Haven't read it, but looking at the examples list...Yikes. That's a lot of sex-related tropes.

For those that did read it, is there enough non-hentai scenes to allow us to keep? Otherwise, it's worth pulling.

I think this came up in the old interim P5 thread and someone said that most of the actual hentai is limited to doujins the author released. If that's true we could seperate the semi-official doujins out from the actual tropeable material

Yes the agreement was to keep it the main series which was Tamish. And not trope the hentai spin offs. The page needs to note that it only is supposed to trope the non hentai spinoffs. And be cleaned.

Hm. Honey, Hold me Tightly seems to be important enough to keep, though. Going out on a limb here, but an epilogue with the climax of a Romance Arc doesn't really count as a spinoff even if it is hentai.

Needs an extremely thorough clean at the very least, the doujin(s) contain explicit pedo-pandering as well.

After consideration, I'm voting to keep the entire work - including the H-doujins unless there's a reason to get rid of some of them specifically. Taken as a whole, Don't Meddle With My Daughter! is still a superhero parody, and the sex is primarily in service to the joke rather than vice versa (so basically, an inversion of the Excuse Plot).

While the main series contains a ton of sex scenes, there is technically enough plot to keep it and there aren't really pedopandering concerns. So as much as I despise its particular brand of superhero "parody" (what if superheroes but ALL RAPE ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!) pretty firm keep on the main series.

I'm not familiar with the side stories but from the discussion it sounds like they should probably be reviewed on a case-by-case basis or considered together with the main plot as simply an extension of the main story, since they seem to vary from "a group of children rape one of the main characters" to "the development of the other main character's love life".

My main reason for concern with this comes from this Squick entry on YMMV.Dont Meddle With My Daughter

"Even those who'd pick the manga up for the fanservice might be turned off by Athena having sex with a group of child villains to set a trap for them. It's the only such scene in the series."

I'm leaning "cut the spinoffs" based on the pedo scene and other really explicit descriptions I've seen around the site, but I don't know the full context of anything, so I can't definitively judge until someone looks a bit deeper (I'd rather not do that myself for obvious reasons). At the very least, cut whichever book/manga/whatever has that pedo scene in it.

If Ramidel is right about the sex supporting the parody, then I vote keep the main work and cut spinoffs if they pedo-pander.

Alright, so. Does anyone have specific spinoffs that involve kid villains meddling with Athena?

To elaborate on my prior statement, here's a couple of those questionable entries I was talking about. From The Immodest Orgasm, spoilers removed:

• It's how Athena chose to defeat her sister, Artemis, during their duel in chapter 9. Since they were evenly matched in direct combat, Athena gains the upper hand by suddenly making out with her. Then capitalized on Artemis' shame and confusion by 69ing with her 'til her sister climaxed. It gets a full page spread, complete with lightning bolts in the background, amidst Artemis' screams.
• During the "Amazing Eighth Wonder Vol.1". Clara gets possessed by a phallic parasite that causes its host to seek out strong, fertile women. It ends up choosing her mother, Athena. Clara uses her super-speed to create physical copies of herself to gangbang her and ultimately gives the MILF of Steel the mother of all orgasms; causing both of them to pass out from it.^note The parasite is reduced to a withered husk and dies from the energy released by their combined orgasms. Thereby freeing Clara of its control.

I'm almost wondering if we should cut the page, but leave it open to be redone by someone who is familiar with the work.

There's a lot of murkiness as to where examples come from, and it sounds like it may BARELY scrape past the content policy even without those bits.

It's a nuclear option for sure, but this work has been a massive quagmire for the content policy for ages.

The more entry I see from this, the more disgusted I get. I'm not really seeing any story bits that don't justify sex or incest. Until I see solid evidence of that, I'm pretty firmly for cutting.

It's probably worth a detailed check, but I do think it's abundantly clear that whoever was writing the trope list was definitely focused on... certain aspects far more than others.

And I still hold by my "cut until someone wants to go to the effort of recreating the page properly" option.

The first Immodest Orgasm example is someone one-handed troping a single page in a much longer chapter, the second one is I assume from side material.

This is a terrible work for a great many reasons, but I think it’s technically passable by P5. That the page was clearly written while rubbing one out is perhaps something to deal with.

No. We're not cutting it just because it has attracted one-handed troping. If it needs to be cleaned, then there's a projects forum for that.

Looks like this is building to a consensus to clean the page and to disallow troping of the hentai spinoffs.
