ya furry
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."cat girls are diet furries
you make me want to do terrible things to you~I mean, I kind of wish there was a catch-all term for fans of any sort of hybrid or mix between human and animal, whether it's a girl with cat ears or a cat that stands on its hind legs and wears clothes or a cat that looks like a normal cat but talks and thinks like a human.
the term is "furries",
"furries", spottedleaf.
yeah but I too want a term for fans of funny animal works but don't dress up and/or sexualise them. just kinda like cute animals, that's all.
Like whenever I bring up a funny animal work like say, crash bandicoot, sly cooper, or klonoa I'm immediately accused of being a "degenerate" or something, I just like the gameplay and character design.

you make me want to do terrible things to you~But some furries get angry if you say that cat-girls or ferals count.
@Spottedleaf: Nyanko Days?
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingFurry is supposed to just be the term for people who like works with anthro animals but like with everything, people like to generalize. Nobody should be calling anyone a degenerate for liking that in whatever way, for just liking cute animals, or dressing up or for sexiness, just because of their stupid assumptions
Sturgeon's Law is too YMMV for page examples, so WHY is it not a YMMV trope!?owo
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."i don't dress up lol, or have any desires to, and I don't generalize, I know for 70% of the community it's just a hobby
you make me want to do terrible things to you~Thanks, I wish more people would realize that, and not imply being whatever kind of furry is bad
Sturgeon's Law is too YMMV for page examples, so WHY is it not a YMMV trope!?nah it's cool. I hate that stuff too.
you make me want to do terrible things to you~Democrats: -unreasonable screaming-
Republicans: -screaming about things that should be screamed about-
Alex Jones: -banned, because the Democrats don't like the fact that he's spreading truth-
Playing_with_boy: -banned for the same reason as Alex-
Yeah, while I don't really consider myself part of the fandom I do like anthro animals and even have some anthro/furry characters myself, and think the generalization/stereotypes are just annoying
(as for fursuits, well, as a cosplayer they're really just another kind of costume to me. don't have any plans to make one myself currently but depending on what character I'd want to be in the future (though I'd be more likely to just make a gijinka design of an animal/nonhumanoid character), who knows)
"Leftover items still have value!"Democrats turn me on, then again anyone with progressive views turns me on.
My Anime crush is LegosiNothing turns me on.
To be honest I'm not 100% sure if things turn me on.
My Anime crush is Legosibut the stereotypes are true tho
only for some of the fandom, like it's just a very vocal minority.
you make me want to do terrible things to you~
Here's some verbage tips:
Use "funny animal" for animals that behave like humans or have human characteristics, and use "furry" for humans for humans that behave like animals or have animal characteristics.
Sometimes it can be hard to tell where one ends and the other begins though

"Leftover items still have value!"simple as
jimmy white's blue balls
simple as
alright. Fairey-squarey.
In the animal world, Crash Bandicoot is a sort of werewolf thing (He's driving a car like a human!). Think "man-wolf".
In the human world, [some catgirl from some anime, i can't think of one off the top of my head] is also a sort of werewolf thing (She's cleaning herself by licking like a cat!). Think "wolf-man".
Behavior, yes, but I was thinking more about the "animals with human characteristics" (assuming looks) vs "humans with animal charasteristics". There's a lot of different ways to make a character like this

Maybe Tokyo Mew Mew
