This was too much

Let me preface this by saying that I watched this film as part of a bad movie night. In other words, I went in expecting it to be garbage, there were people there riffing it with me, and I had already built up quite the tolerance for bad movies. In other words, the perfect storm for enjoying a movie that was otherwise a total piece of shit. NONE OF IT HELPED! DEAR GOD, NONE OF IT HELPED!

The first 45 minutes of this film was the worst I've seen anywhere. Nothing happened. The acting was on par with an elementary school play, only without the cute little kids factor, and nothing much was happening. There was a bit of shoehorned environmentalism, and a bad love story.

The second half of the movie was even worse. Poorly-rendered CGI birds started killing everyone. And by "killing everyone," I mean "just kind of hovering there, and making the same noise over and over again." The acting managed to somehow get worse, and the already bad soundtrack went even further downhill. The environmental message became so heavy-handed that it made Captain Planet look subtle by comparison. There were more holes in the plot than in all the world's swiss cheese. And despite our best attempts to riff it, we could not make it more tolerable.

This was, hands down, the worst movie that I have ever seen. I would not recommend it to anyone. Not even a seasoned B-movie veteran looking for something new to riff. Stay away from this movie if you value your sanity.

Whomever did the Rifftrax must be extremely masochistic. This movie was awful on all counts, it wasn't even hilariously bad. I've seen my fair share of horrible movies (Teenagers Battle The Thing, assorted Gamera movies, Robot Monster, The Atomic Brain, the Carnosaurs series, I could go on and on) but this is seriously up there with the worst. It's a shameful rip off of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds as well. This movie would make any environmentalist cry themselves to sleep because of how poorly it handled the message.

I'd give it 0.5/5 stars (the 0.5 is only because it wasn't 100% unwatchable).

War is God.

i kind of agree a little bit, but i think it had some great So Bad Its Good aspects to it, especially in them middle.

I actually did see the Rifftrax live showing of this film. Yes, that's pretty much the only way I'd ever enjoy the film, and that's only because of the riffing. Hangin' Out With My Family is somewhat catchy but damn are the lyrics pretty creepy when you look into it. But man, at least Manos: The Hands of Fate had some semblance of cinematography, while this had none.

I now go by Graf Von Tirol.

I thought the movie was hilariously bad during the second half. I was cracking up and enjoying myself, so I got something out of it.

I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!

In other words .... I have to watch this movie! ^-^

If it's THAT bad, then I'll give it a check.
