  • Beware Two-Toed Tom: Two-Toed Tom, a Serial Killer in alligator's skin, moves into a town one day, making it his domain. Egotistical, Two-Toed Tom vows vengeance on a hunter for disfiguring it. He murders his young son Timothy Meier alongside his other children as well as massacring the women of the town.
  • Carmilla the Series:
    • Season Two's Big Bad Baron Vordenberg, despite his initial appearance as a friendly, if eccentric old man, is an egomaniac out to make an empire himself so he can pretend to be the hero. Upon taking control of the Silas board, he uses students as an army, and his newfound power to detain vampires, and vampire sympathizers with the threat of execution. His reckless actions cause more harm than good, and thinks nothing of killing his allies to get to his enemies and include opening a hell-gate and starting a war. His stories about his heroics and family history turn out to be lies for the sake of his ego, and he smugly rubs it in everyone's faces as he prepares to execute Carmilla.
    • Theo is a misogynistic and ambitious frat brother of the Zeta's. Initially seeming harmless, Theo reveals his true colors when Vordenberg orders him to murder Danny to be head of the Zeta's. Theo literally stabs Danny in the back because he didn't want to risk loosing to her, taunting a helpless Kirsche and Laura. After Vordenberg's death, Theo allies with Inanna and the Covae corporation in enslaving Silas students, selling out the world to Hell on Earth. Unlike Inanna's more sympathetic motives, Theo is doing this to have a seat of power. He would also use his position to sexually harass female students.
  • Cyber 8
  • The Debbie and Carrie Show - Ted Wilson is the embodiment of this trope, being an Entitled Bastard that as a teen bullies others, especially young girls. He even commits murder of his own wife as an adult.
  • SCP Foundation:
    • SCP-1034's original owner, designated D-3826, was a vile, misogynistic Serial Killer whose prime weapon was 1034, a needle that forces its victim to sew their orifices shut, trapping them in husks of their bodies. He reminisces on these atrocities with disgusting glee to the Foundation, and expresses a desire to make his interviewer into another "doll". It comes as almost cathartic when he's forced, begging and screaming all the way, to undergo the same torturous fate he subjected so many innocent women to.
    • The former SCP-531, at least in his decommission story is shown to be a sleazy teenage Smug Super with terrifying power. He killed two thousand people during a temper tantrum and later begins mind-controlling female staff into having sex with him. He also rapidly ages one researcher's husband to near death out of jealousy. 531 never takes responsibility for anything, claiming constantly he didn't really mean it. While he does have a sad past with his mother, the only person he loved dead, and a Deadbeat Dad, Dr. Clef viciously tells him it isn't nearly good enough an excuse for his horrible behavior. When Clef kills him, nobody is sad to see him go.
  • From the Dream SMP, Jschlatt is a calculating, manipulative Control Freak of a dictator who orders the execution of a teenager after making him plan the festival he would be unknowingly executed at, and mistreats his subordinates so much that pretty much his entire administration is either The Mole or would end up betraying him for Pogtopia. By the time of his death, he is spiraling into substance abuse, makes a discriminatory remark towards Fundynote , and practically the entire server hates him so much that they gang up on him during the final battle of Season 1, and celebrate his death after it occurs by showing their Last Disrespects at his funeral. Notably, his ex-fiance, Quackity, who shot him after resigning from being his Number Two, is able to commit Black Comedy Cannibalism with zero repercussions.
  • Escape the Night:
  • Freelancers: Mr. Gandolfini, the creepy, annoying, near stalkerish next door neighbor of the VPC crew hated by pretty much everyone he meets. His attempts to befriend them go all the way to Catfishing all of them (barring Zona) through an online service nearly costing them a job. Their own ineptitude however does them in. And in another instance costs them a payday, after Mr. Pecs has to allocate VPC's payment to repair the sauna that Mr. Gandolfini destroyed.
  • The Defiler: Y'golonac, per usual, is the Great Old One of Depravity and Perversion who manipulates a man into summoning him and taking possession of his body to commit murders and rapes. Upon meeting the protagonist, he tries to force him to say his name in hopes of breaking free from his imprisonment and bringing about the end of mankind.
  • Duke Crabtree from Ambition was clearly supposed to be this, with being a Smug Snake cop with a whiny, nasally voice, along with the player being given the option to insult and even punch him along with the fact that it turns out that he was Evil All Along. It backfired, though, when he became one of the most popular characters in the series thanks to some bizarre memetic lines, being far more competent than the protagonist (to the point of being able to successfully stand in as a marriage counselor), and his apparent ability to summon bright, colorful lights and a guitar wail when he kills you with a tire iron. Meanwhile, other characters like Ted, who the creator tried really hard to make sympathetic in spite of his actions, became The Scrappy instead.
  • Pick any major villain from The Kindness of Devils who isn't Thomas Nero, Krampus, or Lucifer or his followers; they're gonna end up here. Rich Jacobs runs a Snuff Film organization and later assists Nyarlathotep in attempting to slaughter the whole world; Nyarlathotep tortures and/or murders thousands and tries to eradicate the whole world; the Pijavica raped her son repeatedly and tried to massacre an orphanage; Siegfried Gunmarsohn and his daughter Sieglinde Nomura murdered hundreds of thousands over dozens of years, and the former tried to freeze the whole world with Ithaqua's assistance; Count Nicolai Gabriel von Krolock committed dozens of atrocities around the world and had tourists lured to his castle so they could be murdered and turned into Pricolici wolves; Y'golonac raped billions and taunts the main protagonist by claiming he also got raped at some point.
  • Les traces du passé: Sister Jeanne Belanger founded an orphanage with once genuinely good intentions. However, later, beneath her devout facade, she became a twisted Knight Templar who tortured the children literally all day, whipped them into unconsciousness, starved them and dehydrated them. Claiming to "correct them", she gave them to pedophilic priests, who promptly raped and enslaved them. When one of the orphans, Sophie, tried to escape alongside other orphans, she caught them at the last second, locked them in a cave, and watched as they starved to death.
  • The Lizzie Bennet Diaries:
    • Ricky Collins frequently compliments Lizzie and Charlotte but does so in an arrogant and obnoxious way. He tries to give advice but underestimates their accomplishments and knowledge, bashes Lizzie's blog, boasts of himself, tries to make himself look important and only speaks/cares about business.
    • Though not evident until late in the series, the true hate sink is George Wickham. He starts a relationship with an obviously lonely and vulnerable Lydia, manipulates her into filming a sex tape, then skips town and tries to sell the tape on the internet. Of course, this is after he seduces Gigi because he's run out of money and he figures she'll provide it, only to abandon her when Darcy offers him a check to leave.
  • My Brother And I Kidnapped a Woman for Thanksgiving: Miss Paterson is the abusive matriarch of the family who establishes her degeneracy by forcing her older son to kill a woman he and the narrator kidnapped for the Thanksgiving meal. It is later revealed that she drugged her husband and son when they were showing resistance towards their family tradition, the former instance of this resulting in her husband becoming a bedridden, unresponsive vegetable.
  • My Father Was a Serial Killer: Abby's nameless father was an abusive reverend who viewed everyone around him as sinful, especially women. He establishes his cruelty by striking his wife with his coffee mug and beating her whenever she wouldn't comply with his demands. When several pregnant women are found gruesomely murdered, he further demonstrated his misogyny by complimenting the serial killer for cleaning the sinful town. By the time he was arrested when one of his victims escaped, he curses the jury, threatening divine retribution on them for sending him away.
  • Penelope, one of the four students of a class in the satirical web short 'Modern Educayshun' by Neel Kolhatkar. Her ridiculously politically correct and left-wing populist ideals and logic as well as deliberate ignorance to prove her points when reasoned by the protagonist has made her just as detestable as Umbridge.
  • Philosophy Tube: Abigail gives us The Arsonist, AKA the traveling salesman, a showcase of what she sees as everything wrong with modern-day ultraconservative worldviews as well as representing a cautionary tale of how vulnerable people are towards far-right and fascistic ideas. In Steve Bannon, the Arsonist is used by Abby to highlight how the far-right uses superficial charm and exploits down-to-earth rhetoric to turn people against anti-racist and anti-fascist activists and light matches(a metaphor for committing hate crimes) with the arsonist. Further videos such as Abortion & Ben Shapiro and Climate Grief reveal that the Arsonist was responsible for burning his wife to death when she had an abortion and that the Arsonist believes that draconian forms of population control directed against immigrants and refugees are totally justifiable means of fighting climate change.
  • Vitaly from Fight of the Living Dead is a Dirty Coward and a Jerkass who screws up every mission he goes on, creating more problems for the team and getting half of the teams members(accidentally) killed. He's the definition of The Millstone and his teammates can barely stand him. The most he ever does to help out is unintentionally get devoured by zombies, creating a distraction for his teammates.
  • Tails Series:
    • Rast, Douglas, and Seamus from Tails of Fame were all clearly written to be loathsome characters. Seamus is a disgusting, racist, obnoxious Pig Man who intentionally tries to annoy and gross out everyone around him. Douglas is a very smug, overconfident Shark Man who thinks he's better than everyone else and talks to everyone in a condescending tone. Rast is a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing whose relationships with everyone is completely hollow, and he constantly keeps trying to justify his actions by saying that he just wants to be happy and wants to be famous. Various characters call these three villains out on their behavior several times.
    • Tails of the Bounty Hunter has Dr. Vogar Oblingor and Gobor Grizzer. The former is a Smug Snake of a Mad Scientist who views everyone as nothing but simple-minded dilettantes or puppets, and he desires to turn anthros into mindless Super Soldiers he can use to terrorize the public. The latter is a Dirty Cop who uses his authority to rape innocent civilians and commit acts of terrorism. Raping the main character after forcing him to devour his feces, followed by setting off a chemical weapon at a basketball stadium, pretty much cemented him as being one of the most deplorable characters in the story.
  • The Edge of Sleep:
    • Gus is a stupid, rude drug dealer who is friends with Dave and Katie. When Dave arrives at the party late, Gus has to be reminded of his name twice and later refuses to help Dave save Randy's life because he doesn't want to risk being arrested. Later it's revealed that he likely lied to Katie and gave her Speed instead of MDMA.
    • The Trespasser is a vile, sexist Serial Rapist with dozens of victims who he has raped and killed and a disturbingly casual way of referring to his crimes. He taunts his latest victim that her mother is likely dead when everybody starts dying in their sleep and looks over what is now "his world" with awe and sadistic glee at having no one to stop him from hurting others. He kidnaps Katie and later Dave, and intends to kill him slowly with medical tools. Even after Dave befriends him he decides to castrate Dave to keep him away from Katie, mockingly saying that he'll have to "enjoy a good book" while he's raping Katie. After Mateo and Dave stop him, he breaks down, saying that the girls were "junkies" whom he didn't hurt and pathetically begging to be let go. When the group straps him into an MRI to see what happens when a person dies in their sleep, any sympathy the audience may have for him goes away when he mocks Dave about the nightmares he'll have from witnessing his death.
  • Une Fille des Ombres (A Daughter of Darkness): Zaya "Zay" Aboulafia is Alison "Ali" Aboulafia's twin sister. Despising her sister as a person and "loving" her as a toy that she can play with to her content, she manipulated the other children into bullying Ali for years. Aware of Ali's anger and stress issues, she gave her coffee to worsen her condition, leading Ali to beat up other children for little to no reason, worsening her reputation, much to Zay's delight. Feeling insecure about Ali constantly surpassing her, she threw a fit when Ali got, for the first time, a better mark than her in art and only grew angrier when Ali, as Zay during their Twin Switch day, proved to be a better Zay in character traits: Zay promptly destroyed Ali's relationship with her best friend Rachel Ouliqaliq as retaliation, and later had the other kids give her a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown when Ali confronted her about her doings, blaming her for "abandoning her" in favor of Rachel. When Ali accidentally kills Érik Andreas, Zay has no empathy for Érik and is only impressed that Ali actually killed someone.
  • Worm:
  • The Homestuck Epilogues:
    • Gamzee becomes one by Candy with his obnoxiousness and creepy elements from the original story turned up to eleven. He spends a great deal of his screentime going around chanting about "redemption" and spraying milk everywhere while refusing to clean himself, and is just a manipulative creep in general. The prose goes out of its way to mention how disgusting he is. He's also speculated in-universe and out to have abused Tavros Crocker, his nephew of sorts, and one character suspects the abuse was even sexual. When Vriska strangles him to death, it's not exactly a tragic moment. As Homestuck^2 reveals the only character hurt by that is fellow Hate Sink Jane.
    • Jane was not a Hate Sink in the original webcomic, but she becomes one in her adult years, especially in Candy. In both timelines she becomes an anti-troll xenophobic ruler who tries to curb their population. In Candy, her power is greater, she gets Jake in a horribly abusive relationship where she rapes him under the Trickster Lollipop and mistreats him and their son, and her treatment of the troll race gets so bad that an all-out rebellion war breaks out. She becomes Earth C's own Condesce-like tyrant, but unlike the Condesce, she lacks any "cool" traits and her actions are portrayed with far more Realism-Induced Horror.
