This is a partial character sheet for Kamen Rider OOO. Visit here for the main character index. Subjective trope and audience reactions should go on the YMMV page.

Were the Big Bad Ensemble of the show. They were artificial creatures created by humans 800 years ago, only to evolve beyond their control and begin a competition for title of "Multi-King", only to be sealed away by the original OOO. Ankh is one of them, but doesn't get along with them. They also have a Theme Naming going on, each ones name revolves around a desire, except Ankh, who is the Odd Name Out, though he did have a name that followed the naming scheme in early production stages. They feed off human desire and greed by using their Yummy to turn it into Cell Medals. According to Ankh, they also have a habit of regularly turning against each other.

In truth, it was the original OOO who made them, in order to Take Over the World and become immortal by absorbing Medals of other living beings; Ankh helped him, hoping to backstab him later. Unfortunately, OOO went out of control and caused the Greeed to be sealed, except for Ankh's body due to only his right arm being sealed.

    General
  • Back for the Dead: They, alongside the King are resurrected in Core Medal of Resurrection, but once the King decided they've outlived their usefulness, he absorbs them to become the Multi-King.
  • Being Evil Sucks: A Greeed's existence is miserable: they have deadened or missing senses, they have a massive void in themselves they can never fill no matter what they do, and they literally lack emotions that humans take for granted. A large part of their motivation is simply to experience things humans naturally have. Worse, they naturally lack souls and thus aren't truly 'alive'.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: The Sonozaki Family was somewhat unique in Rider lore by being a villain faction who were entirely human, with much focus placed on their interpersonal drama as their personalities clash and conflict with each other. The Greeed meanwhile are the least human villains in the series, literally being artificial creations which lack base fundamental elements like souls, and are driven entirely by single-minded personal desires instead of more complex machinations.
  • Deader than Dead: If a Greeed's Core containing their consciousness is destroyed, they're gone for good. If Maki is to be believed, they don't have souls and thus cease to exist upon death.
  • Identical Stranger: Birth X Tanjou Hiwa indicates that, Ankh aside, all of them bear a resemblance to Eiji’s once-mentioned siblings who stole his money (with the exception of Gamel, who is instead indicated to resemble their neighbour).
  • Our Homunculi Are Different: The Greeed are homunculi created from pure human desire via alchemy.
  • Set Bonus: Like OOO himself, the Greeed become more powerful the more Medals of their type that they have, represented by losing either their upper or lower body armor when they have less than all nine Medals, then the other piece of armor when they lose more than half of their Medals. Unlike OOO, they need the complete set of nine to access their full armor and an additional power, where OOO only needs three. Taking in a large number of Medals from another Greeed can give them the full armor, but not the bonus.
  • Tragic Villain: The Greeed are ultimately just creatures created to be used as pawns by a megalomaniac, acting out of their awareness that they lack core aspects to themselves, not even possessing souls. Uva, Gamel, and Mezool's ultimate deaths are portrayed very sombrely.

    Uva

Uva

Portrayed by: Yusuke Yamada (live), Kazuya Okada (suit, series), Kohei Matsuoka (suit, Core Medal of Resurrection)

The Insect Greeed and a hot-headed warrior. His Yummies takes strength from stealing the object of their hosts' desires.
  • Alas, Poor Villain: His final moments paint him in a rather pitiable light, with him begging for help after Maki forcibly loads him with Core Medals to no-one in particular before painfully being converted into the Medal Vessel, suffering Death of Personality in the process.
  • Animal Motifs: Insects, fitting with his medals.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: He is one, as are all his Yummies.
  • Character Development: Went from being the most Hot-Blooded Greeed (and second dumbest next to Gamel) to being the most patient and resourceful out of all the Greeed.
  • The Chessmaster: When he needs to, he's good at making long term, effective plans.
  • Deal with the Devil: Uva's later Yummy switch to this tactic, actively carrying out their host's desires (making its host more talented, destroying the wedding of someone they wanted to be with, and carrying out justice on those its host declared 'bad guys') but ultimately causing harm in the long run (sucking the talent out of someone else, violently beating up people who did wrong in the eyes of its host). Uva also remains in contact with the host, unlike his fellow Greeed.
  • Death by Irony: After being the one most single-minded in obtaining his Core Medals and becoming complete, he dies when Maki forces him to absorb all the Core Medals they have, causing Uva to be very painfully transformed into the Medal Vessal.
  • Death of Personality: It's implied that being converted into the Medal Vessel annihilated his consciousness.
  • Determinator: So great is Uva's will to live that he can even survive being reduced to a single Core Medal.
  • Dying Alone: Assuming that being turned into the Medal Vessel destroyed his consciousness, anyway. His last waking moments are spent in the middle of a junkyard all by himself, begging no-one in particular for help while in total agony from the excess Core Medals Maki threw into hin.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He has a deep, coarse, guttural voice. Made more threatening by his true form having the lowest buzzing effect out of the Greeed.
  • The Generic Guy: While Kazari is a self-centred schemer, and Mezool and Gamel are sympathetic Anti Villains, Uva for the most part remains a hot-headed thug, though he does show a few bits of subtle Hidden Depths later in the series. As it turns out, this lack of growth makes him the perfect candidate to become the Medal Vessal, since unlike the other Greeed he has no desire which could allow him to resist being consumed by the Core Medals' true power.
  • Hidden Depths: Initially presented as a dumb brute, Uva proves to be the most cunning of his kind, crafting a scheme to farm Cell Medals that goes undetected for months and gives him a gigantic supply. He's also the only Greeed not to go berserk when he gets back all of his Cores.
  • Killed Off for Real: The Core Medal containing his mind isn't explicitly shown to be destroyed, but Uva doesn't revive when the Core Medals arrive in the future, suggesting he's truly gone like the rest.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • His name is a play on "Ubau", a Japanese word meaning "to steal away".
    • His way of making Yummy makes it more meaningful — they literally steal the object their host desires.
  • Mook Maker: Uva figures out early in the show how to make Waste Yummies by breaking Cell Medals in half, producing cheap, disposable mooks. He later improves on the technique further to create his Cell Medal farm.
  • Nigh-Invulnerability: Actually killing Uva is virtually impossible, as unlike all of the other Greeed he doesn't go dormant if reduced to just his central Kuwagata Core Medal. His success in setting up passive Cell Medal farms grants him even greater durability later in the show, and in the finale his Set Bonus makes him so tough that even being hit repeatedly with attacks from the purple Medals doesn't so much as crack his Cores.
  • Not Quite Dead: #36 led to Uva being seemingly destroyed, but managing to endure as just his Kuwagata Core Medal.
  • One-Winged Angel: After having been forced to absorb the other Greeeds' Core Medals, he becomes the Medal Vessel, a machine-like object that converts matter into Cell Medals and produces Waste Yummies as a side effect.
  • Puppeteer Parasite: Became this after having his body destroyed by Kazari, Gamel, Mezool, and Ankh (Lost), his Kuwagata Core Medal doing much the same as Ankh did by possessing a human who just happened to be walking by. He remains like this until Ankh uses one of his Yummy to get Uva enough Cell Medals to restore his body.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Kazari's blue.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: He makes his escape in the finale when he realizes things are getting too far out of his control, but by this point he's already been made to absorb too many Cores by Dr. Maki, causing him to uncontrollably transform into the Medal Vessel.
  • Shock and Awe: He can shoot lightning out from his antennae.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Uva seems to have a good bit in common with the Black Joker. Kinda makes sense, considering the monster designer for Blade is the designer for OOO.
    • He highly resembles Kamen Rider Shin.
  • Took a Level in Badass:
    • Since Kazari started absorbing Cores, Uva was kind of left in the dust. So he disappeared for about six episodes and quietly farmed a massive amount of Cell Medals by seeding people with Waste Yummies. The result? He was able to shrug off OOO and Birth's normal attacks like they were nothing and fight OOO Tajadol on even ground.
    • In #44, he was able to fight Kazari fairly evenly with five less medals than him, and even succeed in reclaiming two of his own.

    Kazari

Kazari

Portrayed by: Taito Hashimoto (live), Jun Watanabe (suit, series), Daiki Suzuki (suit, Core Medal of Resurrection)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kazari.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kazari_9.png
The Feline Greeed and a cunning schemer. His Yummies have a habit of devouring their hosts once their desires are satisfied.
  • Animal Motifs: Felines, fitting in with his medal set.
  • Asshole Victim: None of his fellow Greeed actually care or bother to notice of his death, especially after he took their Medals once he became complete and stated to be the untrustworthy one.
  • Big Bad: Kazari takes on the role for the middle chunk of the show, after killing off Mezool and Gamel and taking their Cores for himself, as well as forcing Uva into hiding. The show's third act sees his position slowly unravel due in large part to his own arrogance.
  • Blow You Away: He can produce mini cyclones.
  • Cats Are Mean: He's probably the meanest out of the Greeed.
  • Character Tics: He's often putting his hands behind his head, fitting with his loose and laidback facade. He also tends to put his right pointer finger against his head.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Has it the worst of all the Greeed. It is also his undoing, as not only does it give OOO and Birth the upper hand on him, the other Greeed don't even care he's dead.
  • Death by Irony: Murdered by Maki, the one person who he thought he could trust not to betray him, specifically because Kazari's own ambition meant he was a liability to Maki's true goals.
  • Demonic Possession: The trait of his Yummies. When Kazari infects someone with one of his Yummies, the victim is forced to act out their desire. Once the Yummy matures, it even completely absorbs the host into its body, making it difficult to fight it without hurting the host.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: Was pretty much the Big Bad most of the series, but gets killed off and usurped by Dr. Maki as the main villain at the start of the show's final arc.
  • Dying Alone: His final moments are spent stumbling through the busy city before dropping to the floor at the side of the street and disintegrating, with absolutely no-one paying attention to him or even noticing during or after the fact.
  • Elemental Powers: His own elements are Blow You Away and Light 'em Up. The elements he gained from absorbing other Greeed's Core Medals are Gravity Master and Making a Splash.
  • Eviler than Thou: To the other Greeed, as Mezool and Gamel found out the hard way. Ironically, he meets his end when Maki reveals to be even worse than him.
  • Evil Genius: Kazari is convinced he's one of these, and for the most part is a competent schemer, but his immaturity and ego are often his undoing.
  • Expository Pronoun: Uses the very humble boku, which only highlights his Faux Affably Evil self-centeredness.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Kazari acts chill and laid-back with a smooth voice yet is also the type of individual who'd constantly manipulate and backstab his fellow Greeed to obtain Medals and make Yummies out of people where the host ends up in an And I Must Scream disposition, all doing this with a smile on his face.
  • Gravity Master: After absorbing two of Gamel's Core Medals.
  • Humiliation Conga: #44, full stop. Not only does Uva come back to life and kick his tail with Ankh, the latter pretty much talks the Greeed over to his side. Then, after finally becoming complete, OOO and Birth breaks his Lion Medal before Dr. Maki tells him he's outlived his usefulness and rips off all his Cores except one in the exact way he did to Mezool, proving he'd been Out-Gambitted the entire time. He's last seen a broken wreck, dying alone with the other Greeed not even caring about his demise. To add more to it, Ankh then absorbs his Cores, the same thing Kazari had been doing to his fellow Greeed.
  • It's All About Me: His principal goal is to acquire more power solely for himself. In his dying words, he mourns how he was unable to gain everything the world has to offer.
  • Karmic Death:
    • Getting stabbed in the gut by Dr. Maki echoes his own betrayal of Mezool. The fact Ankh does to his Cores after his death what he did to Mezool and Gamel's, making it all the more karmic.
    • His final defeat was the result of getting tag-teamed by OOO and Birth, something that was only possible because he started blasting away at his own allies the second he revived, reversing a 5-on-2 match in his favor into a 2-on-1 in favor of OOO and Birth. In short, the power he obtained via Chronic Backstabbing Disorder ultimately left him vulnerable to The Power of Friendship.
  • Light 'em Up: He can emit an intense light.
  • Making a Splash: After absorbing five of Mezool's Core Medals.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • His name comes from "kazaru" — meaning 'to decorate'.
    • Also applies to his manner of creating Yummy. They form around their host once they're complete. In this context, to "decorate" means to apply something to the outside of something else, thus they 'decorate' their host.
      • Plus it sounds similar to kaze, referring to his wind-based powers.
  • Out-Gambitted: He thought he is pulling Dr. Maki's strings. He didn't learn it was the other way around until the latter told him he'd outlived his usefulness.
  • Panthera Awesome: Is modelled around various wild cats, specifically Lion, Tiger, and Cheetah.
  • Prehensile Hair: When at full power, his dreadlocks can become tendrils.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: While a mild case, he's still rather childish in his behavior, but still just as, if not more, deadly as his fellow Greeed. Further reinforced by using the boyish "boku" when referring to himself.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Uva's red.
  • Sacrificial Lion: Dr. Maki's murder of him proves just how evil Maki has truly become. Also a literal example, as his head Core was Lion.
  • Shout-Out: His human form looks very familiar, maybe he based it from the human form of another childish kaijin.
  • Smug Snake: Kazari is a legitimately cunning manipulator, though his arrogance often gets the better of him and eventually leads to Maki outmaneuvering him and stealing his Core Medals, leaving him for dead.
  • The Sociopath: Kazari constantly manipulates and backstabs his fellow Greeed for his ambitions of being complete without any empathy or remorse whatsoever, all with a smile on his face. His selfishness extends to the fact that if something doesn't go in his favor or out of his control, he'd be quick to retaliate.
  • The Starscream: He planned on betraying Dr. Maki once he fulfills his goals. Little did he know that the reverse would happen to him.
  • Take That!: Smugly stated to Sendo that Shocker was a thing of the past in #28 when the combatant complained to him.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He's last seen wandering the city a broken wreck, mourning over the fact he'd failed to gain everything the world has to offer, dying a pathetic shell of his former self.
  • Xanatos Gambit: By teaming up with Dr. Maki, he points out that creating Yummies bears no downside upon him. Even if it gets destroyed by OOO, most of the Cell Medals are handed over to the Kougami Foundation. Since they then go to Dr. Maki, Kazari still gets a portion of the Medals.
  • You Didn't Ask: Saw Ankh make off with their missing Medals and never bothered to tell the others until they realize they're missing some Medals. Could be justified because the Greeed are competing with each other, and this information might give him an advantage, playing on his Obfuscating Stupidity.

    Gamel

Gamel

Portrayed by: Hiroyuki Matsumoto (live), Masashi Takada (suit, series), Keisuke Kumamoto (suit, Core Medal of Resurrection)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gamel_4.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gamel_3.png
The Large Animal Greeed and a simple-minded brute. His Yummies are created from his own body using human desires.
  • Animal Motifs: A bit more abstract than the others, but he and his medals are based on heavy animals.
  • Anti-Villain: He never really wanted anything more than to make Mezool happy.
  • Awesome, but Impractical:
    • The downside to producing Yummy from his own body is that they're absolutely useless for medal farming. This factors into his closeness to Mezool, from whom he procures a large part of Cell Medals in his possession.
    • His Medals also suffer from this; Eiji and Ankh got a grand total of one Cell Medal for defeating the Buffalo Yummy.
    • On the upside, having a single Cell Medal reduces the vulnerability period of his Yummy. Theoretically, as long as he has enough medals to spare, he can summon a Zerg Rush of Yummy. There is also the fact that since Yummies get Cell Medals from feeding on their hosts' desires, his Yummies come from him to fulfill his desires — he is feeding on desires, not the Yummy. And then it turns out he can turn anything he touches — including humans — into Cell Medals (as in #46), and once at full power, he need not farm Medals anymore.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's easily one of the least malicious Greeed. He's also one of the most potentially destructive if angered.
  • Blinded by the Light: Gamel can't handle bright lights well, meaning the Lion Medal can be an effective weapon against him when OOO has one.
  • The Brute: Gamel's definitely more of a strongman than a schemer, which is reflected his theme of heavy animals.
  • Combat Tentacles: Well, it's an elephant trunk, but it's the same basic idea.
  • Dumb Is Good: Gamel is the only Greeed presented as being capable of being satisfied with his lot in life, being too stupid to know that his senses are warped. He's equally happy eating candy or broken glass due to being unable to tell the difference in taste, but he is happy with both of those things. As such, he's the only Greeed to Go Out with a Smile.
  • Dumb Muscle: Not necessarily stupid, but pretty clearly the most simple-minded among the Greeed. Case in point: he's seen in #6 stacking bar-stools into a fort, with pretty much no interest in the others' problems.
    • He also has next to no knowledge of Greeed anatomy (like thinking he can replace Mezool's Cores with his own and trying to resurrect her the same way Uva did despite being Killed Off for Real).
  • Enemy Summoner: Unlike the other Greeed, he produces fully mature Yummy straight from his own body.
  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Thinks Mezool is his mama, and he'll do practically anything for her.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Gamel will eat anything he thinks looks delicious, from candy to a kendama. Justified, as he has no sense of taste or even a proper digestive system.
  • Go Out with a Smile: Dies smiling when he has a vision of Mezool happily accepting a piece of candy from him, her happiness being the one thing he desired more than anything.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: The poor guy can't do anything right, and his lack of intelligence leaves him open to manipulation from everyone.
  • Irony: As a Greeed he's unable to taste food even tough he's always eating and even if he has all nine core medals he still can't eat, because his Touch of Death will turn anything he touches into Cell Medals.
  • Lean and Mean: When in his human-like form, in contrast to his really stocky build as a Greeed.
  • Magikarp Power: Of all the Greeed, Gamel is by far the least dangerous in his incomplete form, both because of his Dumb Muscle status and because he has no ability to create more Cell Medals, meaning he can't feed himself without the aid of the other Greeed. Complete, though, anything and anyone Gamel touches collapses into a pile of Cell Medals, taking him from a joke to a Walking Wasteland in the blink of an eye. It says something that the combined Medal Vessel's world-ending ability is just Gamel's on a slightly bigger scale.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • His name means 'to pilfer'.
    • While he doesn't do any physical theft, and his Yummies also don't, he does so in a metaphorical way — he always copies what he sees others do since he cannot fully think for himself.
    • Taken to new, horrifying heights when his complete form's true power is revealed. The ability to turn anything or anyone he touches into Cell Medals, pilfering them from everything around him.
  • Nigh-Invulnerable: At full power, the only reason why the two Births are able to hurt him is because Dr. Maki had already cracked the Core containing his consciousness.
  • One-Winged Angel: Kazari convinced him to take in Mezool's Cores, and seems to intend to feed him more, making Gamel an engine of destruction.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Case in point — after seeing a couple fight with throwing a shoe, he finds it absolutely hilarious and creates a Yummy whose main power is to make inanimate objects throw themselves at people. It gets worse over the episode as the items move from shoes and bags to heavy metal cases and exploding barrels.
  • Shirtless Scene: Spends a lot of time missing the armor for his upper body thanks to losing those Medals early, even after he's brought back. It could be lampshading his role as The Brute, though.
  • Shout-Out: One that goes almost unused due to Gamel missing his torso armor for virtually the entire show, but his combination of a stake on his right arm, a multi-barrel gatling gun on his left, and a horn on his forehead gives him the very distinctive equipment loadout of the Alt Eisen from Super Robot Wars.
  • Simpleton Voice: Gamel certainly isn't the smartest of his kind, and his slow, almost childlike way of talking is rather reflective of that.
  • Spoiled Brat: Mezool babies him by giving him candy and cell medals. As noted in his character entry, his Yummies aren't able to gather hordes of Cell Medals, hence Mezool giving him the medals.
  • Super-Strength: Naturally, given his animal motifs.
  • Sweet Tooth: There are points where he does nothing but eat candy even when it's revealed that he can't actually taste it, much less tell the difference between eating candy or eating a plastic toy. He's just copying the reactions that he expects a human would have.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Since his Yummies can't gather Cell Medals, Gamel is literally incapable of feeding himself without help from Mezool. Only when not at full power, anyway.
  • Touch of Death: Once he's fully restored, he's able to convert anything he touches into Cell Medals, including humans.

    Mezool

Mezool

Portrayed by: Yukana (voice), Honoka Miki (live), Satoshi Fujita (suit, series), Takashi Furuya (suit, Core Medal of Resurrection)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mezool_6.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mega_greeed_out_of_control.png
The Aquatic Greeed and a mother-figure to her kin. Her Yummies derive their power from their hosts' growing obsessions.
  • Affably Evil: Apart from her motherly nature to the other Greeed, she sometimes affectionately refers to Eiji as "OOO-boy" whenever she fights him.
  • Animal Motifs: Aquatic animals, much like her medal set.
  • Anti-Villain: Seems to be a Type II. It's hard to see her as anything but this once her true motivation is revealed; a desperate desire to finally be able to feel maternal love that, as a Greeed, she's incapable of ever feeling. Her "motherly love" towards Gamel, Ankh (Lost), and Dr. Maki was all a futile attempt to be able to feel this. Her villainy is by no means her own fault, it's just what she is and there's nothing she can do about it.
  • Back from the Dead: Only to get Killed Off for Real come #45.
  • Combat Stilettos: In her Greeed form, though they seem to disappear during actual stunt sequences.
  • Creepy Child: Her human form.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Eiji destroys three of her Cores, causing her to die in Gamel's arms, who she had previously discarded for being unable to satisfy her desire.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Fire can mess her up.
  • Elemental Shapeshifter: When she possesses all of her Cores.
  • Faux Action Girl: Her battle record so far is...less than stellar. Not exactly her fault, though. And even then, only until she's fully restored.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Has shown favor for and listens to Dr. Maki over Gamel despite the fact that the scientist was the one who used a lot of Medals to inconspicuously make her a berserk monstrosity and generally doesn't care about her at all, telling her that she and the others were just a pile of Medals unable to feel anything (no matter how right he was about that). Had it not been for Gamel coming to her side in her final moments, there would've been a slight possibility that Mezool would've found out of Maki's true intentions as he was preparing to take all her Medals once she died.
  • Lady of War: The only female Greeed whose greatest desire is to be able to genuinely feel maternal love, she's also incredibly powerful in battle.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Once she's got all of her Cores, she's sturdy, powerful, and faster than almost all of the characters combined.
  • Logical Weakness: What happens to water when its heated up enough? It really seemed to be more of a burst of pure heat, much like the sun emits, rather than straight-up fire.
  • Make Me Wanna Shout: The Shachi Medal can emit and receive sonic waves.
  • Making a Splash: Obvious enough, being blue and based on aquatic animals.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Her name means to love. Hers is more fitting than the others' as she seems to be the most compassionate. It's also fitting as her Yummy make a person's desire turn into an obsession. Once fully restored, it turns out that her desire is to be able to genuinely feel maternal love instead of merely imitating as Gamel does. Unfortunately, her method involves abducting mothers and their children, and trapping them inside her eggs. And no matter how many she took, it was clear that it's never enough.
    • Her name sounds similar to mizu, referring to her water-based powers.
  • One-Winged Angel: After absorbing Gamel, a load of Cell Medals, and two of Uva's Core Medals, she transforms into a Aquatic/Heavy Animal hybrid taken down by OOO Gatakiriba with help from Birth.
  • Sacrificial Lion: Twice. First when she and Gamel fused into an abomination and again when she's the second Greeed to be Killed Off for Real.
  • Team Mom: A rare villainous example. Gamel even acts like she's his mommy. And then it's made even more heartbreaking in #45-46.
    • Extends to her Yummies as well, even if she and the others ultimately eat them, she still refers to them as 'my children' or 'sweetie'.
    • She also treats Ankh (Lost) like her child to some degree and refers to Maki as a "hatchling" due to transforming himself into a Greeed.
    • It's a fairly Deconstructed Trope. When she shows more interest in Maki, Gamel becomes angrily jealous
  • Water Is Blue: Her primary color is blue and her motif are sea animals. Her water attacks are also shown to be blue.
  • Zerg Rush: Her Yummies are basically this trope. She creates a whole nest of yummy eggs, that are incubated by the hosts desire. Once they are fed with enough desire, they hatch and appear in great numbers.

    Spoiler Character

Ankh (Lost)

Portrayed by: Miyu Irino (voice), Hikari Tobita (live), Masashi Takada (suit)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ankh_lost.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ankh_lost_6.png
The rest of Ankh's body, that eventually got animated with a mind of its own.
  • Animal Motifs: Birds, much Ankh himself.
  • Anti-Villain: Was an infant that only lived for about a few months, tops, and only wanted to be whole, with Kazari manipulates into something much worse.
  • The Chessmaster: Learned from Kazari and the other Greeed how to be one. He's very good at it and his first plan goes off without a hitch! He also plays the "chess" part straight as well.
  • Creepy Child: Well, mentally, at least, considering he's only been "alive" for a few months. Very much played straight in his human form, however.
  • The Dragon: He's essentially Kazari's bodyguard.
  • Killed Off for Real: The first victim of Putotyra's ability to shatter Core Medals.
  • Literal Split Personality: He and the other Ankh have very different personalities. While the other Ankh is a cunning Manipulative Bastard, this one is single-minded and surprisingly childish.
  • Perpetual Molt: He's always losing feathers.
  • Playing with Fire: Pyrokinesis is one of his main abilities.
  • Psychopathic Manchild:
    • He didn't talk for his first few episodes, but when he finally did, his voice and personality were suprisingly childish. He eventually takes on the human form of a ten or eleven-year-old child. Further demonstrated by his use of the boyish pronoun "boku" when referring to himself, being the only Greeed not named Kazari to do so. Justified, as Kougami only recently took one of his Cores and restored his consciousness, leaving him mentally an infant.
    • He shows how psychopathic he is in 38 when he blasts Gamel across the room for simply touching his soccer ball.
  • Tyke-Bomb: Kazari seems to have this in mind for him. He might not actually be a child physically, but mentally he is. Kazari even refers to him as a "baby bird looking for its mother."

    Yummy
The Monster of the Week. They're created from human desire by the Greeed for the purpose of creating Cell Medals. They start out life as identical faceless mummy-like creatures called White Yummy that are made from a Cell Medal inserted into a human host by their master. They then proceed to eat their host's desires, and a lot of it until they finally become their animal-like complete form, but they can still continue to eat to become stronger. This food is converted into Cell Medals, which 'bleed' out when the Yummy is wounded; when they're destroyed, they explode into a shower of Medals, the stronger the Yummy, the more you get.
  • Asteroids Monster: The jellyfish creatures spawned by the Lion-Kurage Yummy in #19-20.
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: The Mantis Yummy has hook-like blades on the sides of his fingers. In addition, he looks creepily like a mad slasher...
  • Catchphrase: Certain Yummy are articulate enough to have these.
Unicorn Yummy: Save your dreams for the night.
  • Eyeless Face: All Yummies have one somewhere on their body.
  • Japanese Beetle Brothers: Appear in #17. Notably the first Yummy two-for-one deal. The "Japanese" part even gets a push as being born from a kendo student gives them a samurai-looking design.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: They start out by consuming the things people desire. Once they grow big, strong, and smart enough, they start trying to eat people.
  • Literal Genie: Though the Yummy all exhibit this to varying extents, the Vulture Yummy fulfills its host's desire to be the only man remaining by beating up other men.
  • Literally Shattered Lives: The Ankylosaurus Yummy in #42 pulls this on a captive civilian in order to draw out OOO.
  • Love Makes You Crazy: The desire of the victim in #17-18. She wanted to impress her kendo instructor, who was to get married soon.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: Used by the Ankylosaurus Yummy in #41-42, by shooting out its spikes.
  • Mega Neko: The apparent theme of Kazari's Yummies, starting with the Neko/Cat Yummy and Siam-Neko/Siamese Cat Yummy.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: After absorbing Mezool's Core Medals, Kazari's Yummy become these.
  • Monogender Monsters:
    • Averted in #13 with Kazari's Siamese Yummy.
    • Averted in #31 with Uva's Black Swallowtail Yummy.
  • Mook Maker:
    • Gamel's Yummy come directly out of him, fully formed without having to eat anything (which may be explained by his simplistic thoughts and desires).
    • Uva can make (what Ankh has dubbed) Pseudo-Yummies, two at a time, by splitting a Cell Medal. As the Medal Vessel he produces Waste Yummies en masse.
    • The Lion/Jellyfish Yummy can spawn mini-mooks, most likely a result of Kazari absorbing Mezool's medals, and thus inheriting her ability to spawn a Yummy 'nest'.
  • No Mouth: White Yummy have no mouth, instead, they ether phase their 'food' into them or open a previously not present mouth elsewhere on their body.
  • No-Sell: The Neko Yummy's fat body makes it immune to bladed attacks, which it doesn't even react to. Thankfully, blunt trauma is another story.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: The Dinosaur Yummies, who are fueled by the desire to reduce everything to nothingness.
  • Piranha Problem: Mezool's first swarm.
  • Playing with Fire: The Omu Yummy made by Ankh's left arm can breath fire.
  • Puppeteer Parasite: Certain Yummies, at least Kazari's, are parasites. When they enter their host, they take control of them and (in one case, so far) force them to eat their desire. Once again, some nasty results here.
    • Fridge Horror is averted with Kazari's second Yummy, who's linked to a surgeon. No, she doesn't go around eating patients; she just performs their surgeries in the dead of night without so much as one assistant, and without authorization. Thankfully, she's so talented that every single operation was successful, even earning her more fame than before.
  • Power of the Void: Doctor Maki's and by extension, Giru, The Pteranodon Yummies made by Doctor Maki can breathe a mist which dissolve anything caught in it to nothing.
  • Shock and Awe: The Stag Beetle Yummy seems to have inherited Uva's lightning attack.
  • Threatening Shark: Mezool's second batch.
  • Wolverine Claws: Feline Yummys tend to have these.
  • Zerg Rush: Mezool's Yummies personify this trope. When the Cell Medal is inserted, it creates a nest of Roe-like eggs that multiply the more the host indulges in their desire, but the host isn't aware of the nest until it drops and hatches.
