This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like the the quote from A Moment of Peace; it is a dark and interesting way to convey a distant future After the End.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Quieter Than Silence has a quote just credited as anonymous; should that be removed?
Also, the Fallout quote; it captures the quote most efficiently.

Went back for that Archer quote, and after some ruminating I'm not sure it's a good fit anymore.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?^^ I don't understand why it would be.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I wasn't sure if quotes without credit were allowed or not, so I figured I'd ask.
A Moment of Peace is an elegant way to speak of it, but I think Fallout 3 wins for being more clear and more succinct.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. You guys do know that the Fallout 3 quote was put on the page a while back, right?
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Happy Dance has two quotes. Keep the top one?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportTop one seems like the better option to me.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Top one.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I've seen the quote on WesternAnimation.Rick And Morty change twice since I started watching the show, and I don't think the current one works as a summary of the show as a whole. The other ones I saw used include the last lines of episode #1, which has since moved to the top of Quotes.Rick And Morty, and this short gag from an episode I can't identify for now:
I think including the next few lines sort of communicates the tone of the show:

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Found this on Bonus Boss
Isn't this for Brutal Bonus Level? It's more about the dungeon than the boss itself. Also Bonus Boss don't always have to be for a dungeon so this is inaccurate.
^ Agreed that it sounds like Brutal Bonus Level
Lenny Bruce has two quotes. I'd go with the first one, by him.
I concur with keeping the first quote on Lenny Bruce.
Cherubic Choir and Creepy Children Singing have the same page quote, just quoted slightly differently. I think it's more fitting for Creepy Children Singing.
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.^^^^ First one is fine.
Issue: Dystopian Edict will soon receive an [1]◊ image per IP suggestion thread. Problem is that the message of the image is the opposite of what the trope quote says. While both are valid examples, I would try to avoid irritating users with such contradictions. The quote is actually an example of the subtrope Happiness Is Mandatory which already has a good quote. The one other quote from the quotes page doesn't impress me. I would rather remove the current quote for the sake of harmony on that page. Thoughts?
Personally, I feel the fact that they send opposite messages is a positive as contradictory directives are rather commonplace in Dystopias. It just gives the page a more appropriate feel.
It bothers me not at all if the image and the quote are contradictory examples, since the trope covers both. Making them match could lead people who don't carefully read the whole description to think that it's specifically that particular rule.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Having two pages with the same quote is definitely a bad thing. I agree that the current quote seems better on Creepy Children Singing. Anyone have a suggestion for an alternative for Cherubic Choir?
Agree with the last two posters. The image and the quote showing differing (even conflicting) aspects of the trope is a good thing.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Spiritual Successor has two page quotes, so I was wondering which one would fit better on the main page. I'm partial to the Cracked quote since it encapsulates the trope better, but the Henson Company quote is more to the point. Thoughts?
My vote is for the Cracked quote.

What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Watching Season 7, Episode 5 of Archer on Netflix and I think I've found a good quote for Love Dodecahedron. Need to write the thing out, though (it's long), unless somebody knows of a wiki with the script.
