Pokemon Trainers
Gold
Gold
The Hero of the game. A young trainer begining his journey by getting his first pokémon.- Deadpan Snarker: Constantly makes quips about aspects of the game he's in.
- Everyone Has Standards: He is quite shocked when M tell him that he has to kill the Hypervisors to stop the Generational Upgrade.
Eevee / Eeveeon
A special Eevee able to evolve into the other stage of evolution.- The Load : The original Eevee form gradually becomes this, having bad stats and its only positive point being its Dark moves... which the other forms learn later. That's until it evolves into Eeveeon.
- Jack of All Stats: Eeveeon has pretty balanced stats.
- Master of All: With the Tetra Element Eevee can change from and have access to its other forms. Played straight with Eeveeon who can use the same attacks as the other forms.
Silver
Silver
- The Rival: Initially Played for Laughs when he proclaims it after being defeated. Played straight as the game advances when Gold considers him a Worthy Opponent. Ultimately Deconstructed as he declares after his Face–Heel Turn, after losing six times in a row, thay he was just too weak to be considered a rival at all.

Professors
Professor Oak
Professor Oak
- Big Eater: Tries to place an order (by accidentally calling Gold) of 34 chili cheese hot dogs.
- Noodle Incident: He did something that got him banned from the Premises of Pokemon Academia. He also somehow ended up in a Mental Asylum in one occasion.
- Running Gag: Every attempt to call anybody will result calling Gold instead.
Professor Cid
Professor Cid
The professor living in the same town as Gold, Aurum Town.- Berserk Button: Asking her to get a starter Pokemon.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After denying giving one of her Pokemon to everybody, Silver stole all of them.
- Jerkass: She's really abrasive with people in general and always look irritated. Also she doesn't want to give you a Pokemon in the begining, fires one of her assistants after Silver steals her Pokemon and doesn't let you use the recovery machine in her lab.
- Jerkass Has a Point: She actually doesn't have any reason to give a Pokemon for free.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Even before mellowing out she reveals that when Oak sold her the disposive to going into the void (as a means to get money), she immediately knew that Oak needed money and that the item (which needed the power of a Hypervisor to work) was worthless (she threw it in the trash), she buys it.
- Skewed Priorities: So, the world gonna end in 25 days. What are you going to do? Help The Hero who's in contact with the only good Hypervisor to save the world ? Naaah - try to finish all your research before the end, you have all the time needed.

Hypervisors
In General
The six gods ruling on the Game World.
- Clipped-Wing Angel: Taking too much damage in their Fury form will transform them to their Pure form, unable to do anything but heal themselves. There're basicaly a Nigh Invulnerable Stone Wall with a lot of defense, immunity to every type and status ailment, with a huge weakness to the Virus type.
- Deity of Human Origin: All the Hypervisors were originally humans.
- Eldritch Abomination: Their Pure form takes the form of Missingno, a bug shaped creature.
- Humanoid Abomination: Their Hybrid and Fury form.
- Humans Are Insects: Implied. While actually none of them this is actually how they see humanity, not counting XxLionheartxX who holds a grudge against them, and M whose feeling are ambiguous, every hypervisor show a big apathy against humans in general, howewer they barely show feelings for each other too, implying they actually all have an It's All About Me mindset.
- The Omniscient Council of Vagueness: Their meetings during the cut-scenes embody this trope.
- One-Winged Angel: After taking damage in their Basic form they will transform into their Hybrid form, and if they take damage in this form as well, they will go into their Fury form.
Zero
Zero
The controller of the World and the master hypervisor.- Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: His hair, eyes and clothes change when changing type.
- Elemental Hair Colors: He has blue hair when using the Water type, green when using Grass type and pink/purple when using Psychic type.
- Elemental Powers: Similarly to Eevee he can change form during his battles, unlike the latter only his hair and clothes change color:
- Bare-Fisted Monk
- Green Thumb
- Making a Splash
- Playing with Fire: His default form.
- Psychic Powers
- Evil Redhead: At least when using the Fire type (and technically the Fighting type where he gets orange hair).
- Hopeless Boss Fight: His second fight. He only have 2500 hp (half of the 1st battle) but you only have Eevee, with the latter being unable to change form or use summon. Also Zero can use his unavoidable "Death" attack at any time wich does Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
- Scars Are Forever: After the third fight, Eeveeon gives him a scar on his right eye.
- We Can Rule Together: He makes this offer to Gold. This is pure Pragmatic Villainy since he needs new Hypervisors for the new world and that's the quickest method to get back the Hypervisor chips.
Necro
Necro of the void
The controller of Death / Deleted Code.- Affably Evil: Isn't really an antagonist to Gold and is pretty polite.
- Co-Dragons: To Zero, with GeoSigma. Both take this rôle when Vanish_23 goes into hiding.
- Death Seeker: Downplayed. He doesn't actively want to die like GeoSigma but is thrilled by the concept.
- Heads I Win, Tails You Lose: Actually much like "Heads I Win, Tails We Won" : Gold loses, then Gold dies and the Generational Upgrade happens. He loses, then he dies and can experience the feeling of being dead.
- Nightmare Fetishist: Loves the concept of death and being erased and doesn't really mind being killed.Necro: To me, the concept of death is pleasing.
GeoSigma
GeoSigma / Giovanni
The controller of Battle.- Co-Dragons: To Zero, with Necro. Both take this rôle when Vanish_23 goes into hiding.
Vanish_23
Vanish_23
The controller of Systems.- Crazy-Prepared: She moves her domain to Mors Village, a town that can only be reached with Luna Forest, a Forest appearing at night while Night Mode is still deactivated. She then moves the Night Mode to the Security Vault to prevent it from being found.
- Freudian Excuse
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: She briefly seems affected by XxLionheartxX's death, but actually just Freak Out for her own life. She even calls the later weak when confronted.
- Only Sane Woman: When XxLionheartxX is killed she decides the best course of action would be to hide until the Generational Upgrade. Zero doesn't want to act but instead observes M's next move, GeoSigma want to fight whoever killed XxLionheartxX and Necro doesn't really mind to be found and eventually killed. Vanish_23's reaction can be described as "You are all insane, I'm out".
- Out of Focus: After XxLionheartxX death she goes into hiding and dissimulate the only mean to reach her domain.
XxLionheartxX
XxLionheartxX
The controller of Environments.- Blow You Away: Downplayed. He has an affinity with Flying Type but only has Grass attack.
- Freudian Excuse: After being beaten, he admits that one of his motivations of the Generational Upgrade is to take revenge against humans for destroying and modifying the environnement he created.
- Green Thumb: He has an affinity with Grass Type and can use Grass attack.
- Humans Are Bastards: See Freudian Excuse above for the reasons. He is actually the only Hypervisor holding this view, unlike the othersnote who is instead apathetic to them.
- Smug Snake: As you navigate in his domain, he will constantly gloat about killing you. Bonus points for being the weakest Hypervisor.
- Sadist: Declares he will enyoy the prospect of fighting and killing you.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: The first Hypervisor to be defeated, he barely gets any attention, in contrast to the others.
- Worthy Opponent: Suprisingly he doesn't see Gold who defeated him as one, but instead M, for having found a means to defeat his Pure Form (the Hypervisor Virus).
M
M
The controller of Creatures.- The Beast Master: Downplayed. She doesn't control them, but she's the one who created all Generation II and III Pokemon.
- The Comically Serious: Was fated to happen considering her dialogues with Gold.
- Not So Above It All: Has one of these réactions when talking about the new eeveelutions after Zero defeat.
Gold: Yeah it's pretty cool.
M: It is indeed... cool!
- White Sheep: The only Hypervisor who values human life and is against the Generational Upgrade.
