Fan Disservice / Fan Works

• These animations redraw the ending sequences of Free! into a style reminiscent of Gakuen Handsome, which is to say, very poorly. Those chins... those bulges...
• Brawl in the Family has the Kirby's Epic Yarn strip where Kirby pulls down a zipper, with the last panel revealing that he's unzipping the dress of the grandma from the previous comic.
• Captive Mate manages to inject creepiness in every sex scene involving Izaya, since a) Izaya is pretty much sex-repulsed, b) two thirds of the scenes are him threatened with rape and c) the last third is him trying to manipulate his Yandere Self-Proclaimed Love Interest into granting him more freedom such as sleeping in a bed instead of a cage.
• Citadel of the Heart:
  • A sex scene in Digimon Re: Adventure Chapter 9 with a very awkward sexual encounter between Mimi and Chronicler, because the former was going through a mental breakdown on ruining her girl's day only plan, and Chronicler more or less practically took advantage of her even despite her actually consenting to the deed. Mimi the next day is frustrated because she feels almost fully unsatisfied with the act, because she feels Chronicler wasn't being rapey enough.
  • Digimon Re: Tamers has the infamous IceDevimon from Digimon Tamers as an Ascended Meme regarding his Memetic Molester status. So naturally when he and his human vessel Michael appear in Chapter 17, where Michael delivers what is effectively a date rape drug into Ruki via a Forceful Kiss, groping her ass earlier, and he and IceDevimon both smothering her in such a closed proximity. Whether or not Michael would've actually raped Ruki there is not known, as Ruki's willpower manages to have her fire 6 shots from a pistol into Michael's chest and killing him. IceDevimon is implied to still be active, and while Michael is now out of the picture, Ruki still passes out from the drug for some time before eventually regaining consciousness in the middle of the woods. Worse still, the drug or whatever it was is still inside Ruki, giving all sorts of uncomfortable metaphors to what had transpired in that scene.
  • Shadow Heat Chapter 12 introduces a Quilava nicknamed Caine who has a habit of sniffing Rui's crotch area out of genuine naivety to the social and sexual norm, and Rui does allow it intentionally at one point to prevent Caine from carrying out an order from Wes to Caine's former trainer. Said former trainer is the entire reason Caine is acting in such a way to begin with, as there are many implications and outright statements hinting at nothing short of animal cruelty against Caine used as part of the process to turn him into a Shadow Pokémon. Not helping matters is that Caine's mental growth displays behavior on par with a Cyndaquil, which is usually very timid, and remains this way even after inevitably evolving into Typhlosion.
• Ace Attorney fanfic Dirty Sympathy: normally a shirtless Klavier Gavin would be a treat, but not when his chest is covered with bloody bite marks and abuse scars.
• In "Edd Boy" from Ed, Edd, n Eddy: 20 Years Later EP, there's a shot of a nude Rolf with Valentine's chocolates and a flower in his mouth. It's not unattractive but it's meant to be funny and awkward rather than fanservicey.
• By the end of the USJ attack in The Emerald Phoenix, Momo is completely topless but also has significant burns on her upper body and is extremely emaciated from using up all of her fat reserves. Notably, her breasts are described as being outright shriveled.
• The Grim Tales from Down Below comic has a disturbing picture of an adult Mandy, and an even more disturbing dialogue, as Nergal mentions that the only way Grim could have an undead skeleton son was by aborting an actual infant.
• In the Discworld of A.A. Pessimal, two Assassins on an extended journey through Klatch and Howondaland are sent a parcel of requested items from the older sister of one of them. This includes necessary kit to replenish their travelling stores, which is locally unavailable. Mariella's older sister also sees fit to pack in a few comforts and luxury items. These take the form of Ankh-Morporkian illustrated magazines aimed at the young woman market. The two travellers gratefully receive them. One of the magazines has a very popular Hunk Of The Month section, composed of iconographs of a desirable male wearing the minimum of clothing. Mariella is less than enchanted to discover the Hunk of the Month turns out to be their brother, who captains a popular fifteen-a-side team in Ankh-Morpork. She complains about this and in her next letter asks Johanna, pointedly, if she has sent a copy to their mother, who likes to be kept in touch with what her expat children are up to in Ankh-Morpork. ("You have, haven't you?") Meanwhile, her friend Rivka, who is unaffected by Squick, takes the magazine away to peruse in private at leisure, pointing out Mariella appears to have lost interest...
• There's a few scenes from What Lies Beyond the Walls, but one of the most infamous ones is when Lakler pees on a hedgehog to try and arouse her...and succeeds.
• Star Wars: Paranormalities: A naked Dynn Manthis wouldn't normally sound too bad, except when she is in Episode I - Chapter 13, she's been possessed by a Forceless symbiote and she's been horribly mutated. While her body shape seems normal, she has another layer of leathery black skin covering most of her orifices, her breasts have been turned into eyes, she's got a mouth on her stomach and the glowing red eyes typical of Forceless hosts. Even worse, she's fully conscious but unable to do anything about the parasite while it tries to use her body to either kill Zolph Vaelor - her love interest - or have him kill her and utterly break him. And the symbiote has altered her insides in a way that makes her dependent on its presence for her survival. Unfortunately for the reader, Paranormalities - being a fan fic mostly driven by original characters - frequently has artwork supplementing it, so, the author doesn't leave it up to the reader's imagination as to what happened to Dynn.
• DTKraus, a Derpibooru user who alters screenshots from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic to make them surreal or horrific for a cheap laugh, delights in inflicting this trope on users who ask for genuine Fanservice and assume a guy with his sense of humor is going to play nice. One user asks for "Twilight Sparkle in a bra" and gets this, another asks for "Spike kissing Fluttershy" and gets this, and a third asked for "Twilight Sparkle giving Flash Sentry a sexy makeover" and got this horrific thing.
• Hermione Granger and the Boy Who Lived: When Fred teases Ron about his relationship with Hermione, she retaliates by infecting his laptop with a virus that changes the desktop wallpaper to an image she's Photoshopped, and won't let him change it back.
  Hermione: Two words: Naked Umbridge.
• In Chapter 5 of I've Got Your Back, there's a scene where Marina is seated before Pearl in front of her sink, with her hoodie removed and clad only in a sports bra and jeans. However, she was recently gravely wounded and was taken to Pearl's apartment to tend to her wound, her hoodie was removed so Pearl could get a better look at it, and Marina's still highly distrustful of strangers and it took a lot of coaxing to get her to come to Pearl's apartment in the first place. Any sexual tension in such a situation would be beyond inappropriate.
• The Job Gone Wrong has Gambit being naked for the biggest part of the story. Except that he's a fifteen year old who has been captured by the government and forcibly stripped to be electrically tortured and prepped for a sojourn into a glass tube, all this while he screams for his papa.
• One chapter of The Land of What Might-Have-Been features a sex scene between the alternate-universe versions of Fiyero and Glinda, intended as the moment they consummate their relationship. However, alternate Elphaba AKA Alphaba is using this as an opportunity to make sure that Fiyero stops holding a torch for her and gives his undivided affection to his fiance: so, she casts a spell that causes Fiyero to perceive Glinda as her - to the point that Glinda appears to shapeshift into Elphaba's past and present selves and back again numerous times during their tryst. Already the effect is more bizarre rather than titillating, given the process of growing taller and gaining green skin, then shrinking back again... but add to that the fact that this is clearly an act of Mind Rape paving the way for Alphaba's descent into villainy, and it becomes a whole lot nastier.
• In Lost Causes, Jessica Rabbit being a cartoon sex-symbol is Played for Drama. She was actually created to be in pornographic cartoons, but was treated as a little more than a prop. It's decidedly non-sexy because Jessica couldn't consent to anything or even talk until she was a week old. Jessica was eventually forced into prostitution, which is how she met her husband Roger when he rescued her from a man who was beating her up.
• In The Night Unfurls, this trope is guaranteed during any instance of Prison Rape or Rape, Pillage, and Burn, where the victims AND perpetrators are often naked. Special mention goes to the "church orgy" scene in Chapter 4 of the original version — it's not just the sight of the debauchery that's revolting, there's also the smell of certain bodily fluids as well. And then Kyril decides to go Advancing Boss of Retribution mode and add some gorn to the mix...
• Potter Puppet Pals version of Dumbledore, in and out of universe. He's an old man puppet and he's constantly getting naked.
  "Oh my God! Stay away!"
• A Rabbit Among Wolves: In one chapter, Jaune is propositioned by an SDC manager, who even gives him a massage. But since the manager is a withered old lady, and the woman is forcing him under the threat of dismissal to have sex, Jaune is more traumatized than aroused by the whole experience.
• So Rot Vie Blut: Snow White is very sexual and the fic goes into detail on it, but it's meant to be creepy because she's a teenager. She either seems uninterested during sex or she engages in dangerous behavior, such as holding her knife up to her lover's neck, that adds to the uncomfortable factor.
• Zelda and Link making out is usual The Legend of Zelda fanfic fair but in Their Bond it is less attractive than it initially seems. For one, both see each other as siblings and are also gay at that, so it's uncomfortable for them. The reason for the behavior is less actual sex and Zelda trying to cope with her pain, and Self-Harm herself, after years of sexual abuse and torture by Ganondorf dating back to her tweens. As a result, scenes like Link acting as Zelda's non-sexual dom are not remotely used for fanservice.
• In This Means War by Jeconais, Voldemort orders Lucius and Flint to prepare Narcissa for her role as a Honey Trap for Harry (it's actually part of Harry's plan of feeding Voldy false info). The result is a large rack, Uncanny Valley Makeup, and a Stripperific outfit which makes Harry actually laugh and note Flint must have some serious issues including color blindness.
• Thousand Shinji: When Nurgle follower Rei turned into Reigle, she modified her body to give herself curves that most women would kill for… and to look like a corpse. So she looked like a beautiful, naked, living cadaver.
• In one of the We Must Be Killers The Hunger Games stories, during the liberation of the victors being held prisoner, District 3 victor Eibhlin evokes this trope when she's found.
  She's naked, skin pale and mottled with bruises and oozing sores, and they've shaved her head and stuck her full of IV's that he's pretty sure are not there to help her with the pain. She's not unconscious, but she sure ain't all there, eyes open and glassy and unseeing, voice gurgling in her throat in what might be words.
• Part of the point of With Pearl and Ruby Glowing, in which all the sexual content is from characters, many underage and all from children's media, recounting their stories of surviving abuse. More humorous version in a scene where Gromit walks in on Wallace in a gimp suit, or Kyle's bizarre sexual descriptions in his fic within a fic.
• Several examples in Vale's Underground:
  • Surprisingly, a lot of things involving Cinder. She would be a plain Ms. Fanservice if she wasn't so goddamn sadistic.
    • The way that Cinder licks blood off her hands after beating up Robert is described as sensual, but considering the context, it is meant to be seen as disturbing.
    • Mercury having sex with Cinder would usually be fanservice. However, the titillation kinda ends when Mercury's dirty talk involves him talking about how they'll brutalize their enemies and Cinder getting progressively more aroused by it.
    • Kissing Dave after cutting his tongue while tasting the blood is all kinds of Squickinvoked.
    • When she seems to be going through a bit of a Sanity Slippage, she starts being more violent during sex.
  • The sex scene with Neptune and Weiss. Due to the Weiss not being interested in it, the idea isn't really as sexy as it could be otherwise.
  • Raven's attempts at seduction could be pretty sexy… if she wasn't trying to use them on her twin brother.
  • Adam's second scene in the story has him in the middle of raping a poor crying girl while he chokes her. He later shoots her several times before one of his workers has to Mercy Kill her.
  • Raven raping Qrow is not portrayed as sexy in any way (and it shouldn't be).
  • Salem pushing herself on Vernal and caressing her is played more for tension rather than fanservice. Especially when she starts threatening Vernal.
  • Taurus violently face-fucking his mistress to the point that she can't breathe isn't really the most titillating thing in the world.
  • Later on, his mistress is seen raping one of his sex slaves as well.
  • Not all of Yang and Pyrrha's clients are desirable, and those encounters are sometimes shown such as in Chapters 6 and 11.
  • Salem feeling up Cinder after the latter has stripped to her underwear is just incredibly uncomfortable since Salem is her mother in this story.
  • After the sexy striptease that Cinder puts on, it is followed up with another stripper... who has been stripped of her skin.
  • Even worse, in the middle of a threesome with Mercury and Emerald, Cinder can't stop thinking about the gruesome act. It's the reason she was so turned on in the first place.
• Vow of the King: Several fights involve considerable amounts of Clothing Damage, often with a participant ending the fight functionally nude. They'll also be covered in numerous injuries, including lost limbs.
• The Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series episode "Fanservice". The episode occasionally cuts to Mai Valentine (who isn't wearing her usual jacket) yelling "FANSERVICE!" for no reason. After one of said cuts, it suddenly cuts to Bandit Keith, who decides it's time to show some of his own fanservice..."in America!" Combined with the "Oh Yeah" song from Ferris Bueller and a caption of "Ladies, he's single!", we get the single most disturbing scene of that episode, if not the entire series.
• For the Legend of Zelda fanfic, Zelda's Honor, as much as Ruto-x-Link shippers would love to read about Link receiving one hot BJ from the sexy Zoran princess, the way it is presented ends up feeling more like assault and rape. Opinions may vary.
• Five Nights At Freddy's: Lack Of Comprehension (Warning: Not Safe for Work) has Hentai scenes , but describing them disservice is a huge understatement, especially with the source material's trademark Nightmare Fuel and even Nausea Fuel added into the mix, as all of them are graphic depictions of either rape or Mind Rape. With an anime A.I. girl Mizuki Aoyami being a full-on Yandere and Reality Warper, made you hallucinate being raped by her multiple times while you trying to ward the animatronics off and eventually made it happen for real after she murdered your wife, dog and went even as far as slaughter your 7 year old son and set an arson on your house, eventually raping you, with her covered in blood. Truly one of the most fucked-up moments. Basically, Five Nights In Anime's much Darker and Edgier twin.
  • It can be considered as a Deconstruction of Rule 34 fanfics of the FNAF franchise, as it was intentionally made it very clear that this is NOT supposed to be masturbation material.
• Any Rule 34 fanart featuring rape, gore, scat, etc. utilizes this trope in a very direct manner.
• In A Supe of a Man, Lois Lane is forced by Vought into wearing skimpy outfits, even for her interview with Clark. But her anger and humiliation at being objectified make the scene anything but sensual.
• Even School Days fanarts can carry the torch when it comes to this trope (fittingly enough for the source material), for example Sekai and Kotonoha are depicted naked... while beating each other to death with several bloody injuries, Raimi Mori, Natsumi Koizumi and Minami Obuchi in BDSM suit beheaded a naked Kotonoha, or fanart, Taisuke rightfully got stabbed by Kotonoha for raping her, while the latter is shown with exposed bra.
