Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
You can poke them regarding Edit Reasons and Why You Should Use Them and remind them of this thread.
Regarding the examples, users aren't supposed to verify after others if an example is present in the trailer or not. The ones that do cite materials I'm not confident about without SupernaturalMurderHobo's comment.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSeveral of the commented out entries, especially Theme Mobile, are ZCE.
Reading the description for Version-Exclusive Content, I think a lot of those bullets may actually be misuse.

Howcome?
I agree with the ZCE crit. A lot of the examples assume familiarity with Pokemon. Example:
- Giant Enemy Crab: One of the Titan Pokémon fought in the "Seek Your Treasure!" trailer is a massive Klawf.
What is a Klawf? Is that a crab?
- Underground Monkey: Regional variants return, with the first confirmed being Paldean Wooper, which is a Poison/Ground type.
What is a "regional variant"? Being a "Poison/Ground type" doesn't mean anything to people who don't know what a Wooper is.
Edited by SynchronicityThey've done the same thing for Sonic Frontiers, commenting out even tropes with entries that mention they were seen in official trailers and on the official game's website.
^ As for those two entries, they could still fit, they just need a bit more context. For example:
- Giant Enemy Crab: One of the Titan Pokémon fought in the "Seek Your Treasure!" trailer is a massive Klawf, a Rock-type crab Pokemon (also referred to as the "Stony Cliff Titan").
- Underground Monkey: Regional variants return, with the first confirmed being Paldean Wooper, which is a Poison/Ground type, as opposed to the Water/Ground type Wooper seen in other regions.
^^^VEC talks a lot about how Bonus (skippable) content can vary from console to console, etc.
In this case, we are dealing with two separate games. Each has different set of core framing locations and characters, and a unique pokemon.
Edited by underCoverSailsmanExactly. So the commenting out is justified.
Be aware that ~Bobthe Boldore reverted pretty much all of SMH's edits on the pokemon page.
At least the ThemeMobile example was by BobtheBoldore, so it's technically an editwar now.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThis is probably paranoia, but they’e a rather new account diving into cleanup for upcoming works like a certain prolific ban evader…
SoundCloudI assume you mean SupernaturalMurderHobo. Most of their first edits being at She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which is a chronic bad-faith magnet, makes it sound plausable.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSupernaturalMurderHobo turned out to be another HighCrate sock based on geolocation. I'll have to go over the rest of the discussion regarding BobtheBoldore's edits.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I think SCC means High Crate
(Whoops, ninja'd)
Edited by Libraryseraph Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?I checked the page history and suspended BobtheBoldore because of repeated instances of uncommenting examples that have no citations. Go ahead and add the comment markup back for examples that lack citations (or add citations if you have them); feel free to cite this post.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. For what it's worth, I've also reported the HighCrate account to the ban evader reversion thread.
Edited by gjjones He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. Is the idea to revert *every* edit by a ban evader, or just the bad ones? Because randomtroper89 just uncommented every comment tag on Sonic Frontiers without adding any citations, which I thought was what just got Bobthe Boldore in trouble.
Uh I hate to be that guy, but, as I said, in the BERT, ^ is not only a brand-new account that immediately went to defend HC, but their edits consist of commenting-out ZCEs, just like HC, and they are acting suspiciously like someone who's been here a while.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallThe principle for ban evasion is that it makes every single edit in error. If other editors wish to re-make the edit in a slightly different fashion (such as by adding citations or explaining what is missing while commented-out), we encourage editors to do so. This is why we have a dedicated cleanup thread for editors to coordinate the removal/reversion of Ban Evaders, as mentioned ^^^. Please continue related discussion in that thread.
^ Yes, we've confirmed that. Edited by crazysamaritan Link to TRS threads in project mode here.
^ Wait, so does that mean they're HC? If they are, I'm going to let BERT know.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallEdit: Sorry, just meant as a goof but I guess it came off harsh. Have a nice day.
Edited by huskiermango^ And that's just rude. I was only checking out of an abundance of caution.
EDIT: I see your edit. I'm retracting my comment.
Edited by themayorofsimpleton TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallFor the record, huskiermango was also a HighCrate sock and was bounced earlier.
Anyway, I'm locking this because I think everything's been resolved.

Supernatural Murder Hobo has commented out a lot of examples on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet since yesterday, even ones that cite specific trailers. And even for the ones that don't, I think it's better practice to add the citations instead of just hiding the entry.
