     Giorno Giovanna

Giorno Giovanna

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_go_2.png
Voiced by: Romi Park
  • Anti-Hero: This version of Giorno is even more brutal than the original, and is willing to kill people for simply annoying him. He even used Gold Experience Requiem on Bucciarati at the end of their fight.
  • Artistic License – Biology: Mentions having a breast, with Polpo later even voicing his approval of Giorno's "dairy lump".
  • Broken Record: He has a tendency to use this to insult defeated opponents. After winning the first fight against Bucciarati, he began sarcastically chanting "Are you alright Bucciarati? Are you alright Bucciarati? Why are you running away?" over and over again. He does it again after Diavolo was trapped in the death loop.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: The janitor interrupts Giorno's dance-off with Leaky-Eye Luca. Giorno's reaction to that? Murdering the old man immediately.
  • Kicking My Own Butt: Gets brutally beaten by his own stand to the point of apparently transcending dimensions in Episode 8.
  • Mad Doctor: At the end of Episode 6, Giorno heals Mista with his upgraded Stand: Gold Grateful Aero Purple Experience, or Purple Experience for short, whose ability allowed him to fill the wounds using Green Day's mold. Judging by Mista's reaction, it's even more painful than in the original.
    • In Episode 9, his healing proved to be so traumatic that Abbacchio decided death was better.
    • After Narancia's death, he muses how great it was that he performed so many human experiments.
  • Self-Made Orphan: This series's continuity estabilishes Giorno to still be DIO's son. However, that does not in any way hinder him from remorselessly murdering Leaky - Eye Luca, who apparently is DIO in some capacity (along with being Polpo's stand).
  • Sesquipedalian Smith: According to the intro narration, his full name is Giorno Giovavavavavavava... and in Episode 1, Bucciarati calls him "Giorno Giovavavavana".
  • Story-Breaker Power: Judging by his fight with Bucciarati, Giorno apparently started out with Gold Experience Requiem. Though he never used it again until the final battle with the Boss.
  • Team Killer: Murders Abbacchio in Episode 9 by sliding into him.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: This version of Giorno had his love for Pizza Margherita taken up a notch. He often stops whatever he's doing and talk about how he wants to go back to Naples and enjoy a simple Margherita, usually at the worst possible time.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Giorno is dressed in a two-piece swimsuit for at least a half of Episode 2.

     Bruno Bucciarati

Bruno Bucciarati

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_bruhno_smol.png
Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai
  • Born as an Adult: Implied, considering he is only 20 seconds old yet appears to be a fully-grown man.
  • Butt-Monkey: Not only is Bruno completely bald and needs to wear a wig because his teammates won't be able to recognise him without one, he always ends up losing his wigs under various circumstances.
  • Covert Pervert: Is sometimes seen browsing pictures of Trish's breasts at his computer.
  • Desecrating the Dead: Pours Abbacchio's... erhm, "tea" on Risotto Nero's corpse for being too noisy and interrupting him.
  • Gag Haircut: His wig choices include such things as a red clown afro, Fugo's hair and Giorno.
  • Hairstyle Malfunction: Poor Bruno can't stop losing his wigs, be it to a sudden gust of wind, flying Narancia, or some other occurences.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: A decidedly weird version of this trope. For some reason, no one on the team except Giorno is able to recognize Bucciarati without his wig.
  • Waddling Head: Turns into a giant head on legs several times, including that one occasion he became Kirby.
  • Weird Sun: The sun sometimes gets replaced by his bald head.
  • What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Apparently Sticky Fingers's main ability is to brutally beat down different kinds of peaches. But only when Japan is closed.
    • It can also add a tapper to objects that statata sang songs on, whatever that means.
  • Younger Than They Look: Exaggerated. He is stated to be 20 seconds old, despite looking like a young adult.

     Guido Mista

Guido Mista

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_mmista.png
Voiced by: Kentarō Itō
  • BFG: During his confrontation with Ghiaccio, Mista's gun drastically increases in size, turning into a whole - ass bazooka. It happens once again in Episode 10 when Mista is fighting Secco.
  • Hartman Hips: In Episode 7, his bottom becomes so ample that the ground shakes every time he takes a step.
  • Made of Iron: He somehow manages to survive Prosciutto shooting him in the head 20 times.

     Narancia Ghirga

Narancia Ghirga

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_nana2.png
Voiced by: Fujiko Takimoto
  • Catchphrase: "Bikini nanda!" and "Huh, me?", which can often be heard even when he's not around.
  • Hartman Hips: In Episode 3, Narancia grows in size tremendously while fighting Formaggio (despite Little Feet only being able to shrink things), and, for some reason, his giant form sports extremely wide hips.
  • I Believe I Can Fly: Narancia flies away and snatches Bruno's wig upon being told an unfunny pun in Episode 7. A similar situation occurs again in Episode 11, only this time he steals the Stand Arrow in Bucciarati's head instead.
  • Samus Is a Girl: Is revealed to be a girl in Episode 7.
  • Team Killer: At the end of Episode 7, he accidentally flips the boat with all the other team members (and the boss), drowning them. Everyone seems to be fine by the next episode, though.
  • What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Aerosmith is unable to fly, but, according to its ingame description, can crash just like an airplane.

     Leone Abbacchio

Leone Abbacchio

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_abb2.png
Voiced by: Tetsu Inada
  • Death Glare: Gives an epic one to Giorno in Episode 4.
  • Dirty Coward: This version of Abbacchio values his own life above the lives of his teammates, and is constantly telling Bucciarati that they must run away.
  • Harmful Healing: After his death in Episode 9, he is brought back to life by Narancia's Percussive Maintenance and then subjected to agonizingly painful healing by Giorno (who murdered him in the first place). The pain actually was so extreme that he preferred death over such treatment.
  • Undying Loyalty: Surprisingly enough, even after dying, he still stuck around with the team. His ghostly images constantly appeared with the rest of the team, and he even activated his stand power during the Cioccolata fight to help Giorno.

     Pannacotta Fugo

Pannacotta Fugo

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_fuugg.png
Voiced by: Hiroaki Miura
  • I Never Told You My Name: For some reason, he instantly recognizes Illuso when he sees him in the mirror.Explanation
  • Reformed, but Rejected: In Episode 8, Fugo seemingly changes his mind and rejoins the others during Notorious BIG's attack on the plane. He is zipped out of the plane by Bucciarati.
  • The Bus Came Back: Despite not leaving with the others, Fugo still manages to feature and play an active role in several episodes, most notably in Episode 9, where he lands a giant version of Aerosmith squarely on Risotto Nero, crushing him to death.
  • The Right Hand of Doom: Enlarges his right arm to a ridiculous size during the second fight with Illuso and uses it to pummel him to death.
  • What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: One of Purple Haze's abilities seems to be regenerating Fugo's hair in a space of seconds, if Episode 7 is anything to go by.
  • Younger Than They Look: He is apparently only six years old, despite his appearance and voice being that of a teenage boy.

     Trish Una

Trish Una

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_trish3.png
Voiced by: Rio Natsuki
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: In Episode 3, Trish asks Narancia to buy her a copy of the Vento Aureo game.
  • Grand Theft Me: Starting from Episode 7, her body constantly gets possessed by the ghost of Pesci, transforming her face and voice into Pesci's.
  • Screw Yourself: Shares a passionate kiss with Spice Girl in Episode 8.

La Squadra

     Formaggio

Formaggio

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_formaggio.png
Voiced by: Yuji Kishi
  • Dying Curse: In Episode 3, after being defeated by Narancia, Formaggio declares with his dying breath that Bucciarati will soon die. Doubles as Five-Second Foreshadowing, since not even a minute after he said that, Aerosmith (which uses Bucciarati's model) gets devoured by Notorious BIG.
     Illuso

Illuso

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_lulu.png
Voiced by: Akira Negishi
  • Back from the Dead: After he was killed, he somehow came back as a giant hand to help Risotto fight Doppio.
  • Heroic Resolve: After being infected by the Polpo Haze virus, he suddenly declared courageously that he will protect hope at all cost, that he must stop the evil in this world, and that living like a failure is worse than death (all of which were Polnareff's lines).
  • A Sinister Clue: Taken to its logical extreme in Episode 9, where he returns as a giant left hand with his face on its palm.
  • Spell My Name with a "The": In a cutscene after his battle with Abbacchio, Illuso starts calling Abbacchio and Giorno "The ★ Abbacchio and "The ★ Giorno", respectively. The cherry on top, however, is the fact that he also names himself "The ★ I".
  • Unusual Euphemism: Refers to the finishing blow (とどめ) as "dining car" (食堂車) for some reason. Giorno later picks up this too.
  • Verbal Tic: Probably the most famous example in the series. He ends many of his sentences with "the mirror!" and "in the mirror!"
     Prosciutto

     Pesci

Pesci

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_pesci.png
Voiced by: Tomohiro Nishimura
  • Grand Theft Me: After his death in Episode 5, Pesci starts regularly possessing Trish's body.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Uses Prosciutto's fresh corpse as a fishing rod during his battle with Bucciarati.
     Melone

Melone

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_m.png
Voiced by: Hidenobu Kiuchi
  • Adapted Out: Sadly (or not), his ultimate fate in the PS2 game. However, the voice clip of Baby Face telling Melone to shut up still exists in the files. He also appears as a distorted PNG image in Episode 9, playing football along with other Squadra members.
  • Butt-Monkey: Baby Face's disembodied voice constantly tells him to shut up, even when he's not present (which is most of the time). And the only time he actually shows up on-screen, he gets a football in his face.
  • Phrase Catcher: "SHUT UP, MELONE!"
     Baby Face
Voiced by: Unknown
  • The Voice: He's never seen ingame, but can often be heard shouting "SHUT UP, MELONE!" from off-screen.
     Ghiaccio

Ghiaccio

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_ghia_6.png
Voiced by: Tomohiro Nishimura
  • Me's a Crowd: There are six copies of him (along with one Polpo) running around at one point during his battle with Mista.
  • Noodle People: Without his muscular DIO suit, Ghiacchio is shown to have extremely thin, spindly limbs.
     Risotto Nero

Voiced by: Akira Negishi

Other Passione members

     Diavolo

Diavolo

Voiced by: Mitsuru Miyamoto
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
  • Catchphrase: "STAY AWAY FROM ME!", which can often be heard even when he's nowhere to be seen.
  • Hairstyle Malfunction: Upon seeing Hirohiko Araki approach them in the Infinite Death Loop, all of Diavolos lose their hair at the same time while extremely distorted and slowed down version of Staff Roll plays.
  • Me's a Crowd: There are shown to be about 10 iterations of him suffering through the Infinite Death Loop together.
     Doppio

     Leaky-Eye Luca

Leaky-Eye Luca

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_luca.png
Voiced by: ???
  • Adaptational Badass: In the source material, Luca's just a regular gangster with apparently no Stand ability. In here, he's Polpo's Stand, Dio, and the Stand user of Notorious B.I.G.
  • Ascended Extra: Unlike in the original game, where he's taken out in a cutscene and never shows up again, this version of Luca has a much larger role in the story. Though it's unclear what that role actually is...
  • Determinator: In this game, Luca returns time and time again after his death in an apparent attempt to exact vengeance on Giorno.
  • Fighting Spirit: He is actually Polpo's stand, as revealed in Episode 2.
     Pericolo

  • Impossible Task: Orders Giorno to keep the lighter's flame lit for 150150 hours (which is roughly seventeen years).
     Cioccolatta

Cioccolatta

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_chocko.png
Voiced by: Ryuzo Ishino
  • Abnormal Limb Rotation Range: Through all of his appearance at the end of Episode 9, his head continuously spins at 360 degrees.
  • Beard of Evil: He now has a beard which is styled in the same weird - shaped dreadlocks as his hair.
     Secco

Secco

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_setsuko_5.png
Voiced by: Takayasu Usui
  • Acid-Trip Dimension: His fights with both Mista and Bucciarati take place in one.
  • Enemy Mine: Temporarily joins forces with Giorno and Bucciarati in Episode 10 to beat up Shadow Diavolo for calling Bucciarati bald.
  • It's Raining Men: Beginning with Episode 10, multiple copies of him occasionally start falling from the sky.

Miscellaneous

     The Janitor

The Janitor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pissione_janitor.png
Voiced by: ???
"There is no problem at all."
  • Adaptational Badass: In the original manga he was just an ordinary old man who got killed by Black Sabbath in the same chapter he was introduced in. Here, not only he manages to come Back from the Dead, he also straight - up kills Secco in one of the later episodes by dropkicking him in the face, and T-poses on his lifeless body for good measure! (it didn't last very long, though).
  • Related in the Adaptation: Judging by Episode 2's opening scene, this series's version of him is a part of the Joestar bloodline.
     Jean - Pierre Polnareff

Jean - Pierre Polnareff

Voiced by: Akira Negishi
  • Heroic BSoD: Araki being revealed as the Boss sends poor Polnareff into a full - on nervous breakdown.
  • Throwing Off the Disability: Actually manages to stand from his wheelchair and walk during his fight with Diavolo.
     Hirohiko Araki

Hirohiko Araki

  • Author Avatar: Is the author of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure manga series.
  • The Dreaded: Everyone is shown to be extremely afraid of him; Araki merely showing up is enough to send Polnareff into a Heroic BSoD and make Diavolo lose his hair from the stress.
