Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I brushed off their first comment as a tongue-in-cheek attempt at self-demonstrating the "edgelord" idea, but it's clear that now they're just deliberately being an asshole. And the TF comments are eyerolling because they're mocking the aspect of the comment that would actually make it a trope (a wrecking ball existing for Rule of Cool, as opposed to just wrecking balls existing).
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. They openly admitted to being an asshole, so they know they're being rude but don't care.
He also responded to a TF post I made in a rather harsh tone. Not only that, he criticized the reason I brought up the two tropes, a work page I'm planning to create, and only barely touched on the tropes themselves.
They're continuing to derail the wrecking ball TF post. I think a mod should lock it.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Yeah, this is looking like vandalism or the equivalent to me.
Suspended them from TLP and queries.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnfortunately I'm still a bit concerned about them as they used a bad TLP to criticize other tropers who weren't even in the conversation. (I also personally very much disagree that Synchronocity is condescending or not helpful.)
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Gave a stern warning. They're already on thin ice as it is.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThey responded to my trope finder with a response that, at the very least, seemed like a major overreaction to me responding to it once and saying the trope they offered "seems not to have the same setup": https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=97421&type=lnf
[surprised Pikachu face]
They just left a rude comment on the draft "Alien Works".
Spoiler alert i want to blow my brains out almost every day of my life. Fuck it.
^ So you basically just admitted that you only participated just to be a dick to people and nothing else.
No i'm admitting i want to blow my brains out.
Should i direct my hatred towards myself at other people? Absolutely not. So just fucking delete my account please.
^ ^Let's leave it alone. I alerted Berrenta, if anyone else wants to contact another mod go ahead, but let's not reply after this post.
Edited by WarJay77 Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThey've just sent me a PM accusing me of having a problem with them for bombing their draft when there were unwarranted hats.
^Oops sorry, ninja'd.
Edited by SynchronicityI'll change my password to random characters and log out. That way i can't even log in to appeal a ban or anything. I won't be a nuisance to you anymore.
Sorry i wanted to propose an index.
^ Go get professional help. I mean this sincerely. Taking out anger towards yourself on other people isn't healthy, not to mention leads to things like this.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99ยขI think it's best we lock this thread to avoid popcorning on the disturbing comments. (Can a mod blank any of them?)
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
I'm concerned that the troper Nepworks is being rather rude to people. They're being pretty confrontational and mean on this TLP draft; while a lot of tropers including myself have concerns about the draft, they're being the most aggressive about it. They're also being rather mocking on this TF query.
