Entering Gerudo Town
Link struggles to find a way to infiltrate Gerudo Town despite being a male and forbidden. Paya pleads with her grandmother for something.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Gender: Link couldn't tell if Vilia is a man or woman, though she is referring to with female pronouns by Link and others. Though Link then sees that she has a beard when the wind blows.
- Auto-Revive: Impa clarifies that Mipha's Grace doesn't just allow Link to heal others, Mipha herself is lingering with Link to heal him when he needs her most.
- Chekhov's Gunman: Rhondson comes back to let Link know how to get into Gerudo Town.
- Disguised in Drag: Rhondson tells Link that he has to wear a Gerudo vai outfit in order to infiltrate Gerudo Town. And he does so.
- Dull Surprise: Link is so surprised by his immense payment from Bolson that all he can do is flatly thank him for the payment.

- Bolson is very much this, as he gives Link half a million rupees like it's nothing. And even better, they find dozens of each kind of gemstone in the various rocks around the place, and that literally makes Tarrey Town the richest in Hyrule. They give Link half of this, and it's still worth hundreds of millions of rupees.
- Link gives up most of his earnings to Purah, funding her laboratory.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Link knows he is in trouble when Purah calls him "Link" instead of "Linky".
- Open Secret: If Rhondson's words are any indication, Gerudo are aware that men infiltrate the town, and Rhondson even knows of the one who regularly does so, meaning a lot of Gerudo likely know that men infiltrate the town but don't do anything about it unless it's obvious they're male.
- Points of Light Setting: And there is one more point of light in this setting. Link returns to Tarrey Town after all this time, and sees that it has become a thriving town in its own right.
- Ship Tease: It's implied that Rhondson and Hudson may yet become an item, as he blushes when she speaks to him, and she smiles brightly in his presence.
- Teach Me How To Fight: Paya pleads with her grandmother to teach her the advanced Sheikah combat arts.
- Thunderbolt Iron: Paya believes that the Star Fragment Link found the previous night could be useful in upgrading Sheikah technology.
