Donteatacowman3 or "Donne" is a person of drifting fandom, but is currently interested in/obsessed with Yu Gi Oh above all others. She recently graduated with her BS in Psychology.
Donne is a Lipstick Lesbian. She loves Ancient Egypt, an interest that existed before her interest in Yu Gi Oh but was rekindled by it. She also likes classic rock and animation.
She used to write fanfiction but is most active in Journal Roleplay on the Character Blog Cagedingold. Just for fun, she decided to collect tropes about him here rather than creating a page for him. On the off chance that anyone reading this actually knows the blog, feel free to edit it.

- Above Good and Evil: Don't mention the word "moral" around him unless you want a long lecture on how the concept is inherently flawed and doesn't apply to his actions whatsoever.
- A God Am I: Has called himself a demigod before because of the shard of Zorc's soul in his, which he thinks has elevated him above normal humanity into something greater.
- Ambition Is Evil: He's well aware that this is how he is perceived.
- Ancient Egypt: His birthplace and his point of reference for all future cultures he experienced. He still believes in the Egyptian pantheon and considers them more legitimate than other gods.

- Big Eater: Both the Thief King and his landlord.
- Boisterous Bruiser: Cagey in his Thief King form.
- Cloning Blues: Cagey considers himself the original and definitive Bakura out of the many he's met over the years.
- Deal with the Devil: The source of his power and the only thing keeping him alive.
- The Determinator: He's gone from an orphan genocide victim to a wealthy, extremely powerful avenging spirit through sheer willpower.
- Dragon: To Zorc, the Big Bad.
- Embarrassing Nickname: He considers "Cagey" to be this, preferring to be called "Thief" or "Bakura."
- Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: His driving character motivation.
- Fatal Flaw: His dedication to his family to the point that he would kill everyone else in creation for them to be happy.
- Happiness in Slavery: Cagey sold himself into slavery to Zorc in exchange for getting revenge for the slaughter of his village. After so many years of indoctrination, he shows signs of this trope.
- Haunted Fetter: The Millennium Ring, his true form.
- I Did What I Had to Do: His justification for anything he's done, ever.
- Incredibly Lame Pun: He loves these.
- La Résistance: What the Thief King considered his movement against the pharaoh in ancient times.
- Large Ham: No matter what form he's in, his big ego, bigger goals, and love of attention tend to combine into this.
- Magically-Binding Contract: Part of his Deal with the Devil. The actual contract isn't a physical document; it's a piece of magic that Zorc has been shown to have the power to break at will.

- Multiform Balance: In his ghostly Thief King body, Cagey is functionally immortal and can turn invisible/intangible at will. (If injured heavily, he'll return to his default bodiless form in the Millennium Ring.) However, in order to achieve his goals practically, he often needs to disguise himself in his host Ryoh Bakura.
- My Master, Right or Wrong: Cagey obeys his master Zorc unquestioningly... unless his family is at stake.

- Omnicidal Maniac: Zorc taught him that all of humanity was deserving of death.

- Start of Darkness: Making a contract with Zorc. Before the contract, he was a criminal and revolutionary. After the contract, he became an Omnicidal Maniac.
- Sympathetic Murderer: Many of his actions and attitudes are reasonable in context until you find out he's actively fighting for planetary genocide.
- The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: There are many differences between Cagey's Thief King form and his possessed-Bakura form, most notably the extent to which he remembers and cherishes Kul Elna.
- Tough Love: His parenting style with everyone who's not child-Zorc.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: How he perceives his relationship with Thiefkingreincarnate. The feeling is not mutual.
- Would Hurt a Child: He likes kids a lot but has been known to hurt them before, either if he thought it was necessary to prevent further injury or if he actually hated the kid—he once kicked a child version of the pharaoh.
