OK, so if "looking evil" is your criterion, your images do an even worse job. The first pretty much looks an AIM avatar and the latter is a File Not Found.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. Those are all nice set ups, but unfortunately they do not show the actual "deal" between the user and the Devil being made. The trope is not necessarily about the devil, rather the actual transaction that took place.
At least the Pat F image show Dr. Facilier in the act.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I don't really have a problem with the current picture. Though Deboss' suggestions would make fine Image Links
I love the current image, due to, yeah, as people said above, the "transaction" is shown taking place, and the quote it goes with is perfect.
Then again, I did add the image, so I'm undoubtedly a little biased towards it.
Was that you that slapped Princess And The Frog images everywhere? It took months to clean all of them up.
Fight smart, not fair.I don't recall putting them everywhere; just Deal with the Devil and Living Shadow. Oh, and replacing the Spoiled Sweet one that was already there.
Deal with the devil◊ Pretty clear to me...
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Pat F? @ Mattonymy
Princess and the Frog.
^^Why are they furries?

How about this image from Fallout 3?◊

New theme music also a boxDammit, and I just went back to start catching up on Dungeons And Denizens, how did I miss that?
Fight smart, not fair. The current image is perfectly fine. I see no reason to change it.
You said that, yes?
Anyway, I think this one◊ that was previously suggested looks pretty good. Evil creature, evil seal on an evil contract.
I have a message from another time...That's a contract, that's not the deal. Plus the trope isn't just about the deal itself, it's about the literal transaction that was made between Beelzebub and his client.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Wait, so it's bad because it's a contract, not a deal... and yet the trope is not about the deal itself, but a contract?
???
I have a message from another time...from the main trope page
The reason why the image of the contract itself is not a good visual representation of Deal with the Devil is that it's all set up. The image does not show the actual transaction or any sort of crooked deal between the devil and the client, just that the paper itself is "devilish". For all we know, this might just be Devil's Stationary.
If we were going to use a contract image, we should use one of the devil actually tempting someone to sign something (like the original image, Madrugada's and Ultimatum's). Additionally, because the trope encompasses all crooked deals (not just the devil's), the image should portray an all encompassing "Dishonest Agreement".

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.GhostRider should have some good images, if in fact The Princess And The Frog isn't clear enough. Though I think it is.
I think the current image is perfect, as it does show the deal being struck. The only other thing I could suggest would be a screenshot of Ariel signing Ursula's contract from The Little Mermaid.
I think a good majority of people who posted in here are fine with the current image.
I say that unless someone comes up with a serious contender that everyone agrees is better, we lock this.
Actually, there only seem to be two out of a much larger group that like it. I don't think it's a good page image. It could certainly be better.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThree.
He is wearing a hat with a skull and crossbones, the lighting is red and black, his arms are crossed. Seems Obviously Evil to me.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. If you're going to play with semantics, five out of the twelve of us on here specifically said we're fine with it, and only one of the other seven people was actually against it.
And no other suggestions brought up were as good.

I don't think it's as clear that the guy is evil. Shadowy yes, but I'd like something more blunt. Current.
