     Season 1

Batman knew it wasn't real acid
  • We all know Batman's one rule, and it's shown in the episode that he saved Harley from dying via grenade. The world's greatest detective likely figured out it wasn't real - either from knowledge or experience.
    • While they're in the trap, Batman and Harley are in sealed balls. While they're probably not airtight, it might be hard to smell the liquid. Once Batman was released and landed on the covered vat, he probably smelled the margarita mix instantly and knew Harley was in very little danger.

At some point, either Harley or someone in her crew will prevent Dr. Psycho from using the c-word.
  • Sort of? He stopped himself halfway through it after Harley pointed it out

Kite Man and Poison Ivy will get together, or at least sleep together
  • Between Kite Man's trailer and the Ship Tease moments between them, it's looking possible.
    • Annnnnnd they did.

Harley is an Unreliable Narrator
  • We're watching the series from the perspective of a crazy person. That is why characters act like parodies of themselves.
    • Half-confirmed by way of Word of God. They don't outright say that things, as Harley sees, aren't real, but they do point out that she is crazy, and, thus, unreliable as a narrator...

Suicide Squad will be the name of Harley's crew
  • As seen by the shirts worn by Harley and others in the trailer of Episode 5 though it would get that name either from someone mocking them (most likely Joker) or Harley giving her crew that name despite people believing joining her crew would mean certain death being that Harley's Joker's ex-girlfriend.
    • Jossed. It turns out the Suicide Squad keeps asking her to join and sent the shirts in an attempt to convince her.

There will be a Running Gag of Catwoman doing Impossible Thefts
It is the only trait of hers with humorous potential besides catlike mannerisms, which has been done to death at this point.
  • Confirmed.

The Carpenter (Jenna Duffy) will show up
Perhaps to help build Harley a proper lair.
  • Jossed.

Harley's Crew will visit England
Doctor Psycho will drop the C Bomb again. And no one in England will care. Or in Australia, where "cunt" is punctuation and often a genuine compliment. Values Dissonance in a big way.

Harley's Arch-Enemy Candidates
The entire premise of "Finding Mr. Right" is about Harley trying to find a nemesis. While she fails to find a superhero that she can call her arch-nemesis, the ending of the episode hints that she might eventually gain one in the future. So that leaves the question of who will be Harley's Arch-Enemy. Listing off the possible candidates:
  • Huntress: She is a superhero that operates in Gotham and it would be a nice nod to the short-lived Birds of Prey (2002) where Harley was the Big Bad. Helena, often known for being a borderline Sociopathic Hero, will likely be one of the few heroes who will take Harley and her crew completely seriously to a comedic degree.
  • Red Hood: Another hero that operates in Gotham. The two might bond over their suffering at the hands of the Joker and have mutual respect for each other for wanting to be more than the Joker's ex-girlfriend (Harley) or the one Robin that Joker killed (Red Hood).
  • Power Girl: Well she and Harley did star in a comic miniseries together. She can either be a Friendly Enemy to Harley who empathizes with her desire to be taken seriously with Power Girl being annoyed at being identified by her buxom figure, or Harley might become the Kryptonian's nemesis due to her endless mocking of said breasts.
  • The Creeper: He is intended to be a Good Counterpart to the Joker and is another Gothamite. Plus he has been known to be a Stalker with a Crush towards Harley.
  • Nightwing: He's the former sidekick of Batman and Harley is the former sidekick of Joker. Seems very poetic.
  • Alan Scott: One of the few Gotham heroes not already listed
  • Frank: See below
  • Plastic Man: He was already made a Good Counterpart to Joker in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which also modified his origin story to him having been a former minion of Kite-Man....much like how Harley started as Joker's henchwoman before striking out on her own. This origin story would make him a perfect Shadow Archetype to Harley as a Butt-Monkey trying to make a name for himself as a superhero. Not only that but in recent years he's become DC's Alternate Company Equivalent to Deadpool, so he'd feel right at home in a Black Comedy show like Harley's. Bonus points if they have him wearing his old red-and-black Jack Cole costume, which is pretty much a male version of Harley's outfit.
  • Queen of Fables: Because who says a nemesis needs to be a hero and not another villain? Plus she has some beef with her after The Line.
  • The season 2 trailers seem to tease Batgirl as a possible nemesis candidate.
  • Tommy Tomorrow, as a Brick Joke
  • Ballistic (Real name Kelvin Mao): How could the showrunners pass up a character as obscure as him?

Frank will become an antagonist
Beyond his personality, he's become conspicuously absent of late. Maybe he's been inspired by Harley to set off on his own against his unappreciative boss?

Commissioner Gordon will join Harley's crew
This version seems close to snapping, which in comics almost always leads to becoming a supervillain. Considering how well he gets along with Clayface, joining the same team would make sense.
  • Jossed.

The three potential recruits shown by UTI will become relevant at some point
Likely as somebody else's henchmen

Ivy will have a wet dream of Kite Man. And when he takes off his mask he turns into Harley instead.

Giganta was not actually mind controlled
her choice of words certainly seems more like just an actual spouse fed up with their shitty husband rather than someone just regaining free will and being forced to love someone she doesn't, she just used "mind-controlled" to refer to the regular kind of manipulation into an unloving marriage, just for the pun

Catwoman is a Shipper on Deck for Harley and Ivy
She will encourage them to acknowledge their feelings in her trickster-y way, partly because she cares about her friends and partly to enjoy her own interactive romcom.

Kon-El will appear
He'll be a friend of Damian's instead of Jon Kent, who won't be present since Superman and Lois are still in the dating stage of their relationship. Is a show like this really going to miss out on poking fun at the fact Superman and Lex Luthor have a son together?

Harley's invite to the LoD was actually just a joint scheme between Joker and Luthor
Joker hated that Harley had developed a spine and left him, and Luthor hated that Ivy was a powerful wild card equally likely to blow up one of his factories for chemical dumping as she was to commit a traditional act of villainy. Paired up with each other Ivy and Harley were too much of a threat, so the entire LoD plot has been to neutralize them. Letting Bane take the minions was all part of the plot.
  • Furthermore, Joker lured Harley back into a relationship only to dump her again as a way to torture her but also so that their kiss (which only he could have filmed with a hidden camera in his helicopter) could be broadcast on TV to alienate her from her crew and Ivy. Meanwhile, Luthor created the ridiculously non-environmental friendly plant and its over-the-top commercial as a trap for Ivy, knowing she would attack it alone after getting mad at Harley. Bane might even have been ordered by Luthor to take Harley's crew for his next scheme (he didn't seem to need any of them). The result is that Ivy is captive and the one person in the world who might notice and try to rescue her is left without allies.
  • This might be Jossed as "Devil's Snare", given Joker blows up the Hall of Doom, his rant about why he's doing this states he's pissed about Harley being allowed in, and his working with the Queen of Fables.

Luthor's Villainous Breakdown will result in him screaming the C word at either Harley or Ivy.
This moment will be recorded and will result in him getting kicked off the LoD. Luthor tries to get on Harley's crew to save face, but only Doctor Psycho will tell him that they cannot condone his use of the C word, as it does not represent our brand of evil.

Ivy will bring up the fact she is sterile in a later ep.
Though considering that the show made two pregnancy-related jokes involving her, it is possible she might not be sterile here or she might be infertile which is different from being sterile.

Ivy won't stay dead.
1: Because, of course, she won't. 2: The fans and the press will lynch them if this DOES stick (Bury Your Gays and Stuffed in the Fridge, anyone?). And 3: Comics as recent as September 2019 (Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy #1) have confirmed that she can regrow her whole body from scraps and she was only impaled, so...
  • Confirmed

The show will end with Harley becoming a hero.
With all the shit that the supervillain community has put her through, she may eventually reach her breaking point and take the one job that involves beating up supervillains: A superhero.
  • And the episode ends with first showing all the (rescued) Justice League and Legion of Doom on screen all at once saying, "Oh, shit!", Then Ivy and Harley's crew and Kite Man say, "Hell, yeah!" together, but close with irising-in on Harley with a (hilariously) incredulous look while saying, "Whaaaaaaaaaat...?!"
    • Or vice versa, with Harley's pals doing an incredulous, " What?!" and Harley giving a smugly proud, "Hell yeah!"

The next season's plot will be a homage to Batman: No Man's Land.
Gotham has pretty well be destroyed at the end of the first season, by an earthquake, one of the disasters that kicked off the comic. Between how bad the city already was, the damage from the quake likely cutting off access to the outside world, and the loss of the Justice League, the US government will decide to just leave the city to its fate.

This means Harley and her crew will fight to take control of it.

Several characters will take a level in badass after Gotham's destruction
  • Jim Gordon finally breaks and takes over a section of Gotham along with the surviving police officers.
    • Jossed so very hard. All of the GCPD jumped ship and started working for Bane, his wife divorced him, and he currently lives in his daughter's dorm.
  • Joshua takes over his Uncle Oswald's criminal organization as the new Penguin.
    • This one's Jossed. Oswald is still the Penguin in multiple Season 2 teasers.
      • Although, Harley killed Oswald. Joshua now has a shot at becoming a second Penguin.

The cured Joker will be a walking parody of Batman: White Knight
He'll try to make a positive change in Gotham City, but will either be largely ineffectual or actually help, but still hinder Harley's crew.
  • Meanwhile, the relationship Jack had with Harley in that comic will be parodied or defied with Harley liking the cured Joker, but having far too many bad memories of him to pursue him romantically.
    • Jossed. Cured Joker not only has a mundane job as a bartender, but he also has a new girlfriend and Harley doesn't even consider befriending him.

The Joker's real name gets revealed finally...
But every time it's said out loud, it will always get bleeped. And when shown in writing, a black band or a blurring covers it.
  • I mean, it's been revealed before, but it's different in every continuity and sometimes not even consistent within one. He's been Jack Napier, Sonny (no last name given), Arthur Fleck, Jerome, AND Jeremiah Valeska ... it's not that the Joker's name is a big secret, it's that a big part of his schtick is Multiple-Choice Past. They wouldn't have to be coy about his "real" name because he might have a different one the next time we see him.
    • Jeez, fella! What I meant is that it could become a new running gag for next season. He repeatedly says it, and Harley and crew always react weirdly to it, but we viewers never get to hear it.
  • CONFIRMED in a way. Season 2 came and went with... a name never even getting spoken anywhere, even while Joker was "normal".

Kiteman is not long for this world.
They need to get rid of him somehow so Harley and Ivy can get together.
  • Harley and Ivy (or at least one of them) will be kidnapped, and Kiteman, in an attempt to have them rescued, will die in the process, most probably by their side.

Kiteman is sandbagging.
He's actually a powerful (but relatively unskilled) Aerokinetic. That kite of his couldn't lift one person, much less two, or three along with Clayface and King Shark unless he had superpowers.

Kiteman's character will be derailed to make way for Ivy getting with Harvey.
He'll suddenly turn into a massively abusive jackass.
  • Or instead of becoming a huge dick, his intelligence will take a huge plunge and Ivy will dump him out of disgust for his stupidity.
  • Neither seems too credible with the show's writing style, thus far. The biggest reason why Ivy might develop a problem with Kite Man is that he's too decent and accommodating, never saying "no" or calling her out on anything that isn't directly connected to their relationship. What might break them up could be him going along with some incredibly stupid or evil action that Ivy might do when she gets too emotional despite knowing that it's wrong, and for her to realize afterward that a good partner should have stopped her.

Kiteman is actually Lex Luthor toying with Ivy.
Either Lex himself for kicks or some clone/robot/replicant deal that Lex made.

Tawny Young is actually Mxyzsptlk.
The unusually crazy way the world of this series works is something he's doing for a laugh, specifically projecting Harley's utterly insane perspective on things into the real world (while leaving Ivy and Batman as straight men for the joke).

Mxyzsptlk recently binged The Venture Brothers.
And also caught a few episodes of Rick and Morty.

Lois Lane is Doctor Manhattan.
Still trying to make the world Dark and Edgier but accidentally tipped over into Black comedy.

Ivy won't break up with Kite-Man to get with Harley.
Instead of Kite-Man being a Romantic False Lead or Stuffed in the Fridge, Ivy will simply be a swinger. She and Harley are already non-monogamous in the comics.

     Season 2 theories

All theories on Batman's fate
It'd be all well and good if Batman is fine as Harley and Ivy assume he is since they don't see him after his Heroic Sacrifice, but he may not come out entirely unscathed...
  • He could become crippled, like in Knightfall, and someone else could take up the cowl while he recovers.
    • Confirmed, although Bane did it to him to negate his comeback.
  • He could be Jokerized and become the Batman who Laughs.
    • That one's Jossed. The jury's out on whether or not he's crippled, but he's found as Bruce Wayne in the season 2 premiere, looking normal.

The Riddler will be the Big Bad of season 2
Jossed. He's The Dragon with Dr. Psycho serving as the Big Bad.

Bruce Wayne/Batman will not appear until S2E09
Season 1 Episode 9 was when things started falling apart. How does a lawless wasteland fall apart? By an agent of order returning.
  • Jossed by episode 5

Nora will seek revenge on Harley's crew.
First, Mister Freeze's death creates a power vacuum for a cold-themed villain. Second, she was cured with her husband's blood, which can theoretically serve as a Superhuman Transfusion. Third, her parents ran a cryogenics lab in her new backstory, so Nora should have scientific knowledge on par with Victor's.

Nora will become Killer Frost and seek revenge on Harley and her crew for letting her husband die.

"All the Best Inmates Have Daddy Issues" will feature the Mad Hatter.
The episode title is clearly inspired by "All the Best People are Mad", a popular quote paraphrased from Lewis Carroll.

If/when the show runs out of comic book characters to kill off, the writers will send Harley to a parallel timeline where they're all still alive.
It's less overdone than time travel.

Riddler's next plan will involve impersonating as Kiteman.
By the time his chance arrives, his body should be developed enough to match with Kiteman. Riddler attempts to pose as him but essentially overdoes it by dumbing his impersonation down way too much for it to be believable, even for someone like Kiteman.

Ivy will cheat on Kiteman.
Her feelings and connection with Harley will eventually prove themselves as too powerful. At first, they'll try to hash that out and silence themselves, but it won't work, and closer to the end of the season, they will tell Kiteman the truth. He's going to claim that "it's okay" and he and Ivy can go on like this, being desperate to have anything for a marriage, but Ivy will see through that. She declares that this is not acceptable and he should not commit to someone who did him so wrong, and they break up.
  • Confirmed but not in the way described. During the bachelorette party, Harley and Ivy end up having sex. Ivy, in a fit of embarrassment, tells Harley not to tell anybody. However, Psycho finds out by reading Ivy's mind and reveals it to Kite Man. After their wedding is crashed by Gordon, Kite Man breaks up with Ivy while telling her that he was able to tell she didn't really want to marry him and was only forcing herself to. Ivy realizes that Kite Man is right.

Harley knows Bruce Wayne is Batman
She's known way back in You're a Damn Good Cop, Jim Gordon when the Wayne Tech device teleported her to the bat cave. She made the connection that Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same person through that. She doesn't tell this to anybody, not even Batman, because she doesn't really care.

Kiteman will break up with Ivy so that she can be with Harley guilt-free
At some point, Kiteman is going to realize that Ivy and Harley love each other and, in an I Want My Beloved to Be Happy moment, call off the wedding.

Post "New Gotham", Robin has been hanging out with Catwoman
Robin was last seen deciding to take up the mantle in Batman's absence, despite clearly being in over his head. During one attempt at crime fighting, he ran into Catwoman. She decided to stick close to the boy to make sure he didn't get killed, both because of her connection to his father and her secret affection for children. This new mutual-understanding-verging-on-friendship will confuse the hell out of Batman.

Joker will in the future cut a deal with Darkseid to invade the Earth
The show implies that some of Joker's evil is still there. But he has no goons and there is a lack of goons to recruit. Since Harley attacked Gotham with an army of Parademons, he will find the Mother Box that Harley stole, and probably left somewhere without thinking, then use it to tell Darkseid about how if he were to attack Earth, the Justice League wouldn't be there to stop him.

The Matt Hagen version of Clayface will appear
While the current Clayface (who is clearly Basil Karlo) is a depressing more inept version of himself from the comics, sacrificing his deadly force for comic relief, Hagen will appear showcasing the fully, lethal potential of being a Clayface.
  • Or under Psycho's influence, Clayface becomes a new persona with a backstory called Matt Hagen, and this alternate personality sticks while Psycho controls him.

What will emerge from that vat of chemicals won't be The Joker...
...but a "Harley Quinn" for Harley. As in, he'd be obsessed with becoming Harley's sidekick. Who knows, perhaps Harley will even call him "The Creeper"! We'll see the next ep!
  • Jossed.

Where have we heard that voice and that snark before
  • Red-haired misfit who had no or few friends in childhood and adolescence, who knows for a fact she's far more intelligent than anybody else in the room and learned to compensate for other peoples' failings through the power of snark and sarcasm. Poison Ivy will end up with a lot of obvious Shout-Out to establish a resonance with Daria Morgendorffer. The suspicion grows that she has a favored younger sister who will turn out to be a brainless beautiful dimwit...

The Cancer Ray didn't give Carl cancer
  • It's supposed to cure cancer. It either cured Carl's undiagnosed cancer or had no effect because he didn't have it.
  • It changed his birthdate to July.
  • It will eventually turn him into a crab.

     Season 3 theories

An encounter with Ivy's mom.
Ivy's dad was shown as a nightmare image in "Harley Quinn Highway" and she described him in "All the Best Inmates Have Daddy Issues". If there's a Season 3, Ivy's mom could be described and appear either in person or only in a flashback. Then the show could have Diane Pershing return and voice Mom.

Season 3 will introduce Clayface's "family"
Or rather the one that Clayface created for himself. Basil Karlo was originally much more vile and ruthless than his comic counterpart but somehow got separated into different beings representing an aspect of himself. That's why this Clayface is goofier and friendlier(as well as weaker) than usual, he isn't a whole being and represents Karlo's vanity and enthusiasm. The others are:
  • Matt Hagen, who embodies Clayface's anger and aggression.
  • Preston Payne, who represents his self-loathing and desire for love.
  • Sondra Fuller, the most competent, who represents cunning and ambition.
  • And Annie, who is the inner child and the most innocent and kind of the group.

Kite Man in Season 3.
He will move on from Ivy and his story will involve hanging around a specific character(s) and forming a platonic/romantic relationship, which will result in him becoming more mature.

Batman Beyond characters will make an appearance
It only makes sense, considering it's a direct sequel to the work that introduced Harley, Perhaps they will appear as kids, or there will be time travel involved and Harley gets to meet the Dee-Dee twins, resulting in either her frustration that her grandkids are obsessed with the Joker too or a running joke of her not realizing there her grandkids and potentially insulting their grandma without realizing
  • This cartoon is clearly not in the same continuity as the DC Animated Universe, though that wouldn't exactly mean that Batman Beyond characters can't appear as continuity cameos.

The Red Hood will be the season's Arc Villain
He'd start executing all of the criminals in Gotham, starting with the Joker. He'd assume that since Harley was once the Joker's sidekick, she'd be just as bad as him. Thematically, he'd make a good adversary for Harley, since she was once the Joker's sidekick who became more of an Anti-Hero, while Jason was once Batman's sidekick who became more villainous.
  • Just as the series found hilarity in the reality of Damian's age and size, laughs could come from Jason's means of (or lack of) financing, and the difficulties of being legally dead or something.

Harley will be Killed Off for Real this season
Either as a season finale for a fourth season sequel hook or a mid-season shakeup. Let's face it, Harley is far from being a genuinely good person for all the mass murders she's engaged in over the show. This would serve as a reminder that she'd eventually have to face the consequences of all the mass murders she's done in the show, along with all the other crimes. But her death won't necessarily be the end, as she'd be sent to the DCU's version of Hell with either Neron or Blaze ruling over the realm. And with her in Hell, she has to contend with all the villains that have died in the series, leading them to make their own Legion of Doom.

The Suicide Squad will appear, and Harley will keep refusing to join them.
However, Amanda Waller isn't one to be told no so many times.

Lucifer will make a cameo
Either like the above Killed Off for Real idea, Harley will meet Lucifer in Hell and suggest he take a vacation, or Lucifer will just happen around the background in one scene.

Death will make an appearance
As Death takes one day every hundred years to live as a mortal, she could take this one day while hanging out with Harley and be killed by the plot.

The rat will reappear throughout the season
After seeing its parents be crushed to death by the car, it will reappear in several episodes undergoing Training from Hell until the season finale where it becomes Ratman

The Music Meister is a separate but identically named supervillain from the Neil Patrick Harris Music Meister.
Basically, he's an otherwise unrelated artist who, akin to the Wu-Tang Clan and MF DOOM, derived his stage name from things he liked. In this case, he took his name from an existing supervillain. He just kept his handle after becoming a supervillain himself.

     Season 4 theories

Hugo Strange will be introduced.
When we last saw Bruce Wayne, he was arrested. We'll see him again in prison being introduced to the head psychiatrist: Professor Hugo Strange. Similar to his comic counterpart, he'll find out Bruce's secret identity as Batman and plan to expose it to the entire world. Harley, of course, will find out about this and scramble with the Batfam to stop him.
  • Jossed; while Hugo Strange was briefly mentioned once, he was never seen in the show. Likewise, Bruce Wayne managed to get himself out of prison in the season finale.

Red Hood will play a significant role.
Jason Todd and Harley's arcs are somewhat similar, in that they both started as murderous villains and slowly became a part of the Batfamily (once again, in Jason's case). Either Todd will show up to make this similarity more textual, or The Red Hood will become Harley's new alias somehow.
  • Alternative scenario with recent events. Rather than Jason Todd existing in this universe, this version's Barbara Gordon becomes a Composite Character and becomes Red Hood herself after Jumping Off the Slippery Slope following Nightwing's death.
  • Jossed on both accounts.

Darkseid will return to conquer Earth...
...just as he declared in Season 2. Even though he's a surprisingly affable benefactor to Harley Quinn, he's not known for bluffing. To stick with the humorous tone, the search for the Anti-Life Equation might lead Darkseid to one of the show's regular characters (the one who unknowingly has it).

Harley and Ivy will pay a visit to Music Meister for "couple therapy" of their own
Maybe not willingly, but still. Both ladies had a fair share of challenges (search for their identity, character development, death, and resurrection (in Ivy's case), being annoying to each other, being uncomfortable about their love for one another, etc.) - so it would make sense to have another humorous therapy session. Plus, it would be a great opportunity for Kaley Cuoco and Lake Bell to showcase their singing capabilities (or make their own spin on the "beautiful singer - awful vocalist" chemistry Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne had demonstrated previously).

Poison Ivy will undergo a Heel–Face Turn
Despite the separation from Harley at the end of Season 3, Ivy still assures her that she'll love her no matter what - even if it means that both of them take different allegiances. At first, Pamela will be okay with that change... but throughout the season, she'll start missing the good times she had with Harley. An inner conflict will be brewing within her, and she'll have the opportunity to reconsider her life choices. Ivy will realize that her life will be better if she gives up on being evil altogether - and decides to stick with Harley for the rest of her days.
  • They didn't split up though, they just decided to pursue their own passions whatever they may be.

The Joker didn't kill Nightwing.
In Metamorphosis, The Joker claims to the Legion of Doom that he killed Nightwing but Nightwing was found dead by Harley and Barbara all the way up in the mountains, away from Gotham City. With that in mind, Joker more likely just took credit for the kill to make a good reimpression with the Legion of Doom and make it easier to slither back into their ranks.
  • Confirmed. Barbara figures out he lied and announces it on Dr. Psycho's show while providing proof of why it couldn't have been Joker.

Bethany becomes Punchline
With Bethany undergoing a Face–Heel Turn in support of The Joker's return to evil, she also goes on to develop a clown uniform to become this work's version of Punchline.
  • Her children will become Joker Jr. and the Joker's Daughter respectively.

Harley killed Nightwing
She's been doing odd things while sleepwalking, which Alysia speculated was from repressing her villainous side. He was the most hostile member of the Bat Family to Harley, and he's found wearing one of Harley's friendship bracelets, which Harley was so insistent but he refused to wear. Harley also saw a doppelganger of herself after Joker claimed credit, which could be a hallucination or alter ego.
  • Confirmed as of "Potato-Based Cloning Incident".

Nightwing killed himself
He died in an accident that he caused.
  • Jossed.

There will be a tribute to Arleen Sorkin.
An episode will end with a message saying:In memory of Arleen Sorkin 1955-2023.
  • They indeed did it... but at the beginning of the Season 4 finale episode, not at the end.

Ra's al Ghul will be introduced
Talia is a character now, so it's only logical that her father appears at some point, especially since Nightwing is killed even though he can easily come Back from the Dead via the Lazarus Pit.

     Season 5 theories
Bruce Wayne will be Locked Out of the Loop about the Bat Family's breakup
  • Bruce was so focused on his prison DJ career that he had no idea that Nightwing died, Batgirl was shot and paralyzed, Robin was taken in by Talia, and that Wayne Enterprises had been absorbed by her company.

The reason Talia tells Ivy to "take the L" is that she plays the Long Game
  • Compared to Ivy whose attack on Lex is Revenge Before Reason, Talia is biding her time until Damian is in the proper position to be Gotham City's new overlord.

Lex is going to be tortured by Darkseid
  • Darkseid considers Superman to be a Worthy Opponent and has Steppenwolf bring Lex to him so he can punish him for the coward's way of defeating his enemy.

Ivy will repair Barbara's spine
  • Just as Ivy cured Nora's illness here (and repaired Selina's spine damage in Gotham), Barbara's spine and mobility will be restored thanks to Ivy. This makes Barbara very grateful and obligated to her. Leading to...

A DC/Gotham-City/Harley-Quinn version of Civil War becomes the season arc
  • Damian and the resurrected Nightwing are after Harley, with Batman still feeling obligated to her, and Barbara continuing to believe Harley's story that the potato-clone killed Nightwing, but with no evidence left of the clone's existence and the cloning machine destroyed with the LOD headquarters being a problem. Talia, Batman, and Veronica Cale are all after Ivy for destroying their corporations, with Barbara obligated to Ivy (see previous). And one of the pictures Harley took in the apocalyptic future Gotham, showing future-Damian and his frozen collection of heroes (including Batman) and villains, gets accidentally shown around and puts present-Damian in really deep shit with everybody.

Legacy villains will be introduced.
  • Various crime sprees with familiar gimmicks start popping up, along with rumors spreading about who might be causing them. At some point, Harley and maybe Joker get kidnapped by what seems like the Scarecrow and Mad Hatter, and they naturally are in disbelief at first, knowing that they died...only for them to step out of the shadows and be seen as completely different figures filling in the roles of their predecessors. They naturally scoff at them at first, even referring to them as "Legacies", claiming they're just wannabe posers who aren't fit to be like the original Rogues.

Red Hood will step in and help Nightwing cope with resurrection
  • Given that Jason Todd exists in Harley Quinn universe, it makes sense for him to finally join the action. With Nightwing being brought back to life thanks to the Lazarus Pit, the situation becomes all too relatable for Red Hood - Gotham Knights (2022)-esque banter will ensue.

Nightwing will become the Arkham Knight
  • Probably serving as a Whole-Plot Reference to Batman: Arkham Knight, Nightwing will become the supervillain Arkham Knight after he gets resurrected by Talia Al Ghul, where he will seek vengeance on Harley Quinn for killing him while becoming a Knight Templar obsessed with killing criminals. This could also make Nightwing a Composite Character to Jason Todd, who was the Arkham Knight in the video game.
