Who said Villain Songs can only be from official material? There are many great songs created by the fans, and here's a select few:
Crossovers
- In one of the Haunted Mansion and the Hatbox Ghost fanfics, the Hatbox Ghost (who isn't really a villain, but was quite an Anti-Villain in some stories) is granted by a parody of Scar's song, "Be Prepared", with new lyrics.
- An interesting example occurs in Chapter 2 of In Brightest Day. Right after gaining the Green Lantern Ring, Applejack is confronted by Ruby, Mitta, and a recently corrupted Granny Smith. During the fight the trio proceeds to sing "With Me" to further hammer in how hopeless her situation is and how she should just surrender. However, at certain points of the song Applejack sings her own lyrics during the fight, and eventually takes over the entire song near the end, having it pertain to the fact that she won't surrender as she successfully defeats the trio.
- This Simpsons version of Return of the Jedi features Emperor Burns, Darth Homer, and Moff Smitherrod (with a cameo by Richard Nixon's head) trying to turn Bart Simpwalker to the Dark Side by singing "The Dark Side Man Can," a parody of "The Garbage Man Can" song from the episode "Trash of the Titans", which was itself a parody of "The Candy Man" from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
- Since the second season of Total Drama Everything is based on World Tour, it should come as no surprise that the season's main villain, Poison Ivy, gets a solo to herself.
- The first is titled "Watch Out". In it, Ivy brags how she's not sorry for anything she's done during the game and how she's going all the way. This one was actually invoked by Chris.
- The second is called "Surprise". Here, Ivy sings that even with everyone against her, she has more surprises up her sleeve then they know.
- Sognic: Mall-tiverse of Madness: In the Intermission, Roter.exe sings his own version of "Oogie Boogie's Song" (since Oogie Boogie was already one of the main inspirations for the character.) This version rewrites the lyrics to explain Roter.exe's backstory and motivations, while also having him gloat about how he's preparing to kill his captives.
- The Hannah Montana/Wizards of Waverly Place crossover Second Chance features a cover of Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby" sung by a succubus towards Justin before she turns him into a girl
- Miracle of Sound gives us Joker's Song, based on his Arkham City incarnation. It mostly waxes lyrical about how he and Batman aren't so different.
- It's only written lyrics for now, but BEN gets a fan-made Major General Villain Song here, detailing his victory over Jadusable's sanity and promising the same fate for everyone following the story.
- "Draw Me Closer" features Sammy Lawrence as he praises and offers sacrifices to Bendy.
- Humble Shopkeeper has one of the characters declaring she wants a villain song to "underline [her] bad-ass-ery". It involves the line "I'll paint the moon red with his blood", a chorus of wolves and evil laughter. Since it takes place in a realistic setting, it's pretty much as weird as it sounds.
- A few songs have popped up in Calvin at Camp episodes, notably the movie parodies. To name some...
- "Destroy All That's in My Path", a parody of "Poor Unfortunate Souls", sung by the Volleyball of Terror.
- "Darkling", a parody of "Gaston", sung by the ghosts from Ghost Master.
- "Why Me/Double D Reprise", a parody of "Why Me" and "Prince Ali Reprise," sung by Bowser.
- "You'll Never Beat This Boss", a parody of "You're Only Second Rate," also sung by Bowser.
- "Go After Other Guys", a parody of "Kidnap the Sandy Claws", sung by the Kankers.
- From Chrono Trigger: The Musical -
- "Primitive Mountain", sung by a chorus of Reptites who boast about how they'll wipe out humanity and secure their dominance of Earth.
- "Zeal's Theme", where Queen Zeal sings about how she'll stop at nothing in pursuit of her goals while berating her daughter Schala for her doubts and sympathies.
- Lavos", a truly terrifying song where the namesake Eldritch Abomination sings about the death and destruction it's causing.
- Although calling him a villain wouldn't be entirely true, Kokichi Ouma of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony has "Cause I'm A Liar", featuring the Vocaloid Fukase.
- Anarchy, the Titan-God of Chaos, gets this as his introduction in Justice League: The Second Chance. The League is in a tense situation with a villain when Anarchy ambles in, singing Little Drops of Poison and letting the League and the audience know they are dealing with something completely different.
- "Kira", a Filk Song to the tune of Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
- Disney Villain Songs (Lydia the Bard) is a collection of What If? scenarios wherein different Disney Princesses (along with characters like Anastasia and Tinkerbell) turn villainous for various reasons. Many of these double as a Dark Reprise, though some are completely original compositions, such as Dolores' "Rule the Quiet" or Tink's "Fall Little Wendy Bird Fall".
- Despite being a Cute Clumsy Girl in canon, Princess Anna has three of her own for an alternate continuity where she is an Enfant Terrible :
- The first is not necessarily a new song in itself per se, but it is a horror remix of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?". While it of course has the same lyrics as the original, the distorted Voice of the Legion tone makes it this because it's not certain if it's the real Anna, or a malevolent entity pretending to be Anna and trying to manipulate Elsa for fun. Tumblr came up with an in-universe plot for that song, involving Anna dying from her accident at the beginning of the film and comes back as an undead wight who stalks Elsa.
- The other is a parody of the same song, called "Will You Help Me Hide a Body?". A longer adaption of a one-verse version, this song involves Anna becoming a serial killer, likely because of the accident messing with her head, and eventually killing her parents, implying that she plans to kill Elsa next. If the comments on the video are anything to go by, another song parody and a fanfic set in that continuity are set to follow.
- Another parody now released is a version of Let It Go called "Let Them Run", taking place after "Will You Help Me Hide a Body?". This one is much more blatant as a Villain Song, as not only does Anna rejoice over having only Elsa know of her murders all these years before killing her parents and Elsa soon after, but she also joyfully sings over the fact that she likes chasing after her victims and watching them uselessly run before she kills them.
- Keeping with the What Could Have Been in regards to the film, we now have "They Let Go", a villain song for Elsa, had the movie gone through with the plot of her being a redeemable villain.
- The only song in The Lion King Adventures was Hago's rendition of "You're Only Second Rate." Here it is.
- "Gangplank Galleon", a cover of Juno Songs' version, where King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew sing about how you can't hope to face his power.
- Return to Krocodile Isle: The bulk of the short consists of "Tip the Scales", where K. Rool sings about his comeback and intent to rally together his old minions and restart his war with Donkey Kong after ten years of absence. It also shows K. Rool's degraded mentality and increasingly frail grip on reality, due to the bitterness that's been eating at him ever since his original defeat.
- Dragon Ball Z Abridged:
- A surprisingly upbeat one for Cell. Despite the upbeat nature of the song, some of the lines still manage to be pretty terrifying.I love this power that I've found
Ate everyone in Ginger Town.
No remains when you look around. - And episode ends with "'P' is for Perfect" after Cell reaches his perfect form.
- A surprisingly upbeat one for Cell. Despite the upbeat nature of the song, some of the lines still manage to be pretty terrifying.
- DA Games has "It's Time To Die" for Springtrap, as well as "I'm The Purple Guy" for the child killer who became Springtrap, "Break My Mind" for the Nightmare Animatronics, and both Left Behind and Unfixable for the Funtimes
- TheLivingTombstone wrote a song from the viewpoint of the murderous animatronics.
- "Survive the Night" comes from the perspective of the animatronics as they mock the night guard and threaten to take him apart.
- "The Show Must Go On" features the animatronics gloating about how they killed a night guard and dismembered him, refusing to let his interference interrupt their "show".
- "Just Gold" comes from Golden Freddy's perspective, and features him mocking the night guard, gloating about the children who have died in the restuarant and how he likes to "break the mold".
- "Noticed", from the perspective of Foxy, detalis how he longs to recieve the same amount of attention as his cohorts, and how if he does not remain watched and noticed, he will force people to see him.
- "Purple", from the perspective of William Afton, details how, despite feeling remorse for h's crimes, he cannot seem to quench his violent urges and how his own mind will not let him stop.
- "Repair" features Ennard explaining Circus Baby's desires to leave the underground and be free, and now that she has been intigrated as a part of it, it will grant her her wishes by escaping inside the security guard.
- Downplayed with "Nothing Remains", where Henry Emily swears revenge on William Afton and to avenge his late daughter by any means necessary, including burning down the pizzaria.
- Black Gryph0n and Baasik (feat. The Living Tombstone and Kevin Foster) has "Stuck Inside" which describes William Afton's discovery of the animatronics acting "quirky" before his untimely death.
- Amazingly, it got remixed with The Real Slim Shady of all things.
- Bill Cipher has had a couple of fan-made villain songs:
- A Youtube artist named Madame Macabre made one called deCIPHER, in which Bill behaves charismatically while offering to make a deal.
- A "Stronger than You" parody made by a fan named Emery can be found here. Has a remastered version.
- A pretty awesome, Disney-style one was made for Dolores Umbridge.
- Striker has "Downhill Til I Die". In it, he brags about how nothing except death will stop him from laying his claim over Hell.
- Hivefled's Tumblr features some fan-created filks, including two from the Grand Highblood's point of view, to the tunes of Angelspit's As It Is In Heaven and The Decemberists' Odalisque.
- "Home Run", based on "The Moon Rises", which features the character Baseball behaving... differently ever since he Took a Level in Cynic in Season 2 Episode 12.
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: One Cartoonist's Dream: This video, in Japanese with English subtitles, gives the villains of each part of the series one, all to the tune of Disney songs. At the end, all of them team up somehow for a cracktastic take on "It's Our House Now".]
- Hito Nandes made one for Evolt called "Black Hole", detailed his ultimate goals and how he's been manipulating everything to his own ends.
- "Vs. Marx". Unlike his canon counterpart, Marx is depicted as a sadistic psychopath who actively manipulated the sun and moon into fighting fully aware that it will cause major casualties.
- "Just 3 Days", sung from the point of view of Skull Kid.
- From the fan album "Songs of Time" (based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), there's a song sung by every boss (or miniboss in the case of the Forest Temple):
- The Poe Sisters dance around you with "Twisted".
- Volvagia complains that the Megaton Hammer is keeping him "Grounded".
- Morpha tells you you're "Drowning", which also references the Dark Link fight with the lyric "Can you face yourself?"
- Twinrova taunts you about how they've turned Nabooru into a mindless slave, a "Shell" of her former self.
- Bongo Bongo tries to convince you you're just like him even while he tries to kill you in "Hands of a Thief".
- And, of course, the final song on the album is Ganon's song, "The Evil King", whose lyrics mirror "Same Old Forest", Link's "I Want" Song that starts the album ("The same old bed in the same old house" vs. "The same old boy, the same old house"), while the verses' melody is taken from "Grounded" and the chorus' melody from "Shell".
- Tumblr user MeganPhntmGrl has recorded a villain song for [[ Loki]] circa The Avengers entitled "Bow to Me". It is, appropriately enough, based on "Der Letzte Tanz" from Elisabeth.
- The Protomen has "The Hounds" from Act II, a jazzy swing number where Dr. Wily gloats about having framed Dr. Light for murder as part of his plot to take over the world.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
- Many fan songs have been written for Discord.
- The extremely popular "Daddy Discord" is another, which also lets Screwball get in on the action. And how!
- Blame Canterlot!
- And now one for the Diamond Dogs.
- And a really good one about the cockatrice from Stare Master, in which he gloats about how much he loves taking ponies for granite. Until Fluttershy gets her hooves on him, of course.
- King Sombra does not get many fanmade Villain Songs because he is more like a force of nature than a proper character. However, "Crossing The Line" is very powerful and intimidating, fitting the evil king.
- Eurobeat Brony's "Batty" is one of these for Flutterbat.
- A pretty menacing one for Lord Tirek.
- Even Diamond Tiara has gotten one!
- Fandom VIPs BlackGryph0n and Baasik team up with MLP voice actress Michelle Creber to put together a delightful villain song called "Getting Stronger". Sung from the perspectives of Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek and King Sombra as a Big Bad Ensemble, it's exactly what it sounds like—the three villains have been defeated, but are biding their time for their inevitable returns, at which point, they intend to show the heroes just how much stronger they have become...
"I won't stop fighting 'cause I'm not done yet
You're gonna regret, this time I won't let you forget
You're not gonna get away this time
I'll strike when you're blind
You'll awake just to find you are mine!
You thought you won, thought the battle was over
But I (I) I (I) Keep getting stronger!
Enjoy your freedom, it won't last much longer
'Cause I (I) I (I) am just getting stronger!" - The majority of Carnival Cat vs Ponyville, a song centering around the title character's attack on Ponyville and her attempts to convince Big Macintosh to be her husband, for the Carnival Cat herself. The only parts not song by her are by the foals she's brought under her power and the Bearers facing off and defeating her with the Elements of Harmony.
- Of course, CRISIS: Equestria features Red Velvet—Pinkie Pie's Evil Counterpart—performing "Scream, Scream, Scream", a corruption of Pinkie's Smile Song that details Red's love of inspiring terror in ponies and general sadism.
- The evil twin gets a long one in Dusk's Dawn, which doubles as an Info Dump, when the De Noir's son goes into the library.
- Flames and Twilight has one for Chrysalis and some of her Changelings as they sang a parody of Under the Sea.
- Getting Back on Your Hooves has one for Checker Monarch called "Through My Eyes", an "I Am" Song detailing her worldview and manipulative mindset. It's also a Dark Reprise of Trixie's earlier song "Through New Eyes", fitting, as they're actually sisters.
- "Through My Eyes" gets a reprise in a later chapter, where Checker details her motives for trying to ruin Trixie. She's extremely self-centered, and has always been jealous whenever anypony (especially their father) paid more attention to Trixie then to her, so is determined to ruin her. In case you hadn't realized it yet, both versions of the song really sell the fact that she's a sociopath.
- She gets another song in chapter ten called "Checkmate" where, following her Villainous Breakdown, she declares that she's not finished with Trixie yet and will ruin her. It gets a reprise at the end of the chapter after she's successfully forced a Sadistic Choice on Trixie that leaves her with nothing.
- Her part of the group song "The World I Want To Live In" in chapter 11.
- Injustrial is a brony who makes aggrotech songs with a horrifyingly distorted growl, so songs written from the point of view of villains both canon and fanon are kind of his thing:
- "The Faceless Scourge", a nightmarish song for Chrysalis and the Changelings.
- "Watch In Awe", a song for a power-crazed Trixie wielding the Alicorn Amulet.
- "Pride And Fall", for Sunset Shimmer, which details her resentment against Princess Celestia and notes the parallels between her and Satan.
- "Electronic Devastation" is a What If? song for a Sweetie Bot Gone Horribly Wrong.
- "Obey": what if Princess Celestia was a horrible tyrant?
- "Shed.MP3" - for the completely psychotic Fluttershy as portrayed in PONY.MOV.
- Inner Demons incorporates Adam Lambart's "For Your Entertainment" as a villain song for the Face Heel Turned Sweetie Belle, who sings it as she's using her Magic Music to brainwash every stallion in Fillydelphia and sending them after the heroes.
- We give you "The Moon Rises", Nightmare Moon's Villain Song, a glorious achievement of brony music. She's gotten others as well, such as in this comic, where she sings a modified version of "Be Prepared" (and performed here).
- The same artist made this one (among others) for an Alicorn Amulet wielding Prince Blueblood.note
- "Trixie's Show" from the fanfic A Musical About a Musical lets the GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE get in on the action.
- Pony POV Series:
- Princess Gaia, Fluttershy's Superpowered Evil Side and the second Big Bad gets two. The first is a ponyified version of "Come Little Children" from Hocus Pocus and the second is a Dark Reprise of Fluttershy's "So Many Wonders" song, telling how her world is safe and perfect and no one will ever have to leave it... And will forget their old lives entirely. It also serves a purpose, as she's an Evil Diva who can trap ponies through song.
- Discord has gotten several. His father, Havoc got one called "Here's To Chaos" as well.
- Nightmare Mirror, Applejack's Alternate Universe Superpowered Evil Side eventually got one that details her motives.
- The same author also wrote one for Loneliness, Trixie's Enemy Within. See it here.
- This piece of Recursive Fanfiction gives one to Nightmare Granfalloon, Pinkie's potential Superpowered Evil Side. Fittingly, the song is basically a psychotic version of Pinkie's "Smile, Smile, Smile". While they didn't write the fanfic, the same person who wrote the above two also wrote this one.
- Said author has also recently written one for Strife, Discord's sister and the Final Boss of the "Generational Transitions" arc. It talks about how she will exterminate you and there's nothing you can do about it, but it also urges you to Do Not Go Gentle, and fight back so you can die with honor knowing you did everything you could to stop her.
- The Nameless Passenger sings a version of "What Once Was Mine" when she finally makes herself known called "Walking of the Endless Wheel". According to the song writer, it was intended to emphasize her status as a Fallen Hero and Dark Messiah by being a song that, in any other context, would be heroic but is made a Villain Song due to who's singing it.
- Earlier in "Off Da Rails" Dark World!Discord and Fluttercruel, in Sparkler's body, have one inspired by Joker's Song called "Disharmonious Duet" about the love of sadistic games both share though given The Reveal, Discord was likely only singing along for her sake.
- In the Shining Armor arc, Makarov gets one where he brags about how awesome he is and that he will soon conquer Equestria and force Princess Cadence to be his bride. Parodied because Shining Armor gets bored and stops paying attention halfway through, but the full song can be read here.
- Strife gets one in Bright Eyes' Gaiden story called "The Key to Survival in a Very Deadly World" based off "The Secret of Survival in a Very Nasty World" about how Bright Eyes (a filly at the time) has wondered into dangerous woods and if the coyotes chasing her kill her its simply nature's way. The "Villain" part is debatable because to the Personification of Natural Selection, that's exactly right, but it's still suitably menacing.
- Cruel Eyes/D___t's Shadow of Existence gets one in Part 6 of Bright Eyes' Gaiden as well in the form of a Dark Reprise of Bright Eyes' "In the Forest" song from My Little Pony Tales in an attempt to convince Bright Eyes she subconsciously wished for the apocalypse to happen, in an attempt to drive her over the Despair Event Horizon so he could consume her infant Concept and become real again.
- Chrysalis, being a diva (but not an Evil Diva), gets multiple songs throughout her Origins Episode and the Wedding Arc, including at least one variant of "This Day Aria" from canon.
- Umbra Breeze, one of the main villains of the Rumors Arc, gets a version of Terror Time about the grim dark hell hole he and his allies have twisted the world into. While he's not shown singing it, Word of God confirms it was him.
- In one episode of the noncanon "Pinkie Pie's Fourth-Wall Variety Show" (what amounts to a series of Just for Fun chapters composed of audience contributions to tide over while chapters are being worked on), a revived Hydia gets a version of "Wicked Ways" from 'Lion of Oz' while fighting Twilight and Shining Armor with an army of monsters. It's also referenced that Hydia had the original Villain Song in MLP.
- Secrets and Lies brings us "Everypony Ought to Be Afraid", a parody of "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid", courtesy of Topsy Turvy, gloating about the impending return of Discord while starting a riot in a mental hospital and attempting to drive Fluttershy to suicide.
- In Ponies and Dragons:
- Queen Chrysalis gets a version of "I'm the Bad Guy", gloating to Starlight Glimmer about how much worse she is than how Starlight was, and strongly refuting any suggestion she could be redeemed.
- She later gets a version of "My Lullaby" while preparing her endgame from the season 6 finale.
- The audio fanfic Princess Trixie Sparkle features several musical numbers, so naturally it has a few villain songs:
- "Revenge" is sung between Trixie and Astelle, Luna and Celestia's evil older sister. In it, Astelle tries to convince Trixie to team up with her and get her the Alicorn Amulet.
- "Confrontation", based on the Jekyll & Hyde song of the same name, is a duet between Luna and Astelle. Astelle tries to convince Luna to join her side and betray Celestia. It doesn't work.
- Subverted in The Stars Will Aid Their Escape. When Nyarlathotep's plans seem to have succeeded, he comments that he has the sudden urge to break into song... but decides not to indulge.
- "Gendo's Paradise", a Boastful Rap sung from the perspective of [[ Gendo Ikari]].
- "Blackwatch", sung from the point of view of Reaper, saying that Overwatch didn't have the guts to do what needs to be done, so it falls to the former members of Blackwatch, now Talon.
- About half of the songs in the Persona 4 Musical count as this, most for Shadows or for Adachi, Izanami and Ameno-Sagiri.
- Giovanni gets one to the tune of "Prince Ali" courtesy of a band of Team Rocket cosplayers.
- "Guzma", backed up by Team Skull, delivers a Boastful Rap about Team Skull's criminal activities.
- Geekender's Portal 2: The (Unauthorized) Musical has "I'm Alive" for GLaDOS and "Running the Whole Machine" for Wheatley.
- Wheatley gets one to the tune of Oogie Boogie's Villain Song, as shown here.
- DeviantArt user YourClairyGodmother rewrote "I'm The Bad Guy" for Nega Shantae. In it, she tells Shantae, Bolo and Risky that she is going to steal all the magic from the Genie realm to power herself up because she can. Here it is in all its glory.
- The Legend Of Spyro: A New Dawn:
- Cyros gets "Into The Great Unknown", which she uses to scare her brother Pyrus into aiding her Evil Plan. Later on, she gets "Let Your Secrets Out", where she uses her powers to cause Cynder and Ember's hidden feelings to come to the surface. She also gets a short spell later on that transfers Empress Tyrania's energy into a jewel she can use. Justified in that she is an egotistical music lover and a Evil Diva who uses songs to cast spells.
- Cyros gets one more during the Finale called "Welcome To Your Final Show", which is pretty much a straight up Villain Song about how she intends to kill her brother and Ember, all the while using her Musical Assassin powers to try and do so. She was Drunk on the Dark Side at the time, so naturally she's more hammy than usual.
- Royish Good Looks has made a handful of these:
- Darth Vader: "Hello (from the dark side)", "More Machine Now", and "I Am Your Father".
- Emperor Palpatine: "He's Too Dangerous! and "Do It!"
- Kylo Ren: "Let the Past Die"
- Two other Star Wars-themed parodies of Adele's "Hello":
- A lamenting one from Darth Vader's point of view: "Hello (I'm Tired of the Dark Side)"
- One sung by a female Stormtrooper hunting a wookie for its fur.
- A very ironic one for Jasper, boasting about how powerful she is and how the Crystal Gems have no chance of winning.
- There’s one for Yellow Diamond, showcasing both her vindictive nature and perception of herself.
- The same person has also made songs for Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, and Malachite.
- And now one for Jasper reflecting her thoughts as she refuses Steven's help in stopping her Corruption.
- After she was finally introduced in the show proper, White Diamond got a fun, upbeat villain song called "Hello Starlight" about her greeting Steven, whom she perceives as her presumed dead "daughter" and his actually dead mother, Pink Diamond. As fun and upbeat as it is, there's a sinister undertone to it, including a tiny little Wham Line that implies that White knew about Pink and Rose Quartz being the same person the whole time.
- Jakeneutron's Fan Music ''Only One Way'' takes place in Steven's Nightmare, an AU where Steven shatters White Diamond and becomes a Fallen Hero. The song itself is an antithesis to Change, a song about Spinel can change for the better. "One Way Out" is Steven's Motive Rant justifying his downward spiral leading him to change for the worse, and shatter the Diamonds before going on a rampage which destroys Homeworld. When Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl find Steven and hoping to bring him home and help him, Steven decides he'll destroy the Crystal Gems if they oppose him too, having come to believe that the gem race have brought nothing but pain to the universe.
- Bowser gets one to the tune of Portal's Signature Song.
- Dimentio gets two from Man on the Internet, "It's Showtime!" and "The Ultimate Show", gloating songs about nihilism and circus music, the latter of which happens after Dimentio goes mad with power and seeks to wipe out all reality to make it in his image.
- "Vs. Ridley", where the leader of the Space Pirates sings (or rather, screams) fittingly sadistic and psychopathic ballad to the death and destruction the Cunning God of Death relishes.
- Despite Touhou Project containing reams of fantastic music, none of them are songs, and calling any of the enemies villains is not quite accurate; however, that hasn't stopped the fandom from giving some of the antagonists their own Villain Songs based on their respective leitmotifs:
- Among others, Remilia's swells with charisma, Yukari's is appropriately sinister, and Yuyuko's is a tragic dirge on the mysteries of death.
- Flandre Scarlet, being one of the most popular characters with possibly the coolest and well-known theme song, has a lot of Villain Song remixes, like this one. A common theme in most of them is that she is batshit insane. In some, she just thinks she's playing and doesn't even realize that she's wrecking untold havoc - a notable one among those is Sweets Time, the lyrics of which sound harmless enough until you realize the innocuous objects actually stand in for spilled innards and dead bodies. The most "irredeemably evil" song for Flandre is probably the aptly titled "Rot In Hell!!"
- Utsuho Reiuji gets this villain song. At least we assume it's a villain song because the lyrics make no damn sense.
- Sumireko gets trapped in three weeks of nightmares, fighting the Dream Selves of the rest of the cast in Hifuu Nightmare Diary ~ Violet Detector. "Nightmares" gives us a villain song for the residents of the Dream Land as they relentlessly hunt Sumireko. We know you mean so well,
You don't know what went wrong.
But you're not from around here,
We may not get along.
Your mere slice of depression
comes from one much larger pie.
We serve with knives and bullets,
Tastes of which will make you die!
- "Chara" comes from the perspective of the genocidal Frisk as they are driven mad by Chara's influence and voice in their head.
- This video has a vocal cover of the battle theme Megalovania that definitely qualifies as one for Chara. In their fight against Sans, they’re portrayed as the chaotic and bloodthirsty Big Bad of the game.
- "They Need a Monster" features Mettaton EX as he gloats about his beauty and his admiration for his viewers.
- From Undertale the Musical:
- Flowey gets "Your Best Friend", which fitting his status in the game, sounds like something from Barney...as the lyrics become all about his his belief about the world and how he's going to kill the child. He gets a reprise later on about how he believes eventually the hero will have no choice but to eventually kill someone.
- Mettaton, being Mettaton, gets four. The first is "Metal Crusher", detailing his Deadly Game he's going to put the protagonist through with a healthy dose of narcissism. Next is the second, "Mettaton Medley", where he makes several attempts to kill the protagonist. Then comes the third song, "Metal Crusher Reprise", where he reveals what was really going on and that his real motives are different from what he let the child believe. His fourth is Death By Glamour, an "I Am Great!" Song that could easily be a Bragging Theme Tune.
- Muffet gets "Spider Dance", with accompaniment from Flowey (who has more appearances here than he did in the game).
- Asgore gets "Bergentrückung", an epic song that manages to both be majestic and intimidating, but also tragic and sorrowful. Considering Asgore's character, it also doubles as a Villainous Lament, reflecting his guilt and remorse over what he's done. Particularly when he briefly entertains the thought of giving up and returning to Toriel, but decides I've Come Too Far.
- The Final Boss gets "Your Best Nightmare" after going One-Winged Angel and becoming Omega Flowey, which is every bit as gleefully psychopathic as one would expect. Somehow, the fact that it maintains the same Lyrical Dissonance as his other songs make it creepier than other lyrical versions of the song that have been made. The final portion is basically a Villainous Breakdown in song form as the human souls rebel and help Frisk turn the tables on him.
- "Hopes and Dreams" for Asriel Dreemurr about how he will reset time over and over so he and "Chara" can fight for all eternity. Over time it gradually devolves into Asriel singing Why Won't You Die? as Frisk just won't fall until Frisk hijacks the song.
- The Goose has gotten a few, though they're less a villain and more a mischievous asshole. Noteworthy examples include:
- The Living Tombstone's "Goose Goose Revolution", which emphasizes the Goose as something of an amoral anarchist.
- The Stupendium's "What a Fowl Day", which portrays the Goose more explicitly as a Jerkass, though they insist that they’re doing it to save everyone from boredom.
- Random Encounters' "Goose on Holiday", where the Goose is portrayed as a Bugs Bunny-like prankster.
- Princess Rizu has a song called "Senpai Baby", which is about Yandere-chan's obsession and violent tendencies.
- iHasCupquake also made such a song, "Notice Me Senpai."
- Decks Fall Everyone Dies plays this straight and sort of subverts it. Duke gets a villain song in which he gloats about how he reigns over everyone using dice games and sexiness, but in the very same song, he hints at a nagging sense of guilt over it.
Other
- Cherylbytes of Das Sporking wrote "Onward, Sueish Soldiers" about Mary Sues.
- "/Hug Me" by Jakeneutron. It starts off as an innocuous song about saying goodbye that you would expect in the ending credits of a preschool show, fitting for Pibby and Bunbun. However in the middle of it, it corrupts into a corrupted Bunbun singing to the audience and trying to convince them to willingly give up their mind and assimilate into the Darkness with him. Pibby tries to warn the audience away as it is a trap but by then it is too late, as Bunbun interrupts and shows various cartoon and videogame characters have already been assimilated, as well as dozens of humans.
