  • Bad Boss: Was willing to sacrifice Ichiro and Kuko in order to get rid of Mad Comic Dialogue and take over their territory.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Although presenting himself as calm and laid-back, he's a sadist who discards his own underlings on a whim and doesn't shy away from putting children in danger.
  • Forced Sleep: As a demonstration of the True Hypnosis Mic for Jakurai, the Party of Words brought him to the Colliseum in chains, and had a Ramuda clone to put him into a coma he is likely to never wake up from.

  • Parental Substitute: Acted as somewhat of a father figure to Jiro and Saburo, while Ichiro hated his guts (and was right to do so).

  • Would Hit a Girl: Threatens to cut Nemu's fingers and later straight-up kicks her in the stomach, during a standoff with Samatoki and Ichiro.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Even more horrifying, considering he is an orphanage director.

The patriarch of the Katen yakuza group, based in Yokohama Division, and Samatoki's superior.

  • Nom de Guerre: His callsign is "Thales".

    Shakku Harai

Voiced by: Naomi Kusumi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shakku.png

  • Hate Sink: He is not meant to be a likeable character. He bullies Jyushi out of spite towards him being better at him at karaoke, doing things like humiliating him in front of the whole class over his attachment to Amanda, but what really solidifies him as a scumbag is when he indirectly murders Jyushi's grandmother by baiting her into running in the street, and he shows no remorse for doing so.

A section manager at E.L. Medical Co., Ltd and Doppo's boss.

  • No Name Given: Is never refered to by name. Doppo only calls him "the bald boss".
  • Pet the Dog: In "The Reality of a 29 Year Old" drama track, he turned around and praised Doppo for securing a profitable contract. Notably, it was only after Matenro won the 1st Division Rap Battle. After Matenro lost, all the respect he showed to Doppo evaporated instantly.

    The Stalker
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/6zculib.png
The woman who was dangerously obsessed with Hifumi.

  • Abhorrent Admirer: Her "love" to Hifumi was manifested in love letters, written in her blood. Not to mention, her attempts to commit murder-suicide with him, so they could be together for all eternity.
  • Ax-Crazy: She carries a knife and is not afraid to use it on her object of obsession, like Hifumi, or snooping intruders, like Jiro.
  • Female Misogynist: She had, ahem, an interesting choice of words for Hifumi's other fangirls.
The Stalker: Shut up! My love for Hifumi is real! I’m not like those stupid whores!
  • My God, What Have I Done?: After Jakurai used his healing rap to bring her back to her senses, she was horrified after realizing what her lovesick self had done. She even tried to jump off the window to not live with herself, but Doppo was prepared, which saved both her and Hifumi.

    Nayuta Yamada (Unmarked Spoilers)
Rei's wife and the mother of the Yamada brothers.

  • The Ghost: So far, her only appearances were through being mentioned by other characters.
  • The Lost Lenore: Zigzagged. In the "aikata(s) back again" drama track, Rei indirectly refers to her as a person he looked up to the most. He claims that she is "no longer in this world" but the later story development proved otherwise.

Season 2 Characters

     Kikoku Kaibyakumon

Voiced by: Tatsuhisa Suzuki

DJ of the DJ group known as TBH. Actually an intelligent kid taken under Kaibyakumon's wing.

Tropes pertaining to him:
  • Ambiguously Brown: Likely has some degree of Japanese descent, based on his name alone.
  • Mook Lieutenant: Despite his name being on the "wildly popular" DJ group and him clearly instigating some of the trouble, TBH isn't much of a threat towards the division rap battle participants at the pointy end of Rhyme Anima+ - he lets himself be arrested by Chuohku when they come for him.
