As per the TRS discussion, moving ambiguous examples here. They need details or clarification that the person got drunk from only a small amount of alcohol.

Anime/Manga

  • Kyousuke from Kimagure Orange Road.
  • In Axis Powers Hetalia, the nations once tried to get England drunk so he would go to sleep and shut up. It made him behave even worse.
  • Sano from Hana Kimi starts kissing anyone near him when he's drunk. Cue Ho Yay moments.
  • Hisoka in Yami No Matsuei after horking Tsuzuki's wine (though to be fair, the kid is only sixteen and rather scrawny).
  • Happens to Hitomi in Escaflowne. Justified as not only is she a 15-year-old girl, but she is on another planet with unfamiliar, strong liquor.
  • In Tsukigasa, Kuroe is drinking his father's sake while he's gone and dares the 16 year old Azuma to try it too. It turns out he's a total lightweight and an affectionate drunk, which takes a turn for the worse when this leads to sex and the extremely drunk Azuma calls up some trauma from his past, hallucinates that Kuroe is his rapist uncle, and grabs a sword and cuts Kuroe's arm off.
  • Something of a plot point in Kiss X Sis. Keita loses his inhibitions towards his sisters, while Riko passes out. Ako tries to take advantage of this several times. Unfortunately, Keita tends to pass out fairly quickly as well.
  • Milly Thompson of Trigun seems to get very drunk, very fast, as seen in episode 10
  • Akane in Kanokon gets drunk very easily, usually enough to make hilarity ensue. When drinking a Love Potion in form of liquor, she became enamored with the bottle.

Comic Books

Fan Fics

Film

  • Jason in Mystery Team. Mind you, he is an underage kid who generally drinks nothing stronger than chocolate milk.
  • The 1945 all-star MGM film Ziegfeld Follies includes a routine in which Red Skelton plays a television announcer doing a commercial for a product called "Guzzler's Gin", and quickly getting loaded on the product. (The bit, which originated with Skelton's stage act and was reprised by him many times on radio and TV, was almost certainly a direct inspiration for the better-known Vitameatavegamin episode of I Love Lucy; see "Live Action Television", below.)

Live-Action TV

  • Urkel got drunk really fast in an Anvilicious episode of Family Matters. Well, he is light and skinny...
  • James from All Creatures Great And Small can't hold his drink, at least not compared to some of the other heavy drinkers he hangs out with. Still, almost every character on the show gets disgustingly drunk at one point, even Mrs. Hall.

Video Games

  • Sumire Kanzaki in Sakura Wars gets drunk ridiculously easily — which might be a good thing, as she's much nicer drunk than she is sober.
  • Daxter gets completely wasted in one scene in Jak II. Possibly justified by his small stature and the fact that he chugged so much in so little time. Surprisingly, we never see him inebriated again, despite the fact that he eventually comes to own the bar himself.
  • Low-Constitution characters in Neverwinter Nights will fall over and pass out during the drinking contest in the Docks district. A character with minimum Con (8) and a potion of Endurance (pushes it to 12) has about a 50% chance of beating that particular contest.
    • The fan-made module A Dance With Rogues has a bit meant to imply that your character can't hold her liquor at all, by having an almost unbeatable drinking contest with a dwarf and some very embarrassing results when (not if, when) you lose.

Web Comics

Western Animation

  • Barney of The Simpsons was like this, aside from when he decided to go sober.
  • Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, probably as part of his "bad at everything but making things worse" schtick.
  • King Of The Hill: In a flashback where the guys are out on the town before Bill goes into the Army, Hank is seen to be a really bad drunk — Bill has to hold off some guys Hank's pissed off.
  • Home Movies: McGuirk, beer-swilling lout, is haranguing Lynch, prissy teacher, to join him on a trip to Mexico for a group discount. Once they're there, who is the loud, stupid, messy drunk? (Hint: it's not McGuirk.)
