Sitting on the Roof for contemplating the world from up high. Doesn't have to be a literal roof: for instance Spiderman hangs out on top of bridges a lot when he's feeling angsty
Girl in the Tower for this representing someone's isolation
Scenery-Based Societal Barometer when the view reflects the current situation in the setting
If they're looking at the sky you can have things like Watching the Sunset, Stargazing Scene, and Melancholy Moon
