Undertale is a pretty obvious choice. Pretty seriously blown out of proportion, but I still like it.

What's a well loved work that you just can't find yourself liking?

If it also extends to music...

I just can't bring myself to enjoy K-Pop and the works of Maher Zain. There are... uncomfortable subconscious memories attached to those.

don't shoot me now, Bea

Do you like either of those works I mentioned?

[up][up] Attack on Titan. Sorry, but having humanity ignore a genuine threat to its own existence for 100 years doesn't exactly make me root for them.

I've never been afraid of many natural disasters, due to the fact that they don't happen all that much over here on the East Coast of America, but I'm quite scared of Earthquakes. They do a lot of damage.

Were you ever scared of anything that wasn't intended to be creepy?

I'm only scared by things not intended to be creepy. Adult Fear exists as a trope for a damn good reason. Creepy is for the young and gullible. Aside from your more easily distilled Adult Fear, sometimes a work really hits close to home with a harsh, plausible situation and gets me that way.

Pokémon! Nobody Can Die, powers/abilities never kill either even though Mundane Utility is absolutely practical, and... I'll let this speak for the rest of me.

  • Granted, I've since outgrown this franchise, but to live in it with every fiber of my being is an entirely different matter.

The inverse: which fictional world/universe would you not to live inside, and why?

There are a crapton of worlds that are crappy to live in. But ANY of Taro Yoko 's works. HOLY. CRAP.

Let's see... In Drakengard, there are monsters everywhere, our hero is a freaking sociopath, and the dragon he rides hates humans. Nie R is the series I declare the worst, however.

A medieval post-apocalyptic environment where humans are going extinct because of the Shades and the Black Scrawl, which is uncurable. Oh, and it turns out every human is actually dead. The humans in the game are Replicants, replicas of the remaining humans.

And don't get me STARTED on the supplementary material... Let's see. Human experimentation, sickness, millions dying, and freaking fates WORSE than death.

Weirdest world to live in?

[up] She has a hood, if that counts.

Most of the characters in my gallery are ones I like, but you can't help but wonder how problematic wearing a heavily-bundled kimono in the summer would be like. Sure, Frostina already has bad circulation, and she is a Yuki-onna Youkai, but geez, that getup would be bad during the summer.

Well, I do like the classic RPG-7. I never handled one obviously (and God forbid if I have to), but it has a very distinct profile and a wide variety of ammunition. Most other RPGs are boring-looking tubes with very specific purposes, which makes them less interesting in my eyes.

If we're talking about the other kind of RPG, then it's Fallout: New Vegas. The story and atmosphere are just so good that I'm willing to overlook the glitches and horrible gunplay. Of course, there are mods to fix those, which takes the game from "pretty good" to "bloody amazing".

Not really, at all. I don't get sick very often, to be frank. I can get the common cold or fever, but it's rare that I am actively sick to the point where I have to stay home. I haven't vomited in a few years.

Do you ever get colds at the beginning of Spring or Winter?
