It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. It's done that to me, too. I'm trying to add a new example to Two Girls to a Team, yet when I click on Preview, it just gives a blank plage.
I weirdly had the issue on one page but not on another. I couldn't save my edit on Venom: Main Hosts, but I could edit X-Men.
Same. I have tried to edit different pages many times, but more often than not, it redirects me to the main page without saving the edits

Doing that to me too for The Voiceless.
Having the same problems. Seems like you can edit work pages, like forms of Literature or Video Games or even YMMV pages, but you can't add examples to trope pages, nor can you edit Character pages.

Same! Also, when I tried editing The Atoner, that happened too. And that was on the Main subpage!
Might it be something about the pages? Can't add a new Your Mom example.

We are looking into this issue now
The bug is essentially random. I managed to finally edit the pages I wanted by insisting (using the backward button of my browser to recover the edit page), and it worked on the second try in one case and on the third try in another.
I have this problem, too. Clicking the back button and then saving the edits worked at first, but not anymore.
I hope this is corrected soon, because I'd really like to edit the Everyone Has Standards page so I can better rephrase the entry on the new trope Even the Loving Hero Has Hated Ones.
^ I also want it fixed ASAP, so I can make the edits I want to make to Two Girls to a Team, Cross Media A To G, and any other pages I want to edit.

I say just give the admins some time to fix the bug and any edits you wanna make later keep saved in a text file or something. That's what I'm doing for now.

Try now. I see the problem. The logs filled up the hard drives to 100%. I just cleared them. It should start working now. I don't know why the logrotate wasn't working. We'll get that fixed.
