Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Reading Headscratchers.Home Page, I'm starting to think that Headscratchers is supposed to be just for the questions, and people shouldn't be putting in answers at all.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. That answer creeps me out, because it was clear this was never the parents' intention.
Delete it. Not only is the entry disturbing beyond belief, but it was added by Hanzheyingle, who has been banned from the Wiki.
^^^ Isn't the point of Headscratchers to ask a question and get replies? Fridge Logic is the one that can't be replied to

RIP KissAnime.I think in theory questions and answers about the work would go on discussion pages. But since those never get used...
^ Discussion pages are for talking about the page, not the work itself.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness@wingedcatgirl: Headscratchers.Home Page says “ This is for sincere questions, and discussing Fridge Logic” and “It would also be a good idea to put possible answers you have in the Fridge Brilliance section”. Those seem contradictory claims on if Headscraters allows on pages answers. My stance is Headscraters needs answers to keep it from devolving to complaining. But there was talk of Headscraters cleanup and this seem like another reason.
Yeah, I still want a headscratchers cleanup project.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI think this is getting a bit offtopic. The report was about a specific question, not about the general purpose (and yes, answers are allowed).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI would say the answer needs reworded to make it more in-universe, because it could be a valid in-universe explanation. Although it is not explicitly the answerer's opinion as written, it does sure seem that way. Fiction often does have unpleasant explanations for its characters' actions and motivations within them, so just being an unpleasant answer ought not to be enough to remove it. If an answer is dark or due to in-universe unpleasantness, then it should be made explicitly clear that it is from in-universe perspective.
Is any answer allowed in Headscratchers? Because I found a disturbingly sociopathic one in Headscratchers.A Quiet Place that basically says it's perfectly logical and acceptable to use your own children as bait, and they can be easily replaced by having another child with no real loss.
I would just delete it, but I want to check with everyone else if that's okay.
