Answering bluethorn, the Switch barely uses its motion controls. Any of the games I can think of that use it (Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Skyrim) all have an option to turn them off anyway.
It's a different system though. It doesn't use sensors like the Wii and Wii U. It relies on a gyroscope like the 3DS.

Ah, that's good then.
I don't hate motion controls but I don't like being forced to use them for everything like some Wii games did.
I still maintain that the Wii U was superior to the Wii in almost every way. :V
