The Four Horsemen

The main characters of the story who have "retired" from their duties and are in hiding when the story begins.

     Mot

Mot

The original Grim Reaper and the horseman of Death. However one day, upon meeting a dying prisoner who has crossed the Despair Event Horizon and talking with his "boss", he realized that he and the Horsemen were depriving people of hope and decided to "retire" and go into hiding. That was until Angela found them.
  • Big Brother Is Watching: He has a pulse on humanity so he can usually see what people have done or doing. Granted he doesn't use it often, mostly just to see what his brethren are up to when they leave their hideout and it doesn't work on demonic forces.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: In his current form he has them on his face.
  • Dem Bones: He's pretty much a walking skeleton.
  • Don't Fear the Reaper: This very much wasn't the case in the past. In the present though he's a pretty nice guy, if reserved and still a little intimidating sometimes.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: When Oblivion starts coming after Angela and he, he starts showing his cowardice and refuses to confront him as well as his reluctance to go aid Lily (who had end up warping herself to Reading, the other Horsemen head to help her upon realizing their other horses were there. Though Mot jump out of the transportation circle at the last minute). Angela actually smacks him over it and tells him that it won't solve anything and he has to act for the sake of his friends and "niece".
  • The Leader: He's the leader of the four due to his main attribute (the personification of Death). Though his position get challenged by the others over time.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: After killing the hopeless prisoner, he's contacted by the Devil who pretty much admits Mot and his fellow Horsemen are nothing but tools for his own ends. Mot becomes horrified upon realizing this, setting in motion his and his fellow horsemen Heel–Face Turn.
  • Tired of Running: He admits he was afraid of his own power and the possibility of his own death, fearing it would lead to the loss of all life on Earth if that happened. However, after a talk with Angela, when Oblivion confronts him, Mot stands his ground and allows Oblivion to kill him. Which allows him to find out that he can't die as his life is linked with humanity. This regains his resolve to go help his brothers.

     Warrace

Warrace

The horseman of War. Naturally a bit brutish than his compatriots.
  • The Big Guy: Being the embodiment of war, it's not surprising he'd be the biggest and strongest of the bunch. Reabsorbing his full power makes him a utter behemoth.
  • Bruiser with a Soft Center: He may look like a brute but he can be caring underneath.
  • Cigar Chomper: Seen smoking a cigar a few times through the story.
  • Hate Plague: He doesn't directly start wars, instead he just influences others into conflicts that ultimately lead to them.
  • Resist the Beast: Of the group, he struggles the most in embracing his power (since conflict is always ongoing) and hesitates when pressured to do so.

     Marvin

Marvin

The horseman of Famine, despite the title, he loves to hang out in bars and eat while naturally messing with a few jerkasses for fun.
  • Big Eater: Despite his title (ironically) and having no need to do so, he likes to eat and can usually be seen doing so most of the time.
  • Cool Shades: Wears a pair.
  • The Gadfly: Often uses his powers on unruly patrons at a bar by turning their food into disgusting and molded messes.

     Pesty

Pesty

The horseman of Pestilence. A meek but nice guy who really loves his germs and even gives them names.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's a cordial guy, somewhat shy but friendly. But when he does decide to cut loose, he can be utterly frightening.
  • I Call It "Vera": He personally loves germs and treats any he gets like pets, with names and everything.
  • Nightmare Face: Once he taps into his full power after his Face–Heel Turn, his face turns much more grotesque and horrifying.
  • Plaguemaster: As expected for the Horseman of Pestilence, he has power over germs and diseases. He himself claims that he doesn't need to control diseases because he is the disease.

Allies

     Angela

Angela

A reporter trying to make a name for herself at the newspaper she works in. She follows a lead that leads her to where the Horsemen are hiding out, in turn kicking off the events of the story.
  • Death Seeker: Unintentional on her part, but deep down she secretly wants to die as she feels she has nothing to live for. Betty's grandmother is the one that points this out to her and she's mortified upon realizing it. Though it does allow her to come to grips and eventually make peace with herself.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Her home life wasn't very ideal going into her teens as she wanted to be a reporter. But her father forbid it and cut her off when she wouldn't reconsider. She managed to get through her studies well enough but made the mistake of printing a story without checking her leads that got her expelled. She explains to Lily that she refuses to go back home due to all the drama, but isn't in an ideal position at the current as she dedicated most of her time to learn journalism and feels purposeless without it.
  • Fatal Flaw: Pride, she is utterly stubborn and often leaps before she looks, which has gotten her in major trouble most of the time. Even when some sensible options are on the table she tends to just keep forging ahead because she's too prideful to admit if she's wrong. She does grow out of it through the events of the story though.
  • Hope Bringer: Ultimately her role in the grand scheme of things even if she didn't know it. She comes to realize her own self-worth through the escapade as well as the faults of the Horsemen and Lily. Finding that they all lack purpose and aren't any different than any common mortal trying to make their way through life. When she notes this in the climax and points out that they all have free will despite what "prophecies" say. It's enough to keep Lily and the Horsemen from triggering Armageddon.
  • Intrepid Reporter: She wants to be one, but she has a bad habit of not fully looking into what she investigating. It got her in trouble during college when she did a scandalous story on a teacher without getting all the facts. Landing both him and her in hot water that ultimately got her expelled. Though it's her looking into the Horsemen that likewise kickstarts the plot as well.
  • Talking the Monster to Death: She's ultimately the one that saves the day, managing to talk both Lily, Mot, and the other horsemen to stand down after explaining they always had a choice in the matter of their lives despite what they were made for and don't have to follow the Devil's plan to start the apocalypse.

     Betty

Betty

Angela's flatmate who gets dragged into the growing situation of the story.
  • Intangibility: Her grandmother gives her a potion that allows her intangibility to help during the situation with the horsemen.
  • Mama Bear: By the epilogue, she's fully grown into the role of being Lily's adopted mother and is very hostile to Bellsing and Babel before Angela calms her down and the two show they really mean no harm.
  • Not Brainwashed: Lily brainwashes her to be her mother in the climax of the story. But once things settle down and the spell is broken, Betty reveals to her she meant every word of becoming her mother.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Betty is revealed to be a nickname of hers, her real name is Elizabeth, of which she is named after her grandmother.
  • Secret Legacy: She was very unaware that her grandmother was a witch until fate forced the horsemen, Angela, Lily and her to hide out in her grandmother's house and the situation escalating.

     Nanna

Nanna

The grandmother of Betty whose house Betty takes the group to once the council gets wind of the Horseman and the Anti-Christ. She's also the former girlfriend of Ed from Undead Ed. For info on her from that series. Go there.
  • Ascended Extra: She had a pretty minor role in Undead Ed, here she's allowed to go all out.
  • The Big Guy: Nanna is this among the group of protagonists as she an experienced magic user and is used to help deal with the more tougher opponents.
  • Brutal Honesty: She notes that Angela has a bit of a death wish, even if she's unaware of it, and states this to her point blank to make her realize it.
  • Cute Witch: She starts out in her old age form when introduced, but is able to shift to a much younger form later.
  • Dual Age Modes: She can shift her age with her magic. Starting out old but turning younger when the situation with the horsemen escalates, needing a form that requires more flexibility.
  • Glowing Eyes: Once she decides to help, she goes full power and her eyes are glowing through the remainder of the story.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: After the Hopeless Prisoner/God tells the group the reason for all of the events of the story. Ed appears and greets her, she happily embraces and kisses him and... apparently isn't seen again by the others afterwards.

     Lily

Lily

The Anti-Christ, the daughter of Satan and a human mother. After her mother passed, she was raised in orphanage in Spain, unaware of her heritage... until the time of the story that is.
  • Animals Hate Him: She states that animals don't like her much, dogs especially (though she likewise isn't fond of them either, mostly because in her favorite story, The Wizard of Oz, Toto jumping out of the balloon just as Dorothy and the Wizard were about to take off was the reason Dorothy accidentally got left behind). The only one who isn't frighten by her is Crowley, Nana's cat, and likely because he's associated with a witch and thus the supernatural in general.
  • Anti Anti Christ: Ultimately at the endgame, she really doesn't want to hurt anyone, let alone plunge the world into the apocalypse. Angela uses this to talk her down with going through with it.
  • Be Yourself: A very twisted take on this. She only wants to help her uncles and her "friends" convince her to to convince Warrace, Melvin and Pesty to not deny who they are and give in to the true nature. Since said nature are the embodiment of all the negative traits of humanity, that's not a good thing. Likewise when Ozzam reveals her as the Anti-Christ, she figures if that's the case, then she'll just go along with it.
  • Children Are Innocent: Why she's so effective as an anti-Christ: she doesn't really know better. Acting as a kid her age would and genuinely wanting to help people (namely her "uncles" and Lady Babel when she joins her side). Losing her mother and living as an orphan didn't do her much favors growing up, so when she finds out there's a way to meet her father. She jumps at the chance... even if it means plunging the world into Armageddon. Luckily, it's also because of this innocence that Angela is able appeal to it and to talk her down in the climax.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Had a human mother, and naturally with her father being Lucifer... yeah.
  • Happily Adopted: In the epilogue, Angela and Betty officially adopt her.
  • Hearing Voices: Her "friends" as she put it who offer her "advice" on how to help her "uncles". They're really demonic spirits.
  • If You're So Evil, Eat This Kitten!: At one point, she gets into an argument with Bellsing about harming innocents, proclaiming life is nothing but a lie and worthless. However she's presented with the opportunity to fire a tank shell into a crowd of infected and council agents. Bellsing actually encourages her to do it to prove her earlier point, but she hesitates and ultimately can't do it (much to Bellsing's relief as he was banking on reverse psychology there), though with the flimsy reasoning she didn't want to hit Warrace, Marvin, Pesty and Babel.
  • Mass Hypnosis: Her main power, she can command people to obey her if need be though only when they're emotionally compromised. Though those that are near the horsemen offset the effect a bit.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Her eyes are already red, but when in use of her power, the naturally glow.
  • Samus Is a Girl: She was thought to be a boy by most till it was eventually reveal that she's the devil's daughter. Lucy claims the Devil did this initially so as to throw off people who would be on the look out off her.
  • She's All Grown Up: In the epilogue, which takes place after a lengthy timeskip, she's now a teenage by this point.
  • Wise Beyond Her Years: She's only ten, but knows a lot more a girl her age really should.

The Council

A catholic group that deal in supernatural matters, especially on the hunt for the horsemen and the Anti-Christ.

     Von Bellsing

Von Bellsing

A doctor who is a so-called "expert" on things supernatural. He's a returnee from Undead Ed. For info on him in that series, go there.
  • Ascended Extra: He had a fairly minor role in Undead Ed. Here, he's now more a main character.
  • Dumbass Has a Point: He isn't taken at all seriously in the council despite his membership as many see him as a bumbling fraud. But despite this, the man is very observant and often points out certain things that become poignant later (such as how silver is more a deterrent then gold) and question any behavior of Ozzam that doesn't make any sense. Even some of the higher ups begrudgingly acknowledge that he was right later in the story when things start hitting the fan.
  • Happily Married: In the epilogue, Babel and he are revealed to have gotten married during the timeskip.
  • Herr Doktor: Continuing the gag from Undead Ed, he still keeps up the German facade to make himself look more professional. Many, of course, don't fall for it.
  • Mirror Character: With Babel, both just want to be acknowledged and respected, but have a hard time getting over their flaws to do so. Ironically when they air out their grievances in the climax of the story, they both shout, simultaneously, that the other never gave them a chance.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: He finds out later that Babel is a witch and is the one to point that out to Ozzam. He was thinking she would just get her membership revoked, but is horrified when Ozzam goes Van Helsing Hate Crime on her which in turn sparks her Face–Heel Turn. Babel holds a grudge over him for it up till the climax. He does try to save her though once she's bound.
  • Morality Pet: Surprisingly becomes one to Lady Babel. It's his good nature that offsets her stoic-ness, especially when she performs a Face–Heel Turn and ultimately is able to bring her back from the brink.
  • The Rival: Ultimately Babel and he have this kind of relationship in a bit of one-upmanship regarding how they do their duties for the organization. In the climax, she states this as her Freudian Excuse to turn her back on humanity when arguing with Bellsing who she thinks sees her as an inferior. He states otherwise since he thought the opposite of Babel, but otherwise still respecting her despite her put downs of him.
  • Start My Own: In the epilogue it's revealed Babel and he started their own council, The Order of St. Matthew, to harbor any non-malicious supernaturals from those that would blindly hunt them.

     Father Matthew

Father Matthew

Von Bellsing's friend, colleague and assistant. Likewise a returnee from Undead Ed.
  • Ascended Extra: He had a very extremely minor role in Undead Ed (mostly trying to find Ed to give him some info). Here, his role is a bit more expanded.
  • Due to the Dead: In the epilogue, Bellsing states the new council they made was named after him.
  • Killed Off for Real: He dies due to Pesty killing him with an accelerated disease while trying incapacitate Babel with a hag stone and to get in close to kill Lily with holy water. It wasn't for nothing though since it allowed Nanna, Oscar and Bellsing to slip away unnoticed.

     Lady Babel

Lady Babel /Babylon

One of the members of the council who can wield magic. She has a strenuous relationship with Von Bellsing.
  • The Atoner: By the epilogue of the story, she's doing all she can to make up for her actions after nearly bringing about the apocalypse.
  • Broken Pedestal: Ozzam when it's revealed that he was really Heinrich Himmler, a notorious Nazi and upon finding out he was using her to prologue his life.
  • Cute Witch: Becomes pretty obvious she is one way before the reveal. The irony is that she didn't know she was one until about halfway through the story, thinking the powers were just a gift of God, and vehemently denies it until Ozzam's true nature is revealed.
  • Glowing Eyes: As with most witches in the story, her eyes glow when at full power.
  • Happily Married: In the epilogue, Bellsing and she are revealed to have gotten married during the timeskip.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Suffers from this, she shows jealously that a bumbler like Bellsing could get a seat on the council when someone with more expertise like her couldn't, which is one of the reason why she's so devoted Ozzam and has such hostility to Bellsing. Though likewise thinks there's some gender bias as well. This is what helps fuels her Face–Heel Turn after she finds out who Ozzam really is. In the climax, Bellsing has to spell out point blank he never felt superior to her and has always respected her, but she was too bitter and proud to ever hear him out.
  • Mirror Character: With Bellsing, both just want to be acknowledged and respected, but have a hard time getting over their flaws to do so. Ironiclly when they air out their grievances in the climax of the story, they both shout, simultaneously, that the other never gave them a chance.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: Upon finding out she was being used by Ozzam to prologue his life, she decides to ally with Lily, Warrace, Melvin and Pesty to start the apocalypse. Only being talked down by Bellsing at a critical moment.
  • The Heavy: Upon switching to Lily and the Horsemen's side, she becomes the leading threat of the bunch, acting as Lily's bodyguard of sorts.
  • The Rival: Ultimately Bellsing and she have this kind of relationship in a bit of one-upmanship regarding how they do their duties for the organization. In the climax, she states this as her Freudian Excuse to turn her back on humanity when arguing with Bellsing who she thinks sees her as an inferior. He states otherwise since he thought the opposite of Babel, but otherwise still respecting her despite her put downs of him.
  • Start My Own: In the epilogue it's revealed Bellsing and she started their own council, The Order of St. Matthew, to harbor any non-malicious supernaturals from those that would blindly hunt them.

     Ozzam

Ozzam /Heinrich Himmler

The leader of the council that hunt malicious supernaturals. Later revealed to be an aged Heinrich Himmler, a former top ranking member of the Nazis.
  • Body Horror: He gets infected by Pesty and it's not a pretty sight.
  • Hypocrite: Back in the past as a Nazi, he committed genocide against the Jewish under his leader deranged belief for "purification". Yet it's from studying Jewish faith that allowed him to take control of Oblivion.
  • No Body Left Behind: Completely vaporized by Babel once Warrace outs his true identity.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Fever had helped stop Hunger and was set to reconcile with Pesty, which could've stopped the apocalypse from happening. Only for Ozzam to stab her from behind with his staff. Killing her and causing Pesty to both regain his power and perform a Face–Heel Turn.
  • Van Helsing Hate Crime: Once he confirms Babel to be a witch, he quickly condemns her and has her bound and set for execution despite Bellsing stating she's been nothing but loyal to his cause.

     The Husher

The Husher/Oblivon/Oby

A mysterious bandaged figure, often accompanying Ozzam and Babel.
  • Bandaged Face: His face is completely covered in bandages, adding to his mysterious nature. They eventually come off when Angela starts smacking him in a fit of rage.
  • Cessation of Existence: His main power, if he hits anyone with it, they're gone, soul and all. The only one it doesn't work on is Mot since his existence is tied to humanity.
  • Dem Bones: Like his master, he's a walking skeleton.
  • Made a Slave: Mot finds out there's a Jewish glyph carved into him and, after taking back his power, discovers Ozzam/Heinrich had found and took control of him through it, effectively turning Oblivion into his slave. While Heinrich's death loosen the spell somewhat, he still carried out his orders to find and eliminate Mot which he technically does when Mot lets him kill him. Luckily Mot manages to revive from the attempt.
  • The Voiceless: Doesn't utter a word of dialogue through his appearances.
  • The Reveal: He's really Mot's old warhorse, Oblivion. The reason he was never with the other horses was because Mot stripped him of any personality so as not to run rampant after he set him free. He came under Ozzam's power until his death by Babel to which Oblivion sought out Mot once again.

     The Grandmaster

The Grandmaster

An elderly council member who takes over after Ozzam is indisposed.
  • Butt-Monkey: Poor guy is completely in over his head once Lily, Babel, Warrace, Marvin and Pesty start activating the Armageddon seals. He puts on a brave front but finds himself on the run and humiliated through the climax. Culminating with the council he was leading being disbanded after the threat has passed and all the dark secrets of it finally get out.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Slightly. When he meets with Betty's grandmother and notes instantly she's a witch, he does hear her out when she warns them of what Lily, Babal and three of the horsemen are up to and doesn't attack her once she finishes. That said however his action are very gung-ho even when Lily tries to tell them she doesn't want to fight them (granted her trying to start the apocalypse regardless isn't doing her any favors)

New Horsemen

The new horsemen who have taken up their predecessor's reigns of causing conflict in the world.

     Hatred

Hatred

Warrace's war horse given a humanoid form, he's taken over his role as the new horseman of war. But is angered at the horsemen abandoning him and the other horses and seeks revenge.
  • Defiant to the End: Even when Warrace beats him, he continues to spit vile at him and ultimately forces Warrace to stab him.
  • Enemy Without: It's explained that, along with being a horse, he's Warrace's rage given form and, when defeated and absorbed back into the sword, allowed Warrace access back to that part of his power.
  • Go Out with a Smile: He "dies" content that he made Warrace question his morality and knowing that it's only a matter of time before he's forced to use the sword that contains his power.
  • One-Winged Angel: The more conflict he causes allows him to absorb more power. By the time Warrace and Lily run into him, he's a hulking beast.
  • Revenge: Of the four, he was the most affected by the Horsemen leaving them behind and wants to make Warrace pay for the perceived betrayal.
  • Would Hit a Girl: He backhands Fever when she tries to placate him that they're doing what their predecessors couldn't, ranting that that's not what he wanted since he wanted to confront Warrace.

     Hunger

Hunger/Ger

Marvin's war horse, likewise given a humanoid form. He's taken over the role of the horseman of famine.
  • Big Eater: If his namesake didn't give it away, he eats a lot. Namely he feeds on the ravenous of desperation.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: He tortures Angela's ex, Oscar, in order to get answers on where to find Angela and in turn, the horseman.
  • Enemy Without: It's stated that, along with being Marvin's horse, he Marvin's cruelty given form as well.
  • Fat Bastard: He was already fairly large being true to his namesake. By the time Marvin, Betty and Nanna confront him, he's practically a blob due to absorbing so much power by causing starvation in people and having them eat one another.
  • Sadist: He wasn't a saint before, but after receiving Marvin's scales, he goes full boar into this. Forcing those that aren't turned into zombies to eat one another and torturing Oscar despite him cooperating with his demands. Again though, he was Marvin's cruelty, so it makes sense.

     Fever

Fever/Fi

Pesty's war horse, whose also taken a humanoid form. She's taken over the role as the horseman (or woman in this case) of pestilence.
  • Big Damn Heroes: She saves Marvin, Pesty, Nanna and Betty from Hunger just before he kills them.
  • Back from the Dead: Well more like reformed. At the end of the story, it's shown Pesty used his powers (via causing the COVID 19 pandemic) to bring her back.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: After she's stabbed, she collapses into Pesty's arms before being absorbed into Pesty's old bow.
  • Enemy Without: A side comic has Lucy finding out Fever is Pesty's narcissism given form as, back in the past, he was the most arrogant of the Horsemen.
  • In the Back: Ozzam stabs her from behind with his staff.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: She manages to stop Hunger from killing Marvin, but this likewise caused his power to reform back into the scale he was using. Exactly as Lucy wanted since it would allow Marvin access back to his power.
  • Plaguemaster: Her main power, at first only restrained to smaller diseases. When she's given a mystical bow, she uses it to create a full on Zombie Apocalypse.
  • Token Good Teammate: Save Oblivion, her heart really isn't with the other horse's objectives and she only goes along with them just to not be alone. After witnessing the fight between Warrace and Hatred and a chance meeting with Lucy, she realizes they've been duped and tries to stop the plan further by stopping Hunger from killing Marvin.

Others

     Lucy

Lucy

The Devil's top secretary. She seeks out the horsemen's former horses to help kickstart the apocalypse. But seems to likewise have ulterior motives. A returnee from Undead Ed.
  • Affably Evil: Speaks cordially and professionally, is straight to the point and willing to answer any questions. But, being a devil, naturally isn't one to be trusted.
  • Ascended Extra: She had a fairly small role in Undead Ed, largely to finally give Ed answers. Here, her role's much more expanded and this time, much more malicious.
  • As Long as There Is Evil: Says as much after the climax when Armageddon is stopped. Stating they may have prevented it this time, but sooner or later, the evil forces will activate it. It's one of the few times she actually looks displeased.
  • He Was Right There All Along: It's revealed she was "Damocles" spirit guiding Babel, having taken on his guise after he was killed to personally manipulate things. Once Babel throws in with the Anti-Christ, she reveals she knew she wasn't her fallen friend since Lucy forgot to keep up the accent.
  • Imposter Forgot One Detail: She takes on the role of Damocles, Babel's friend that was killed early in the comic and acts as a Spirit Advisor to her. But after Babel's Face–Heel Turn, she sees through Lucy's deception, stating Lucy kept forgetting Damocles' accent.
  • Manipulative Bitch: Not surprisingly as she is the devil's secretary. She manipulates the New Horsemen into attacking Reading to draw out the true horsemen in order for them to start the apocalypse.
  • Sincerity Mode: Near the end, when Lily asks her if her father really loved her. Lucy sincerely states she believes he does, stating if there's one thing Heaven and Hell do agree on, it's love.

     The Hopeless Prisoner

The Hopeless Prisoner

A female prisoner who, even though wasn't her time to die yet, has crossed the Despair Event Horizon and personally asked the Horsemen for death, setting off their Heel–Face Turn.
  • Despair Event Horizon: The events of World War II traumatized her so badly that she pretty much asked for death despite it wasn't her time. Mot reluctantly obliges.
  • God Was My Co-Pilot: Turns out she was God the whole time, trying to show the horsemen and Lily that they have free will just as any being on the planet and can live as they see fit.
  • I Have Many Names: Not only was the prisoner in question, but a hobo who leads Angela to the horsemen's hideout and even Father Matthew on a few occasins.

     The Devil

The Devil

Just as the title says, the dark ruler of the underworld and former "boss" of the horsemen, seeking to start the apocalypse.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: When Lily ask Lucy if he truly does love her, Lucy answer that, despite his evil status, he really does as even he can agree with Heaven that love is something to be cherished.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Pretty much behind all the machinations involving Lily and the Horsemen with Lucy acting as his main agent. The main goal being to trigger the apocalypse with so many souls weighed down by sin, proving God fallible and wiping out all of creation.
  • The Ghost: He's never seen on screen at all through the series.
  • Near-Villain Victory: Comes severely close to kickstarting the apocalypse as the seal to trigger it was only one unlock away to do so. With it all depending on Lily, Mot was set to kill her if he had to but Angela manages to talk her down at the critical moment, ultimately cancelling it.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: He gleefully admits the truth to Mot about wanting to use him for his plans, even point blank calling the horsemen his "tools". This triggers a My God, What Have I Done? from Mot and his Heel–Face Turn. Ironically this was around World War II, when conflict was at its highest and nearly on the verge of starting the apocalypse the first time.

     Oscar

Oscar

Angela's ex-boyfriend from college
  • Body Horror: He's affected heavily by Hunger with boils over his body. He gets better though.
  • Defiant to the End: Despite all the torture Hunger puts him through, he remains steadfast against him.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He's a bystander in the grand scheme of things but provides Angela an "Eureka!" Moment in the climax of the story when she realizes he read her article which in turn allowed him to see the horsemen when they're suppose to be Invisible to Normals, allowing her to realize it was faith that gave him the ability to do so. Thus allowing Angela to find out how she can save everyone.
  • Understanding Boyfriend: Tried to be, he forgives Angela for using him to get a story during their college days that got her expelled. Angela's self-loathing however, wouldn't allow her to accept it, causing the two to break up.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: He survives the events of the comi,c but no word on what happened to him after the climax of the story.

     Spoiler Character

Ed Zamza

The previous protagonist of Undead Ed. He's brought back as a ghost in the climax of the story by Mot.
  • The Cameo: Essentially a byproduct of Mot using his powers to revive the dead as ghosts to help him hold back his fellow horsemen. He's utterly confused why he's there. Though does take the opportunity to rectify a mistake from the previous series by kissing his girlfriend.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: After he meets up with Nanna and they kiss, its unknown what happened to the two of them.
