Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I think it's just custom-title abuse. I've submitted a correction as "Going to the Store".
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Ah, no. There's a work called Going To The Store that indeed uses lowercaps. In that case, it should be moved to somewhere else to prevent custom title collision, like what was done with This Means War! (now at This Means War (2012)) and This Means War!.
Edited by SynchronicityMaybe we could take the trope to TRS to rename it so it won't collide with the work. It only has 35 wicks (after over a decade of usage) anyway.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Eh... I feel like the trope should take precedence here. Moving a page is not hard and the page has only six wicks.
What should it be moved to? WebAnimation.Going To The Store 2011?
Edited by Synchronicity^Sounds good to me.
^^Renaming a trope to avoid a name collision with a rather obscure work doesn’t sound right. Besides, with the current TRS backlog it will take months before a renaming can take place, if ever. Adding a year to the work page title is, on the other hand, easy.
Edited by GnomeTitanBumping to note that I did the move.
The URL title of Food Fight is clearly two words, and yet the trope title displays it as one word because of the movie Foodfight! (which is only supposed to be one word).
At least Food Fight kinda makes sense with the wiki word?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt still collides with the work.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Well, that's a harder case with 200+ wicks and subpages. This might not be the last we'll see of this, so... Project time?
^^ Right, I'm not disputing that, just that "Foodfight!" makes more sense than "going to the grocery store".

Is there a particular reason the trope title for Going to the Store is in all-lowercase? all lowercase letters at least has it as a self-referential joke.
