress in the wake of a world war" trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanActually, you're right, I wasn't reading Future Primitive very carefully.
Could go on Scavenger World — it's a good quote, seems a shame not to find a home for it.

Yahtzee again. No way that the idea of franchises the original creator no longer cares about applies to Telltale Games any more. This quote I'm guessing was made around the time of Sam and Max and Monkey Island, but not later ones. (In fact, Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman worked on Tales of Monkey Island too going by Wikipedia, so it's still pretty dire and tenuous, ugh.)
The Walking Dead and Fables are ongoing comic series written by a single man. Wallace and Gromit had a short film out a couple of months before Grand Adventures (and a feature film out a few years earlier). In fact, Nick Park is credited as a designer. Jurassic Park IV has been in Development Hell for donkey's years, so there's still clearly interest. I don't even watch Game of Thrones or read the books it's based on, but it goes without saying the franchise is still cared for by its creator.
Oh and another thing, the creators of Homestar Runner WROTE AND ACTED IN Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.
...and if that's actually an oblique roundabout way of bashing these franchises as Franchise Zombies or insinuating the creators sold their souls, then that's still no excuse to have it there.

...which quote?
Creator.Telltale Games. Sorry, thought I made it clear from the post.

Although not perhaps the most neutral stance to take, this ain't Wikipedia so NPOV isn't an issue.
Seriously, though, my dislike of internet Caustic Critics aside I say just zap the quote from Telltale Games. It doesn't really work without the context of the potholes, and those shouldn't be there in a page quote anyway.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpFighteer directed me here from Trope Talk (sorry, thought that was the right place to bring this up- my apologies).
Anyway, I saw recently the quote on the Bait the Dog page had been changed, as far as I can tell without discussion.
The current quote doesn't really fit the trope- it's basically a deconstruction of Pet the Dog, which despite the similar name is quite different.
While it's kind of long, I'd suggest the Bryan Fuller quote on the Quotes Page for the trope (the Tarantino one isn't bad either, but I think the Fuller is better as it doesn't require someone reading the quote to know the work).

Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikiBait the Dog: I agree with going to the Fuller quote about Hannibal.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I'm not sure that Telltale Games quote is as critical as you seem to think. It implies they're a bit naive, perhaps, but it's hardly a damning insult to say they're keeping niche genres alive. (Especially since I'm given to understand Yahtzee loves him some point-and-click.)
On the other hand, if it's actually inaccurate, then it should go.
Thanks.
Edit, edit, edit, edit the wiki^^ It's not that the quote is critical, but that a) it comes from a Caustic Critic whose importance is overrated, and b) without the potholes there's not a lot of context for the quote.
That it's not even accurate, as noted by others, is icing on the proverbial cake.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpAs I've said in the past, I'm in favor of removing critic quotes even when they aren't excessively negative, because we just have too many of them.
"They're simultaneously trying to keep alive ... every conceivable franchise that the original creator doesn't care about and which could always bleed out a few more pennies"
I'm sorry, but even taking into account the only game of theirs I've played is Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, this is either outdated, plain wrong, or irrationally sequelphobic.
Do the last lines of Cable & Deadpool issue #1 sound like a good quote for the series' page?
Deadpool: So, is this going to be, like, a testosterone thing?
Cable: Probably, yes...it is...

Quite frankly, I think that quote stinks. Any better options?
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettFor now, I've put the Family Guy quote in for World War Whatever, but feel free to propose alternatives. I'm beginning to think the Einstein one is good for World War III, actually — the real point of the quote is "World War III is going to be apocalyptic", after all.
That leaves Future Primitive. How about:
->“The too-perfect security of the Upper-worlders had led them to a slow movement of degeneration, a general dwindling in size, strength, and intelligence.” —>— HG Wells, The Time Machine

That works nicely.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettOther thoughts on the Bait the Dog page?
Can I go ahead and add the Hannibal quote?
Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikiI agree with the Hannibal quote as well.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettBBC Quarry has two quotes. I have a strong preference for the first one.
Oh God, yes. Second one is awful.
Heel Face Mole has a quote I'm not sure fits the trope.
Permission to nuke the quote on What Happened to the Mouse? I stripped out the potholes and it still stinks.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettWhat happened to the mouse? — you've got my vote for dumping it. It's not even really an example; it's not that the boys are dropped or abandoned mid story with no explanation. It's that particular arc is resolved as far as the protagonist goes, and the story moves on with him. Fridge Horror, maybe, but not ...Mouse?.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
OK, here's a doozy. Try and guess before looking which famous quote is used on:
...and several other quote pages. Oh, and it's a Beam Me Up, Scotty! to begin with.
I think it's best suited to Future Primitive (there's a second quote on that page, but it's not good).
World War Whatever
How about:
Lois: Peter, what exactly are you worried is gonna happen because of this?
Peter: World War V.
Lois: Peter we've been over this...there has to be a World War III and IV first.
Peter: Oh no-oh no, that's the beauty of World War V, Lois. It's so intense it skips over the other two.
—Family Guy
No idea about World War III though.
