When I think of this music track, I don't think of Chara and their creepy satanic face. I think of my best friend. He's a great guy who is super nice in real life, but when he plays Undertale, he's a massive genocide addict and refuses to play the game any other way. In fact, as of this comment, he's actually on genocide run number 38. He has seriously murdered all the characters and destroyed the timelines that much, and he doesn't stop. So when I hear this, it's not Chara advancing towards me with a creepy face while offering their hand and partnership to destroy the world that scares me shitless; it's my best friend willingly taking their hand with a grin on his face, content that he completed another genocide, and then wanting to do it again! If that doesn't show that it's not Chara, but you the player that people should be terrified of as the real villain of the game, I don't know what will.
