Ed, Edd, n Eddy: 20 Years Later EP is a series of Ed, Edd n Eddy themed songs by YouTuber Akeem Lawanson. They can be viewed on this YouTube playlist.

Set 20 years after the cartoon ended, the songs take a glimpse at the character's as adults. The songs are rap and hip-hop songs done in-character. Most have art done by either Tybay or Akeem.

Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy: 20 Years Later EP provides examples of:

  • Adaptation Dye-Job: Instead of its normal red, Ed's hair is either brown or dark red depending on the lighting. It's possible that his hair has naturally darkened since childhood.
  • Art-Style Dissonance: The music videos feature the cute, cartoony art-style of Ed, Edd, n Eddy combined with dark visuals.
  • Break His Heart to Save Him: Jonny explains how his addiction resulted him giving up Plank to Double D for his safety.
  • Crossover: Part of the story revolves around taking Plank to Foster's from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
  • Dark Fic: It's an adult-aimed version of the characters growing up, so it features some darker elements than the original cartoon. The Ed's have gone their separate ways, Ed and Eddy are wandering aimlessly through life, and Jonny's drug addicted.
  • Driven to Suicide: According to Jimmy, Edd is depressed and contemplates suicide.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: "The Story of Plank" was not originally a part of the series, hence why it features Jonny as a boy. It's from the "If Cartoons Had Rap Careers" series.
  • Easily Forgiven: Jimmy visits Jonny in rehab, and the two friends have a warm and pleasant conversation, despite the fact that Jimmy was the one who fed the crack habit that got Jonny hospitalized in the first place.
  • Fan Disservice: In "Edd Boy", there's a shot of a nude Rolf with Valentine's chocolates and a flower in his mouth. It's not unattractive but it's meant to be funny rather than fanservicey.
  • Flash Forward Fic: The story is set 20 years after the cartoon. All of the characters are now in their 30s.
  • Growing Up Sucks: The main concept is that the Ed's lives are crummy as adults. The childhood innocence of the characters is gone. Eddy's still up to his schemes, but they've taken a darker turn, and most of the cul-de-sac kids are troubled adults.
  • The Lancer: Rolf plays this role for all of the Eds at some point, although associating himself closely with Eddy causes him to wind up in prison with Edd and Jimmy.
  • Murder-Suicide: Sarah killed Nazz before taking her own life.
  • My Greatest Failure: Rolf implies that he may have gotten Marie killed in a Noodle Incident.
  • Shout-Out: "New Eddventure" features a reference to Attack on Titan when Edd mentions Titans.
  • Wham Episode: The end of "Edd Boy" has Eddy shoot and kill someone, much to his and Rolf's horror. The following videos imply that it may not have been any of the characters.
  • What If?: Word of God reveals the story involves what would happen if Edd and Eddy's falling out in Big Picture Show resulted in them waiting years before finally making up.
