Officially revealed January 25th 2016, The Lost Boys, or often refered to as thelostboys, is a group of let's players from the disbanded (?) mega group The Expansion Pak. It's like a mix of Wii Rike to Pray with (most) of them living in the same place (although the WRTP doesn't do that anymore) and The Runaway Guys, but they are also going to film short comedic skits. The boys are SullyPwns, ZeldaMaster, MunchingOrange, and JohneAwesome. Their first comedy skit
was a parody of The Force Awakens. No new skits have been released yet.- Accidental Innuendo: Invoked when Luke was going to think up a name for the group and the others tell him it sounds wrong, rather than Luke himself realizing it, not even when the others told him. More info bellow.
- The Ace: Mo manages to get first in Super Mario 3D World, a lot. He's also the only one of them that can talk without going full angrish while playing Super Mario Maker.
- Absent-Minded Professor: Johne sometimes acts like one, coming with facts at unrelated times, some of which are lies.
- Affectionate Parody: Their The Force Awakens skit with Mo as Rey, Luke as Finn, Sully as Kylo Ren, and Johne as Luke.
- Ambiguously Bi/Mistaken for Gay: Luke claims he's not gay when asked on twitter, yet he called Fierce Deity Link sexy in a video, but he really likes Peach, Lana, Midna, and other female characters a lot. He might be biromantic rather than bisexual though.
- Angrish: most of the commentary in the Super Mario Maker videos is this.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Johne getting silent usually means "Let's Get Dangerous!".
- Big Brother Instinct: Luke will sometimes be protective of Johne like an older brother would. Also like a brother, does he put the blame on Johne when he himself does something wrong, much to Johne's dismay.
- Butt-Monkey: Johne, when he's aware he pulls a good Luigi impression.
- Chromatic Arrangement: Blue for Johne (despite his favorite color being red), red for Mo, yellow for Luke, and green for Sully, although they don't exactly follow it very often other than showing who's playing the single player game at the moment.
- Cloudcuckoolander: All 4 of them. Especially Luke who even sounds like he's daydreaming in his own videos.
- Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: Mo and Johne for Luke, Mo had to scream at Luke for him to notice the fire.
- Conservation of Ninjutsu: Johne beats Meowser all by himself after the others used the remaining few lives and died due to carelessness.
- Consummate Liar: Johne is accused of being this by the others and himself.
- Deadpan Snarker: Johne, but the others also got their moments.
- Department of Redundancy Department: One of Sully's insults is 'You sucking sucker'.
- The Ditz: Johne sees himself as this, he's more of a Genius Ditz.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": Johne got upset when Mo called him "John" and said "Do not call me my birth given name" with a really angry tone of voice, with Johne mostly being a Unreliable Narrator and good voice actor is it unknown how serious he really was, and the others tried to joke about the way he said it. But judging by their nervous voices he might have been real angry.
- Expecting Someone Taller: Closest trope, many expected Johne to be black until they saw him for the first time, he's white, white as a piece of paper, as he himself puts it.
- Inverted with Luke who looks kinda short in his update videos but is actually one of the tallest.
- Expy: Subverted, the other boys thought Mo was an expy The Annoying Orange until they befriended him.
- Johne sees his hair, or atleast the hairstyle he had as a kid, as an expy of Harry Potter's.
- Fake Nationality: Invoked when Mo calls himself Orenji-senpai and the others call him out on not actually being Japanese (He's Puerto-Rican).
- Four Token Band: They're all different, so when Luke thought about what the team should call themselves in the The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures LP on his channel, he said Four Skins. The others were quick to point out how wrong it sounded.
- Genius Ditz: All 4 to some degree.
- The Gadfly: Luke, he admits he sometimes come with weird jokes just to see the others' reactions to it. Johne as well even though he deoesn't admit it as openly.
- Hypocritical Humor: Johne mentions that he hated it when people thought he was Harry Potter when he was a kid because he thought Harry was a nerd. The other boys quickly points out that Johne himself is a nerd.Johne: "Oh…"
- Insane Troll Logic:Luke: "Green is the best color, it's the color of friendship."
Johne: "No, red is is the best color, because look at the sun! It's red! And we live because of the sun, so red is the best color!"
Mo: "But without our moms we never would've been born!"
Johne: "You're right, mom is the best color. To all moms out there! You are the best color!" - Loving Bully: Sully mentions that a girl who bullied him later told him that she had a crush on him. Later he mentions a guy who usually messed up his hair and bullied him, and Johne jokes that the guy probably had a crush on him as well.
- Motor Mouth: Johne will often babble away.
- Mythology Gag: Some can't hear the difference in Luke and Johne's voices, and so Johne plays Luke in their first sketch. Also a way to make the first time many fans see his face as The Reveal.
- The Nicknamer: Johne is a mild example. He calls Sully "Boss".
- Occidental Otaku: All 4 to some degree, but they mostly say that Johne is the only one when he's not there.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Johne and Mo(MunchingOrange), but all 4 are called by their real names, John, Sully, Luke(ZeldaMaster), and Eriel at times as well. It's mostly Luke and Johne himself that calls him John, in turn Johne sometimes calls Luke; Lucas.
- Only Sane Man: Johne tries to be one, when he's not there; Mo. It's kinda ironic with Johne a huge Large Ham in his own videos, and Mo used to the farthest from it in the past, and Sully often acts like it to the game in his own videos.
- Padding: Invoked when the others claim that the friends Johne mentions are actually the same person and he adds more to the story as he goes along.
- Running Gag: MunchingOrange not getting the orange character, or even characters with similar colors. He even plays as Toad and Atlas in Super Mario 3D World and Portal 2 respectively both of which ironically are blue, the oposite color of orange.
- Scarf of Asskicking: Mo has a red one in his silouette in the channel trailer (as well as his portrait on his own channel).
- Screams Like a Little Girl: All 4 when they play Super Mario Maker.
- Serious Business: Zelda games for the Zelda Master, it's the only games he is serious about. He even claimed that he'd play Super Mario Maker more if he could only play with the Zelda sprites.
- Turns into Hypocritical Humor when Johne who laughed about Luke's obession went into pure fanboy mode when he found out one could play as Master Belch and got upset when the others didn't know who he was.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Luke's sensitive guy to Johne and probably the others' manly men.
- Stoic: Sully tries to be the dark, silent and mysterious boy, but due to his sense of humor, the group as a whole… does the whole act fall into the chasm of
Narm Charm. - Team Dad: Johne, he mentions sometimes in his own videos that he wishes he was a real dad so he had someone to tell his stupid dad jokes to. His somewhat shady Only Sane Man act reflects him somewhat being this for the boys.
- Team Mom: Mo, to a certain degree.
- Those Two Guys: Luke and Mo sometimes make videos on their own, mostly when Sully is with his girlfriend and Johne back in Florida.
- Trauma Button: Luke mentions being called "basketball head" is one for him as people had a tendency of trowing basketballs at him.
- Troll: According to Chris from WiiLikeToPlay is Sully one, he aparently once prank called to pretend being an elderly Indian man with a thick accent stuck in the toilet at an local McDonald's. When they didn't find him, he said that he had called the wrong one.
- Troubled, but Cute: All 4 have been bullied, and are adorable. Even though this has many girls complimented their looks.
- Unreliable Narrator: Played with.Johne: "There's really many truly fantastic PlayStation titles. Many of which, I'm sure have shaped all of our childhoods and changed us as people. And today we're gonna play Knack, which is terrible."
