They don’t cost anything except a lot of heat and a lot of hydrogen, shoved into a very small area.

Also you die if you touch it, and unlike normal trash cans, you can’t get things back out of it.

Good thing is, if your local celestial body blows up or burns out, a Celestial Trash Can^TM is a decent replacement!
