The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
The key deciding thing here is the personalities and nuances that go with the appearances; any combination of the following (and several related tropes) can be involved:
- Big Guy, Little Guy applies to some of these; say if the tall one is something like a Girly Bruiser and the short one is the brains of the pair
- Bifauxnen and Lad-ette is when the two have a masculine thing going on between the two of them, the ladette being the well endowed but macho(relatively) one, the bifauxnen being the more androgenous but also more refined one.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl - similar to the previous, but shifted more toward the feminine side of the spectrum
- Red Oni, Blue Oni is for when one of them, usually the tall busty one, is really passionate, impulsive, and/or ditzy and the other is reserved and pensive.
- Light Feminine and Dark Feminine - the pairing can go either direction on which is light and which is dark- mousy genki girl or tall extroverted athlete, that sort of thing.
- Little Guy, Big Buddy can pop up if the tall one acts a sort of big sister to the short one.
No, there isn't one about contrasting bust sizes specifically, but I'm personally unsure if that's a trope the wiki needs. If we're talking how they feel about said bust sizes, tropes like A-Cup Angst (the flatter one feels insecure about it) or Buxom Is Better (the bustier one is seen as more attractive because of it).
Alright… That will probably do. Thanks!
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.
Is there a trope for pairs of girls (romantic, friends or even enemies) where one is tall and well-endowed while the other has a smaller stature? Kase-san comes to mind, but that's a pattern I'm pretty sure I've seen elsewhere…
There's Big Guy, Little Guy, but I'm not sure that's quite the same thing…
