It reveals that the Spider, Slayer, Vampires and Avengers series is one of the many Earths in the Heroes Multiverse, making that series canon to this one. While Chapter 74 of 'When Heroes live their lives' is a crossover between the Heroes series and the Thunder and Steel series, revealing that the Thunder and Steel series is one of the many Earths in the Heroes Multiverse as well, making that series canon to this one too.
  • Hypothetical Casting: Done for various characters in quite a few of the stories.
  • In Memoriam:
    • Chapter 2 of The adventures of Deadpool, his BFF, a rock and a weird bug thing has a tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
    • Chapter 2 of When Heroes live their lives has a tribute to DMX.
    • The second last scene of Heroes from Infinite Earths seems to be a tribute to Stan Lee, Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder.
  • What Could Have Been: Originally, fandoms like Watchmen, Supernatural, Highlander, Teen Wolf, and a few more, were going to have bigger roles, but eventually got reduced to cameos in the final story.
    • There was originally a plan to do the Twilight plot from the Buffy Season 8 comics but it was later abandoned so Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate simply banished Twilight before he could even start his plan in a post-credits scene of Never alone.
    • In an A/N of More than just an identity, Aragorn notes that he was trying to move the plot without killing off Lemar but it was just not working that way, sadly.
    • In The Contest of Champions, its said that more fights would have been done but due to the fact that watching Erik's and Logan's lives took too long, a good number of them got cut out.
    • The trailer for Heroes from Infinite Earths in Return of the Devourer shows the Heroes fighting an army of titanic beings but such beings never make an appearance in the actual story.
    • Heroes from Infinite Earths would have had Earth-1 Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash bring in an army of his time remnants and doppelgangers, as well as time remnants of other villains, to battle all the speedsters, but it would have seemed redundant after the climactic battle against the Anti-Monitor, so that got cut out.
  • Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Apparently Super-Adaptoid in the first story was originally an Earth-199999 version of A.M.A.Z.O. but got changed to Super-Adaptoid later.
